Best staff! Immaculate Hotel!”

Wife and I have talked about visiting Taitung for years, and we finally made the trek. We chose Sheraton based on online reviews, and our experience was far better than we expected. The entire facility was immaculate, top to bottom, from our room, to the lobby, to the gym, to the restaurant and to the underground parking lot. It was really amazing. At first, it struck me as super clean, so I started looking for places that weren't clean, and couldn't find any. Also, the architecture is really aesthetic on the interior, the extensive use of marble everywhere is really great. More importantly, the staff were incredibly polite and super friendly. During our next trip to Taitung, I'd definitely stay there again. As for location, it's central Taitung and an easy ride to nearby sights.

Excellent”

Overall, this location is what you'd expect from a Sheraton hotel. However, the room design lacks privacy, and the receptionists are incompetent. What's the point of having multiple checkin/out windows but only one person working the shift? My checkout receptionist was very passive and unprofessional. I was standing there like an idiot while she was fooling around, fully aware that I was waiting for her. Nevertheless, the rooms are reasonably priced and the location is great for a short stay in Taitung.

excellent staff”

Stayed in this hotel for 2 days. Staffs are always greeting you with smiles and with good attitude. With free service travelling from Taitung train station is a bonus. Nice and comfortable room. Will stay again next time when visiting Taitung.

Decent hotel in the heart of the city”

As you'd except from a Sheraton Hotel this is a decent place with friendly and well trained staff. A couple of nice places/hot spots in Taitung are in walking distance.

I really love my stay in this hotel. It gave me a wow factor from the moment i step into the hotel lobby all the way to the room. I will definitely goes back again! and would strongly recommend all my friends if they are going to Taitung !

A very enjoyable weekend”

A central location, nice modern environment, super-comfortable and well done room, very helpful staff all contributed to a good stay. The night-market on Saturdays right in front of the hotel is fun. Their shuttle service from the train station is very convenient. The view from our 16th floor room to the north-east was great.

So so”

This Sheraton is lesser compared to say, Hsinchu. The roof deck was off limits owing to a failed inspection. Many areas such as all the ledges in the atrium were coated in dust and dirt. The gym is very small and not behind a closed door, so any working out is done in the.public eye. They have free bikes to use which is a plus, and the hotel is right on the night market. The rooms were cramps, and the shower had only a privacy curtain separating it from the room. In other words, there is not an actual 'bathroom' meaning a separate room from the bedroom. Not a great stay and I won't bother coming back. Not awful, but nothing to come back for.

Best Hotel to Stay”

The night market is just located outside of hotel. Breakfast spread is good and have cooking station for hot piping local food. Service is excellent and room is spacious. The hotel staff is very helpful and will recommend you the places worth to visit.

best hotel I have ever stayed in taiwan so far”

I have been on around island tour for a week now been to 7 different hotels this is by far the best I have ever stayed super clean very good facilities. Only down side is the food. We arrived late so had to eat our meal in the hotel buffet which really sucks. They had some fresh seafood for you to order but I guess the chief doesn't share the same kinda taste with us. And don't expect too much from the breakfast either.

Beautiful hotel, comfortable rooms. Great sauna. Swim pool could be heated in December. Good Cantonese restaurant.

We love the design and set up of the hotel inside out. The breakfast was a treat. However the surrouding areas/building are not quite the same.

Nice location, stylish lobby”

Location is quite nice, with Supermarket and night market nearby. Easy to grab something to eat & drink. The room is spacious, however the air con is quite noisy. I thought it was thundering and it made me awake in the midnight. Overall, it’s a nice hotel though.

Very nice place; good staff; limited pool hours”

Four stars on Facilities bc the pool only opens at 3pm, which is very inconvenient. But it's nice and clean (though pretty chilly in the winter!). The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great location”

Went there for Challenge Taiwan Triathlon. Great location to reach both the starting and finishing gates. Official hotel for the event.

Exquite and Beautiful Place to Stay,”

Overall comfortable, and pleasant.But the separation of shower room from toilet with no bath tub is not good. And the window could be more clean.
