"We had a lovely stay in Himchuli. The family were very nice, welcoming and helpful and the guesthouse is ideally located in the lovely little town of Bandipur near the start of the walking trail to Ramkot. Lovely views of the Himalayas from the balcony also. "

"This is a very good value b&b/simple hotel with simply put the most impressive views I've ever experienced! The views from the hotel rooms stretches tens of kilometers and gives this place an almost surreal and magical quality. I recommend it highly for couples that want to find a relaxing retreat in the Nepalese mountains. The owner is a chatty and generous man from Kathmandu that served me a super-tasty breakfast cooked à la minute and served in the super cosy terrace. The tranquility and atmosphere of this place is well worth the trip to Nepal alone! Wifi is available (but don't expect to stream HD YouTube videos – but you're in Nepal so why would you be interested in doing that?). My only critical observation is the simple standard of the hotel rooms (hot water didn't work, the "road"/mountain path to the hotel winds through households with goats etc) that might irritate some inexperienced tourists. But Nepal is all about experiencing a different world, and not complaining about differences to Western material standards!"
