BEST! location and ONLY place that i stay at”

Vessel Inn hakata nakasu is the ONLY place that i stay at when i go to fukuoka. This will be my 4th time staying witb Vessel Inn. The price, location, rooms are clean staff speaks english well and are VERY friendly and accomdating! I schedule my trips around the hotels availabilities. ONLY place that I will stay-!

My stay at Best Western Fukuoka Nakasu Inn was very great since the hotel location is really strategic ., close to subway station, many restaurant, convenient store and also walk to Tenjin (shopping arcade) about 15-20 minutes., if you love to explore nightlife in Fukuoka ., Nakasu area is one of the best area to see that. Friendly and helpful staff ., they are willing to help you anything you need., Cleanliness is one of my impress point of this hotel .,, i could say that there is nothing to complain about cleanliness .,, just perfect! Breakfast is cool .,, tiny., not vary but consumptives and catering staff were very great about service too. This hotel is suit for both business and leisure indeed .,, highly recommend :D

the best western fukuoka nakasu inn is conveniently located just a stone throw from a nakasu-kawabata subway station exit 3 (also an interchange station between kuko line and hakozaki line). the hotel has very nice furnishing throughout with all the amenities needed for my stay. the shower is one of the most powerful i have ever seen. the staff were very nice. we arrived before official check-in time of 3pm so our luggage were stored at the hotel and when we returned, they were already in our room. excellent service and great comfort, the hotel is ideal to anyone visiting fukuoka.

Great location but small rooms”

The staff was friendly, and did seem to speak a bit of English. The hotel was very modern and clean, and the location was great. Located in the Nakasu area, it is just around the corner from the Nakasu subway station, and between Hakata, Tenjin, and the airport, which is a great location for restaurants, shopping, and getting around. Overall, my stay was a pleasant experience.

The rooms might be small but Toyama and his staffs have bigger hearts and better Professional Services than most 5 Stars Hotels! Good Service Staff, Good Location”

best western nakasu was not difficult to find. a few minutes walk from the nakasu-kawabata station exit 6, across the river (towards tenjin direction), right turn at the first (busy) intersection and there is the hotel. location is good as it is close to the nakasu kawabata train station, restaurants, cafes, izakayas, convenient stores. a few mins walk and you will reach tenjin as well. a nice 10 min walk normal walk pace will bring you to canal city. the famous ichiran ramen is only a few mins walk as well. the service is pleasant and all the staff is very helpful. rooms are quite small however (even for japanese standards). the room size is adequate for a solo traveler but the room i had will be difficult to fit 2 people inside. even with a small suitcase and a hand carry on bag, i didnt have much room to move in the room. so if you plan to stay alone for a day or two, it should be adequate. i didnt use much of the tv so i cannot comment on that. to give you an idea of the size, the distance of the mounted flat screen tv to my bed was only about 2-3 feet. bathroom is of standard japanese style with a mini bathtub. however, it is complete with all the amenities. again, just a tad small but still ok. despite the size, everyone working at the hotel was very friendly, pleasant, and helpful. so for the great service and location, i would choose again despite the room size.

Great location with great service”

This hotel was in a really nice location in Fukuoka. Easily within walking distance to Canal City Mall and walkable to the party areas of Tenjin. Rooms were classically small like all Japanese western-style rooms, but the price was completely affordable. There was also a very convenient subway station nearby as well as plenty of restaurants and partying in the Nakasu area. The staff was very very helpful, especially in the morning when our car broke down and the staff walked out to help us.

Great Hotel”

A great hotel in the located in a great place. You are close to a subway line, so easy access to other parts of Fukuoka as well as rest of Japan (thru Hakata Station). The rooms are narrow and about the standard Japanese size. The breakfast was great I can't complain there. The staff wasn't too comfortable with English, but you can get your point across or use Google Translate.

this hotel is located in the center of NAKASU district in Fukuoka city. 4-5 stop from Fukuoka Airport to Nakasu by subway train and also 2 minutes from subway exit. Nakasu main street and nakasu riverside attracton area is also walking distance. With the price , it is good deal.

BEST LOCATION, clean, friendly staff, AWESOME STAY! ”

I would def stay here again-! 1. The location is AWESOME-! when you get out of NAKASU KAWABATA STATION EXIT 3 The hotel is just right around the corner. Its not only super close to everythinf, but its on the Kuko line so transportation to and from the airport and all major locations is super easy. Best of all, don quijote is right across the street-! and 6min walk to canal city! 2. The staff are super polite, nice, welcoming and speak great english-! I had zero trouble communicating. If you arrive early, they will hold your luggage for you. 3. The morning, afternoon, eveninf free snacks are a plus! 4. The room is small (like all japanese rooms), but perfect for single travellers. Super clean, well equipped, quiet, and best thing NO BED BUG ISSUES! 5. Only thing missing, free waters in the room. 6. Lots of restaurants, stores and lots to see. I would def stay here again! Im already bummed that they are fully booked on my next travel dates :(

A surprisingly good hotel with super good location.”

Aside of a tiny room, which is not "wrong" in general in terms of the hotels in Japan, nothing really came bad. The water pressure, airconditioning, air prifier, hot/cold water and bath, bidet, amenities, all the small and big things, everythign was ready. They do provide welcome drink and snacks for free during certain times, so you may relax at the 1st floor before rushing into the room. It is 1 minute away from the subway station and literally located just in front of the entrance of Nakasu red-light area. There are tons of good restaurants and convenience stores just around corners and in general, this hotel does not cost you that much. My 2 visits have been fantastic with this hotel. Highly recommended.

this is the cleanest and most comfortable best western i've stayed at. the best western's abroad (i'm from the states) are cleaner and more moderm. the room was very clean. though the room is small, it is enough space (in japan) for two. mind you, most hotel rooms in japan are really small. the furniture is modern and up to par. it is only a few steps away from the nakasu subway station and tengin (shopping area) is just a ten minute walk away. staff are friendly and helpful. downfall of the hotel is that there is no wifi or internet connection. however, there is a computer that can be accessed in the main lobby.

Pros: - few steps from nakasu kawabata station - walking distance to canal city (exit 5) - near tenjin - room is equipped with everything you need (toiletries, face mask, cleansing oil, facial wash, sponge bath, even shoe shine, room spray) - strong internet connection - room is always clean - unli drinks from late afternoon til late evening (coffee, softdrinks, various teas) - free snacks in the afternoon and rice toppings in the evening - Walking distance to yatay street stalls Cons: - better if there’s english channel like hbo or fox movies & cnn Staffs are all courteous like any other locals in the city. We’ll definitely go back 🤗

Small means small”

Super location, very clean and modern rooms. Bathroom was spotless clean as well. The small rooms might cause problems if you travel with more an average suitcase, not to speak of two travellers. Staff is friendly, but hardly speaks any English. If you arrive at the airport, take the tube. The hotel is just around Nakasu-Kawabata-Station. Opposite is the IP-Hotel (which is marked in the free Now map for tourist). A vending machine sells cold drinks.

It is only 2 minutes of a short walk from a subway station that directly goes to the airport. It is just located at the north entrance of Nakasu district. If you like walking, Tenjin is within walking distance, but you can always take a train to get there comfortably. Welcome cookies and drinks are surprise with good quality. The room is small, but every other similar graded hotels do have similar size. Can highly recommended to any business travelers or solo travelers.

I chose here because of the good location. The Inn is 30 seconds by walk to Kakadu Wakabata underground station and is close to two major stations (Hakata & Tenjin). The escalator to the underground is just across from the street if carrying the luggages. There is also a 24-hour supermarket in the underground station.

The location is perfect! It's right beside the subway station where the subway goes to Fukuoka Airport. The shopping district is also in walking distance. Rivers are also nearby. Very pleasant neighborhood and excellent location for such rate. Hotel room is clean and comfortable. Reception staff are friendly. I definitely will stay there again if I visit Fukuoka.

i stayed at this hotel for three days. it was about the same size as other japanese city hotels. though small, i was satisfie with breakfast, cleaning, and the kindness of the lobby staff. the price is rather low. i want to stay here the next time if i visit fukuoka.

Probably the best thing about the Best Western Fukuoka Nakasu Inn is the location. Bear in mind though that the station itself is quite big and it is a little bit of a walk to the platform itself. And the entrance nearest the hotel doesn't have a lift, so it might be cumbersome if you are planning to take the subway to/from the airport. Otherwise, if you are travelling light, or game for a little bit of workout, that's fine. The rooms are predictably very small, but this is Japan, after all. The nice thing about the room that we stayed in though is that the bathroom seems to have been recently retrofitted, so everything looked new.
