Good location, friendly staff”

I booked this hotel for my aunt and her friends a day before they checked in as their tour agency messed up their hotel booking in Taipei. When she checked in, the front desk presented her with a birthday cake as they noticed beforehand that it was her birthday that day. The rooms are clean and fresh smelling. The location is great too as it is less than 10 minutes walk to Ximending, a mrt stop away from Taipei main station where they need to take a train to other parts of Taiwan. They ended up taking a taxi to the main station and the ride was about 5 minutes only. In addition, it is only a few mrt stops to Shilin night market, Longshan temple and not too many stops away from Sogo, Taipei 101.After experiencing some screw ups during their trip, they were very pleased to stay in a pleasant hotel at a good location with nice staff. They will finitely stay there again and i will book a stay there the next time i travel to Taipei.

Taipei Garden Hotel”

We had a great time staying in the Taipei Garden Hotel. The room is very clean with a morden design. It is within walking distance to several Metro stations that we used to travel around Taipei and we could walk to several tourist attraction places such as C.K.S. Memorial hall, the presidential office, and etc. The location of the hotel is excellent! I definitely recommend this hotel to any one who enjoys a comfortable stay in Taipei.

nice hotel with very helpful staff”

the most value-for-money 5-star hotel i could find when i tried to book the hotel last minute (1 month in advance)..most other hotels were already fully booked and after much comparison, i chose this one. everything was perfect except that the shuttle bus from freego only operates during certain timings. i arrived at the airport in the evening and had to transfer to a cab (cost another twd200) before reaching the hotel. my flight was in the morning, but freego bus only picks up from the hotel after about 11am. i had to again catch a cab to taipei main station. everything else was wonderful. big room, very helpful staff. definitely a five-star hotel experience.

Excellent”

Very near to Xiaonanmen mrt station(Green Line). However, the mrt does not go to Taipei main station. Have to alight at Beimen station and walk about 10 to 15 mins to Taipei Main Station. There are also buses in front of the hotel that goes to Taipei Main Station which we only find out after a few days stay. There is also a Carrfour opposite the hotel which is very convenient to get some snacks. Walking distance to Ximen night market.

Top Quality Hotel”

The hotel is a stand alone building making it easy for the taxis to either pick up or drop off customers. (You will appreciate it when it is raining outside) The Guestrooms are spacious (35+ sq. meters) with very comfortable beds, sitting area, and large windows looking out the city. The area around the hotel is a quiet neighborhood but 500 meters away is the busy Ximending. Two subway stations are located 400-500 meters away from the hotel. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. We were there for 6 nights and we absolutely enjoy our stay at the Taipei Garden.

Great Location, Service and Room Amenities”

This is a busy hotel in Taipei. Upon arrival, we discovered Carre Four, Starbucks, McDonald were nearby. Carre Four is open 24x7! A hospital and traditional market were also within walking distance. We chose this hotel because we had to take High-Speed Rail down to central Taiwan. After several hotel nights in Taiwan and Japan, kids unanimously voted Taipei Garden Hotel was the best! They want to stay here next visit.

Great location and service”

We stayed at Taipei Garden Hotel for a total of 5 days during mid may. we found that the service of the hotel was really good and they attended to our needs readily. Moreover, the hotel is positioned at a strategic location (near Xi Men Ding and Xiao Nan Men - central taipei). Thus, it was really easy to travel to the different parts of taipei.

Lovely Hotel with professional service ”

we traveled to taipei with 2 children age 8 and 10. we have the opportunity to stay in the junior suite which is quite comfortable with all kind of great facilities like lcd tv, free wifi and etc. the good things about this hotel is that the location is great where you can easily reach the night market and other tourist location, further more the mrt station is just 5 minute walking distance. i can easily find the shopping area and also the food stall nearby this hotel. they also offered me a impressive service where they are really helpful. i have some things to left for my friends in taipei and i left it at the front desk , they contacted my friends at once and arranged for pick up, no extra charges. thanks

Nice decor, convenient location, comfortable rooms”

Taipei Garden Hotel is 15 min walk from Ximending, and 10 min walk from MRT station Xiao Nan Men. A small but beautiful and new hotel, very comfortable to stay in. This hotel caters mostly to individual travellers so there are no massive tour group crowd, although it is crowded due to its popularity. Taxi reservation to airport cost NT1200 which is expensive. If you can spare 3.5-4 hours and manageable luggage, arrange with the front desk for a Freego bus transfer at NT140 only.

Comfortable, quiet stay in great location ”

Having never been to Taipei before, we found the location of the Hotel great for getting around on the MRT, with the Xiaonanmen station only a five minute walk away, and also walking distance to the Ximending area, where there was lots of shopping, food outlets and people around. We had neglected to book a room for our first night's stay, and were able to get a triple at very short notice, which was fine for the one night. Large single beds were clean and comfortable, and the room was large enough for the three of us. We then had two rooms near each other (a twin and a double) on the same floor (12th) which were both facing the same view of Zhonghun street and a 180 degree cityscape view which was always interesting, day and night. Being on a main, busy road, the rooms were surprisingly quiet, and we found the staff friendly and willing to help with anything we needed. There were several very large groups staying over the weekend, and it seemed to be popular for local conferences or conventions. Our booking didn't include breakfast, but at $24 a person, we didn't take that option for the four mornings we were there, but thoroughly enjoyed strolling a short distance each morning to Yanping S Rd. where there were several coffee shops and small local restaurants to choose from. The restaurant seemed to be quite popular for dinner, but we chose to go to night markets (Raohe & Shilin) and eat from various street-food stalls. We made use of the gym upstairs, which had great views over the city. There were weights for my son to use, but not many other machines - a couple of treadmills/cross-trainers, and a couple for the chest and legs. Towels and bottled cold water were provided. We didn't use the spas on the rooftop, which were smaller than they'd appeared on the website. The views of the city were wonderful from the rooftop, but it was windy up there, and as the weather wasn't brilliant during our stay, we never went out there.

Room are big and great view of the City of Taipei from my room 1411 including the view of Taipei 101. Clean and well furnish bed room and bath room. Requested for a pair of chopsticks for instead noodles and it was delivered to my room within 5 minutes. Complimentary bottled water provided every day. Hotel staff greets guest with a genuine smile and passion to serve. Nice roof top patio on the 16th floor to catch the day and night scenery of Taipei cityscape

Classy, comfortable and easy accessible hotel”

Fantastic hotel! Suitable for couple. A small tub for you to soak yourself. Friendly crew. Room is very spacious, and also have a long bench for you to put your luggage on. It's long enough to open 2 luggages! They have clean and comfy bed. 5 mins walk to 小南門 station which is 1 stop away from 西門町, shopping paradise. It's also a station away from Taipei main station, where you can take train out to the other state.

Nice refurbrished hotel”

Good impression as Taipei can give quite nasty surprises with their hotel ratings. Taipei Garden turned out to be conveniently located between 2 MRT stations within 5-10 mins walk. Good sized bathrooms, in the Junior Suite, which had a calming colour sccheme, ample space. A great walking distance to Ximen and Ximending and Kunming street, which is packed with eateries.

As a first time visitor to Taipei this was a great introduction to accommodation: the staff were very helpful, the room was clean and well serviced and access to other tourist points was relatively easy. Thank you Taipei Garden Hotel for a very enjoyable stay.

accommodation often one of the main concern for 3 adults travel together. we were impressed by the deluxe triple room offer by taipei garden hotel. we have a high-floor room with a super king-sized bed plus a super single-sized bed. the room was clean, good condition as well the toilet is spacious. we definitely would stay at this hotel again in our next rip to taipei.

Location: Walking distance to the blue and green MRT lines. Convenience stores (7-11's, coffee shops, bakery, cakes, etc.). Fresh fruit vendor at the left side of the hotel. Near to Ximending Night Market, Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial, Parks, etc. Next to a hospital (can't even hear any ambulance sirens inside our room). Room: Great room. Clean. No foul smell. Very big and soft bed (could fit 3 people). English cable channels (Cartoon Network, NatGeo, DiscoveryCH, Animal Planet, AXN, HBO, etc.). Very cold AC. Fantastic view to the Taipei 101. Bathroom have a hot & cold sink and shower. Electronic bidet w/ toilet seat warmer (Japan style). Staff: Great staff. Excellent in giving us directions and options to choose if we want to go somewhere. So far, all of them can speak English. Food (breakfast buffet): Great breakfast from Asian to Western food. Love the soya milk. A must try ice-cream selection. I love staying in this hotel. Very peaceful after rush-hours. Streets are not crowded.

Comfortable stay”

Stayed at Taipei Garden Hotel on our first day in Taipei. It’s a nice and well furnished hotel. The family quad room was spacious and comfortable for four adults. It was easy getting around Taipei from this hotel as you can easily hail a cab right outside the hotel. I was shocked to see a queue outside the restaurant during breakfast and the restaurant staff were unfortunately not as efficient as they should be in clearing up the used tables promptly which contributed to the queue. The breakfast spread was however, good. Value for money and definitely a nice enough hotel...

Great location”

I debate a long time prior to choosing a hotel in Taipei. I chose this hotel because it was five stars at a nice price. I was so happy once I arrived, the hotel is clean, front desk people are very professional ( I would have preferred a little warmer), helpful and polite. The location was great, we were within walking distance to night market and most attractions. Other areas were too crowded or neighborhoods not so nice or nice neighborhoods but not so close to attractions. It was perfect for me and I recommend it. They have a bakery next door so if you want a snack or to skip the hotel breakfast you can grab something on the go.

I stayed in a premium suit room. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The room has a separate bathroom and rain shower. Amenities are from L'occitane. Great selection! The location is not in the Taipei main station, although it says so. Overall great stay. I would stay here again.

to be honest was not planning to stay at the taipei garden but due to circumstances was required to stay fro business requirements however once checked in was pleasantly surprised at service and cleanliness of rooms. staff were very helpful when required and overall i have a good experience at the hotel.
