Authentic and Thoughtful ”

We loved this place so much! We weren't expecting a traditional and authentic experience here. The rooms where spacious and super comfy. There was kimonos provided in the room, tea and the toilets were well equipped. Location was good and the owner was very kind and helpful.

Simple and comfortable”

Japanese style room. Very comfortable futon/mattress. However, there is only one bathroom, so we had to wait to shower. No towel provided. Thankful that we got the room that was on the first floor. (Not too sure if they actually have more rooms on the second floor. If there are, it would be too difficult to carry luggage up the staircase.)

Clean and functional”

We drove from Chitose airport and checked-in before nightfall. Parking spaces were behind the building. The tatami-styled room was suitable for our family of 2 adults, 1 child and 1 infant. The whole place was very clean and in pretty good condition. The down side was that the room was a bit stuffy in mid-summer as only a square fan was available. There was only 1 shared bathroom per gender so it could be a bit of a wait if there are many guests. Overall, it was alright for a night as a base of travel in Furano.

Clean and value for money. Good location. But breakfast is not provided and the recommended place for breakfast only opens 6am to 8:30am, but it closes by the time we reached there by 8am. It would be better if they provide more value added service or advise like this.

Hotel is located within walking distance of Furano JR Station, and is also very near Kumagera, one of the best restaurants in the area. There is only one shared bathroom for showering among everyone staying in the hotel, but it was not a problem for me since I ended my day relatively early and there was no queue.

NO entire set of water boiler”

It's good that the hotel is near by the station, it was raining and cold but the room only has water boiler but no plug to boil at all . meaning it's only able to load cold water . Also It's hard to find people in front desk . Also , there is only one bath room with time restriction in this hotel . It will be a little bit inconvenient.

Nice place”

The place is about 15 mins walk away from station, in winter it takes that long because it hard to push ur luggage. Clean and owner provide free shuttle to ski resort.

The good thing is the location is near to Furano Station and easy to find. The room is big too. However the owner of the hostel is unfriendly and not so helpful. The facility only have one shower room and one ladies, wasting time to wait for shower. The shower time is from 7am-9.30am and 3pm-11pm. No place to sit down to eat other than in your own room.

Not a good choice for high season”

There is only one bathroom, there will be a terrible traffic on high season. Staff is very kind and the location is good, not far from JR. However, others might be better chioces if you travel on high season

Extremely cheap owner”

I would have given much worse ratings had it not been for the close proximity to JR station and relative cleanliness of the Japanese-style rooms. Here's where the guesthouse fails. It has only 1 bath & shower facility for the entire guesthouse, which accommodates 30-40 rooms. You can do the math! To make it worse, the bath is only open from 5-10pm, and guests are not supposed to drain the bath water so we're supposed to bathe in each other's filthy water. To top it off, there are no towels provided either. You have to pay 150 yen for use of a towel. That's clearly not expensive, but the fact that you even have to pay for something that should be included in your room makes one think the owner is trying to milk more money from his guests. I stayed in much better akibas than this for less money!
