This place is like a gem hidden deep in the mountain. Scenery during the winter is awesome. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The best part is the onsen, we love it so much.

A nice small Japanese hotel, wonderfully located next to a river, not far from Akahidake and Beie (although the Hagoromo falls which are very close are currently closed). Very nice staff, great room and the food is just amazing. We booked for 2 nights and ended up staying for 1 additional night. We had great time!

Our group enjoyed our stay at this ryokan. Rooms were clean and well kept. We especially loved ending our day with the onsen. The kaiseki dinner and breakfast spread were wonderful as well. Definitely would need a car to get here though as the location is rather remote.
Great traditional style hotel”
Nested in the forest in the national park, great escape from the hustle of busy tourist towns and cities. The dinner and breakfast were exquite, a great experience itself. Onsen was also great. They have staff that speaks Mandarin and English, all very helpful.
Friendly staff, nice view”
This hotel should be the only hotel still operates at that Onsen town, don’t know why that town is so dated, we walked ard, but not see any single person. The hotel is traditional Japanese hotel, small but ok to fit 3 of us. The breakfast and dinner were really not meet the onsen hotel standard, not value for money.. there is no fresh ingredients. Otherwise, the 2-3 staffs we met are very friendly.
