Convinient location, Chinese speaking staff”
The hostel was located within an hour walk from the blue pond and fudo falls , bot of which are located along the same forest trail. just near by is the shirahige falls and a volcanic showcase center There is a bus that traves towards biei and asahikawa station about 4times a day. there is a chinese speaking lady staff for those who do not know Japanese. Do take note that it does not have a drying machine for laundry and clothes have to be hung dry overnight inside your room, therefore plan your laundry activities properly

The hot springs is good. The hotel itself is traditional but awesome! I love it! And the hosts are very nice, I talked with them and whenever I need help or something, they are very warmhearted and enthusiastic. I also made friend with native people there~

Good value for the money paid!”
Stayed 1 night with my sister after a whole day touring Furano area. Not sure about the accessibility by public transport but for those driving here, the drive through the mountain forest from Kamifurano or Biei or totally worth it. The location is also close to the waterfall and not very far from Blue Pond so we visited both places very early in the morning before the crowd came.

No hot water in the shared toilets, which are not very clean, smelly heater, door lock not working... Good location and relatively affordable for the area. Onsen is ok

The receptioni's English is poor. They charged extra 3500 yen for my child without giving me anything. After communicating with the poor English receptionist, he finally gave me a pillow and some towels without quilt. Poor service and facilities.

Just Terrible Service”
浴室に衣類を忘れて、チェックアウト後に気づいたのでメッセージで連絡取ろうとしたらAGODAのメッセージが受信されないようで連絡が取れず、家に着いたあとに電話で連絡したら”基本的に、チェックアウトして3日後に捨てるのでない。外国人も多く来るゲストハウスで値段も比較的安く提供してるから。。文句があれば、訴訟なりを起こしてください。”とすごい態度で言われました。怖いとしか言いようがない。 I left my clothes and underwear in the public bath room, and only noticed I left them in the room after the check-out. When I called the hotel, the manager told me that "It is a company policy that anything the guest left in the hotel will be threw away in 3 days." He was rather very angry and told me "don't expect such service from a guesthouse as we offer reasonable price in the area, and if you are not happy about it, you should make a lawsuit. " Is this how the hospitality business works? The attitude of the guesthouse manager was terrible.

pro: direct bus from asahikawa Con: only morning bus convenient for blue pond. Suggest 45 min walk back to hostel to collect luggage and check out to catch 1020 bus to biei or asahikawa. You have to skipped breakfast only between 8 to 10am.

Reasonably priced onsen hotel”
Location is away from Biei and accessible by car close by Blue Pond. It is just along the road with street lights and not hard to identify. The owner is courteous and friendly, showed us around. Our room is big enough and basic, quiet even it’s next to the road. Hotel is dated but is clean and I dun mind because it gives a nostalgia feeling of the old travelling days. Price is very reasonable considering everything in Biei is on the more expensive side and choices are limited. Common TV room, kitchen is available for guest use and the guests are also nice. I guessed u can also preorder meals in advance. I like the onsen and it was relaxing after a day’s itenary. Down side only being the squeaky noise made by the doors- male onsen(I can hear the door open and shut) and our room being close by the smoking balcony so we were woke very early by smokers going in and out with door slams Overall, a nice stay!
