I was wondering why I woke up with all these bite marks! Thought the mosquitoes loved my out of town blood. Then I woke up in the middle of the night and seen them on my pillow! And the didn’t want to give me a full refund and I had proof!

The stay was good! Room was nice! Staff was excellent, front desk was very friendly! This hotel is my not your five star hotel but it’s a nice older hotel with an amazing staff! People with there negative reviews are those with champagne taste on a beer budget. Seen it twice while there. Just don’t review. Excellent price, awesome customer service, great location.

Great spot for a cheap beach weekend! ”

If you're looking for a cheap beach weekend this is the perfect spot. It is either right on the beach or across the street from the beach depending on which building you are in. My room was extremely clean which was a relief me after reading some of the other reviews. If you're looking for a clean bed on the beach for cheap I'd recommend this place

Room cleanliness is terrible. Hair & dirt in sink, toilet, drawers, floor etc. Room very dusty.”

The bedroom drawers had a despicable amount of hair in it. I used half a container to wipe down bathroom with Lysol wipes because of hair and specs of dirt. Floor wasn't vacuumed properly. Room set up is nice. Didn't get my balcony I booked. I am an executive and would NEVER let the hskp leave room in this condition. Team leader should do better also. Clean better, then it will be worth future bookings. Hotel has potential

Deceiving”

This hotel had three buildings, when I booked, I reserved what I thought was ocean front with a view. I was told by rude staff member Reggie, ( who acted like he was annoyed that I booked through a third party) I did NOT have oceanfront and I was staying in the building across the street from the beach. The carpet in my room was sticky and I wrote new white socks that were completely Brown with nastiness from the dirty carpet. Disappointed in the whole situation. I should have read previous reviews. Others staff was excellent and friendly, breakfast was ok. The advertisements for the hotel show the building that is oceanfront, that to me is very deceiving.

We were a little surprised to find that our modest-sized room with one (very comfortable) double bed also contained a full-sized fridge, four-ring stove with oven, microwave, sink, cupboards, pots, dishes, cutlery, table for two. We didn't need this at all (just spending the night so as to catch an early morning flight out of Myrtle Beach Airport), but if you did want to self-cater, you'd be set

The hotel is located at least 1-2 miles from the main Myrtle Beach central area. The hotel does not have a beach front, though there is a building opposite which also says Best Western, but the bulk of the rooms are on the other side of the road further away from the beach. There are no restaurants or amenities near the hotel. The free Wifi is good for rooms near the hotel reception or pool, but the majority of the rooms facing away the pool has weak reception. Room is not that spacious.
