High Quality Stay”
The location and facilities are very good. Staff are friendly and room is clean and new. The overall design can be more like Japanese-style. Let the travellers have nearly the same feeling in Japan. The breakfast has many choices but I suggest to reduce the serving quantity of the main dishes. Let the traveller have more to taste other self-serving choices.

Great hotel”
The hotel is location is superb. It is very convenient as you will be able to find food right outside the hotel. The rooms are big and with big hot spring in your room to use at your convenience. My kids 18 yrs and 8 yrs enjoyed the room very much. And there is an activity for kid to do at 3.30pm.

A pleasant stay (too short !)”
I booked one night at Yamagata Kaku to enjoy some time with my girlfriend out of Taipei. The staff was very welcoming and caring. We enjoyed a free DIY activity after our arrival which was fun. The room was nice and clean. We didn't visit the public hotspring as we had the private one in the room with a big bathtub. The room amenities were also with fruits and drinks (coffee, tee, soda, beer, soy milk, and water of course). Everything was perfect. We had dinner at the Yonezawa restaurant at the top floor. The food was delicious ! It has been a while since I enjoyed such a quality meal at a hotel. And once again the staff was lovely and caring. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant. We will surely come back next time !

Very well maintained and if high standards. Staff are friendly and helpful. Enjoyed both the onsen in the room and common bath. Only issue is the closing time is too early for the common bath for afternoon and night. Overall still a very good experience.

Everything is great at this hotel. I would definitely give it 5 stars. I would only suggest that they have more equipment for the fitness room and that they serve better coffee knot from machine) .

High service standard ”
The location is excellent with famous local delicacies within 5-10min walk from hotel. We enjoyed the onsen in the hotel room which is almost sparkle clean. Staff service standard is high, similar to Japan hotel standard.

Hotel location is unbeatable, just a 3 min walk from the train station arriving from Taipei. Service is impeccable. The breakfast is filling and nourishing.

Best choice of hotel in Jiaoxi”
The staff bring us to the room and told us which level is the restaurant for the breakfast and tell us there is a play room inside there is Nintendo switch game and also a ktv but too back we came slightly late as the play room close at 9pm. Minibar include taiwan beer, sprite, soya bean milk and coke. Breakfast took the salmon Japanese set, and it look like a lunch to me.

I appreciate Yamagatakaku to give us a wonderful experience. So friendly service from desk front gives us a impression because he describe detail hotel service and lead us to our room. And I also get amazing dinner in hotel’s restaurant,米澤.The Chef use the local food material and high cooking skill to make a wonderful dish ,even the dessert also touches our heart. Fantastic experience ”
Fantastic experience thanks to the staff’s helpful, friendly and genuine service. The room was squeaky clean. Breakfast on the top floor was very delicious with good ambience. Excellent location in the centre of Jiaoxi. Minor comment is the air conditioner. The air conditioner blows cold air directly to the bed, which may make people easily got sick and lead to bad sleep. Will definitely come back!

We enjoyed our stay & its closeness to the train station, street food & public foot spa locations. Do check in with hotel for spa cleaning day, we were lucky we arrived the next day. Spa facilities was all cleaned up for us.

Very clean and big room, nice hot tub for hot spring. Good quality amenity. Hotel has 2 nice Japanese restaurants. Easy access to 7-11 and other small street food stands.
