Won't Recommend to Anyone”
1. Far from city center, few restaurants nearby, nothing to see/visit nearby, and hard to reach from high speed rail. Need a car for sure to access/stay. No pickup/dropoff service from high speed rail station; they said we needed to book in advance but when we tried that they said we had to stick to HSR station coaches and their schedules. 2. Costly rooms but the interior decor is just homey, though the cleaning crew was very nice and helpful. 3. Bathtub wasn't scrubbed clean; my skin itched after using it... 4. Family room is in a different building from front desk's, and our 90-year-old grandma had to climb stairs multiple times... 5. Outdoor pool was nice, to say the least. Breakfast buffet is the only other thing worth mentioning.

Great hotel with fabulous breakfast”
We just loved Queena Plaza Hotel. We're a Hong Kong family of five, but we've booked a room for 6 for 2 nights because we wanted to have a spacious room. Check-in was very smooth with warm greeting by staff. When we walked into our room, we , we're pleasantly surprised by the sheer size of the room. It's really huge (even bigger than their Website photos) and spotless clean. We've made the right choice. The breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choices and variety. It's very unlikely that you won't find what you like, ranging from vegetarian options to local delicacies. The swimming pool was great and well staffed. The Bali style garden was a nice place to chill out. Another attraction is their library facility. Books can be found everywhere in the lobby and waiting area. They even have a cafe cum library where you can spend some quality time. Overall, the hotel is s a gem. We'll definitely stay at Queena Plaza Hotel when we travel to the south of Taiwan again.

we went to queena plaza for our college classmate's wedding party. this room is very big for us. we have a four-month girl. they prepare additional baby-bed for our girl. we also visit ncku. the distance is about 15 mins by car. and the breakfast is pretty good. i like it.

Great Hotel if you want to stay in Tainan”
I think this is a great hotel. Although it's not in the downtown Tainan, it's about 20 mins of driving if you want to go to the tourism zone of Tainan. Great food and great price considering how good the hotel is. I will recommend the hotel to tourists who don't need to rush your schedule.

Queena Plaza Hotel”
We arrived in the hotel while a typhoon hit Taiwan. We didn't have a chance to enjoy the pool and garden within the hotel. They looked good, though. Service is wonderful. The hotel staff are willing to offer help anytime. The dinner buffet was excellent. Seafood was fresh and many dishes were served hot. The breakfast, however, was not so good. Some of them looked like from last meal. (I'm not sure.) The thing I didn't like most is this hotel didn't provide commute bus. We either could choose taxi or THSR Express operated by the government which goes around the whole Tainan city and takes an hour to the hotel. Taking a taxi, on the contrary, only takes half an hour.

Nice hotel, but overrated”
i enjoyed my stay, appreciated kindness of staff, shuttle to center of tainan, general cleanliness and the swimming pool. garden was beautiful, the streams and laguna need cleaning, however. as for standard, i would see the hotel rather in 4 star cathegory. all in all, i want to go back there again.

Good value, decent grounds, great breakfast buffet”
Was hoping to relax by the pool, but there was only 12 chairs for guests with typical Taiwanese holding chairs with bags while not being used. For the size of the hotel 12 lounger chairs is not enough. There is room for another 12 chairs at least. Aside from being let down by the pool facilities overall the hotel was very nice and they upgraded me for free.

Very Helpful Staff”
We're there for a friend's wedding. My sister left her sunglasses in the outdoor area of the hotel on the date of check out and the staff managed to help her find back her sunglasses and mailed back to her home address. Thanks for their assistance!

A nice hotel even though not a intl chain”
This is the first time I stayed in this hotel. Though it does not belong to an International Chain, it provides similar quality of hardware and services. The area is really peaceful. As a business traveler who wants to get close to the industrial area but staying in a quiet hotel, this is like an oasis.

Good breakfast, but the employees need more training ”
We reserved and requested a twin room. But they provided a double room which was connected by two beds. Despite that they agreed to change the room, they still can not make it right until the "3rd changes". And we just followed the server going up and down. Apparently, the employees need more training on room management. On the part of PROS, the breakfast is amazing and the room is clean.
