On arrival, the check in was the most TEDIOUS I’ve ever seen. A sum of 1,000 Durhams(equivalent to £249) was demanded as a “holding fee”, to make matters worse I was told that my hotel room would be ready for 16.00pm due to a late checkout, despite the website saying check in is at 14:00pm. To use beach and pool is a sum of 550 Durhams, which is ridiculous as it should have come with the hotel price. Wi-Fi only works in some of the rooms in the apartment. Cleanliness however was 10/10. I would avoid unless your rich and have money to spend unnecessarily.

Very very disappointing poor service”
Our room was not ready at 3pm. Prior to our arrival, I sent our passports copy. Twas already evening when they adviced finally that the room is ready. On our way there, we were instructed to head to building 20. My daughter went in for check in, spent more than an hour in their office (am wondering what took the check in too long), and I've waited outside the building to look after our luggages in the dark creepy outside entrance. Yes no lights on !!! After almost a couple of hours, we were adviced that we are billed at building 15 and have to use a cab to go there. What a very inconvenient way of checking in. They asked us to go bldg 20 just to collect our refundable 1,000 dirhams. But during check out, a staff came to our room to refund. My concern is, why cant a staff come to meet us right there where we are supposed to stay??? Why the troublesome procedure? The distance betwee building 20 and 15 is quite far !! And they dont have a transport to facilitate guests. What a poor service. This needs to be rectified !!

Lovely Apartment with everything you'll need”
My family and I stayed at the Royal Club Jumeirah during January 2013. We were extremely happy with the accommodation and the staff were very friendly and helpful. What we loved about the apartment was that it is situated in a very good location and also very close to Atlantis and the beach. The only downfall was that there was no swimming pool in our block of apartments and we had to pay to use the swimming pool located at the Shoreline apartments directly opposite our apartment. You also have to pay if you want to use the nearby beaches.

Value for money”
Here, everything is wonderful. Spacious sitting room, large balcony, separate wardrobe area, fully equipped kitchen, cozy sofa set, comfortable bed, nice view, etc. The TV in room as well as the one in the sitting room were bit old. Wi-Fi was good. Service was good and all the staff including security people were amazing. You call for any assistance and it's right there. No waiting. Most of all, it's very clean and well maintained. Lot of plug points for charging. Washing machine, iron with ironing board are also in the apartment. Stay here and you will feel like home. And if you want to feel like home, this is the place. The one disadvantage I have noticed is you need to take a taxi to go to even the nearest metro. And Dubai is not cheap. Especially Taxis

Great location. Beach access is for an additional of 100 Dhs/person. Check-in at 4 pm though pre requested for an early check-in. Good for group of persons as rooms have a decent size. Sound proofing of rooms are bad. Traditional design. Cheap toiletries. It doesn’t stand to its name as Royal instead an ordinary apartment but its good enough if you would like for just a room to sleep with. There’s no fancy in here as Dubai is known for.

Family visiting ”
I was staying at the Atlantis and wanted somewhere to put my extended family close by to join me. I booked or for my so sore her 2 young children and nanny and my father. It was very clean. Very well situated. It had an amazing super market on the doorstep.(not an expensive food shop on the palm surprisingly )the apartment was not noisey as I had read and was worried about. It had everything my family needed. Was perfect we would book and use them again ! Very happy customer. Lots bathrooms nice bedrooms kitchen etc etc fab !

Dubai Palm Stay”
Very happy with my stay. After being on the road for a couple of days, was very excited to find that my room had a wash machine. Plenty of English channels on the satellite TV. Enjoyed the facilities including the restaurant, health club, spa and pool. Would gladly stay at this hotel in the future.

Nice but noisy appartment on the Palm”
Appartment is nicely located but poorly insulated from traffic noise. As it lies along the main access road to the Palm, traffic is disturbing, even at night on the 8th floor. Friendly and helpful personnel. Appartment was large and equipped with all possible appliances, suitable for a longer stay. Nice balcony but a bit moisy due to traffic. Parking spot in underground garage included. Internet is charged.

Probably the best deal on the Palm”
The flats are,I think, timeshare appts. So the standard of fittings and the kitchens are quite high. Although I have stayed in the more expensive appts facing onto the beach side and found them to be a bit more tired through. If you are willing to forego the sea view the price dips dramatically. Only real criticism is the 4pm book in time. Your really wasting a day of what for us was a 2 day break between flights. Remember to add on £11 each if you fancy a stroll on the beach, never mind a swim, but hey, that’s Dubai. Nothings free.

Good facilities but beach accept is problematic”
Very good flats at low prices and very good standards. Nice Staff. Access to the beach can be quite far (having to cross the busy avenue is not pleasant) and payable (100 AED: the security guys at the beach are painful (three checks per day) and the life guard narrow-minded (you cannot swim outside the zone, it is dangerous.....). On the far end, the coffee shops have their sewage straight into the bathing area: awful!

Pay to use the Pool and Beach - Rip Off!”
Firstly, to have to check in to a "hotel" where the reception is in a different building to the one you are staying in is just rediculous! Secondly, No WIFI - real hotels provide WIFI and most stopped charging for WIFI years ago. Thirdly, to be charged $25 per person per day to use the beach and pool is just a bloody rip off and shows how unprofessional this so called "hotel" was. Fourth, getting on and off the Palm Jumeirah is a real pain especially during the working week. Traffic is very busy and taxi's are non-existant during these times.

Lovely apartments and nice stay”
It was excellent clean serviced apartments the only disadvantage was the health club and swimming pool requirent extra fees for entrance about 80 dhs per person which become costly if big families need to enjoy the pool or the beach, other than that every thing was satisfactory.
