Dinner and breakfast are buffet style. High quality local ingredients, excellent variety of food including grilled seafood, tempura, sushi and sashimi. Hotel offers free snacks, coffee, juice and soft drinks. A complimentary beer can be enjoyed in the evening. Hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone going to Furano.

Best stay in Sapporo”

Our kids (1yo and 4yo) had so much fun staying there. The extra facilities (nappies, baby essential) and the free snacks just made the stay so much more enjoyable. The buffet dinner was so yummy and lots of variety. Will def go back to stay there again.

Expensive Old hotel”

Someone said it’s a kids friendly hotel. I found it only because of some snacks provided. The room is just nothing. It’s a very expensive hotel even not in peak season. I stay in the snowy owl room for 3 nights. All the breakfast and dinner are the same for 3 nights. And I don’t understand why they provide barbecue in indoor without exhaust fan. It’s soooooooo smoky in the restaurant. The floor is so oily and You can’t even breath normally. For the Onsen, it’s so small. And I can smell the gasoline in outdoor Onsen. I really feel bad for my 3 nights stay. And I will never come back.

That is great location with nice view, the opposite of the hotel is the ski location. Nearby also have convenience store and restaurant. The staff of the hotel is super friendly and sure will recommended this hotel.

Multi benefit hotel”

This hotel has so many small benefits for guests, like a 'firm contoured' pillow pool; special hours where you can avail yourself to a beer, or some noodles as refreshments. Super ski room - cos it hot and all your stuff will dry in no time. Buffet is so-so. Breakfast is full featured with strong bias for Japanese food vs more international fare. Best of all, just a few minutes walk to the gondola station at Kitanomine

Child friendly hotel across the ski slope”

I love everything about Naturwald. The location really across the ski slope. Easy access from Resort Liner & local bus. The facilities, nice public bath, nice breakfast. For child, they give you child utilities like cod, pots, small pajamas, even toys, books & playground. Will going back here again oneday.

Well Located Hotel for Kitanomine (Furano) skiing”

Excellent location (across the road) from Kitanomine gondola makes hotel perfect for skiing. Japanese style hotel with a little English (adequate) available from staff makes for a pleasant traditional Japanese stay. Hotel offers guest snacks, free drinks and good Japanese style breakfast (served from 7-9am precisely). Bus from Chitose airport stops at the entrance and is good value.

2 days not enough”

great place for people with kids. I stayed with my 9 year old. free 24 hour café corner with free hot chocolate and coffee and internet. we also tried the onsen which was opened 24 hr as well. free eye masks, face masks and cleansing oil and face creams that u take yourself from the reception area. liked the fact everyone came to breakfast wearing the same top and trousers that the hotel provided rather than own outdoor clothes- felt like having breakfast at home!! -they also provided smaller sizes for the kiddies and even slippers to go with it. breakfast was more Japanese but that was good. free bicycles for cycling around but too hilly. car is a must I think. I wished I had stayed longer!

Family Hotel with alot of freebies for kids and lady”

if you have kids even infant, this is definitely the right choice of hotel. free snack, potatoes, mashsmallow, ice stick and even a cup of beer if you are at the hotel at the right timing. Fun activity for kids like stamp collection at multiple spot within the hotel compound. Various pillow selection, free cosmetic and mask for lady and even some game set for kid to play. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed my stay there. Felt very welcomed by the staffs during my stay. Greatly appreciate Mr. Gareth for assisting us throughout our stay, giving good advices and recommendations. Facilities are great, amenities are plenty and generous. Welcome drinks, free dessert buffets, good Onsen, comfortable rooms. Will definitely come back again FOR SURE!

A nice place to stay”

The place is good, the room is ok. But the smell of the restaurant (probably frying food) spreads to the room, a little bit uncomfortable. But it is still a nice place to stay if you would like to visit here. Dinner is good, delicious!

Fantastic location and amazing service ”

This is a really quirky hotel the staff are wonderful nothing too much. Lots free nibbles although only enjoyable if you are a sugar nit. Location fantastic directly opposite the chair lift and ski lifts. Rooms are basic but comfortable and onsen brilliant. The atmosphere of the hotel is great friendly clean comfortable what more do you want great value. Great for ski hire and lift passes too.

Great hotel for family with children, kids corner, hot spring and many activities during stay”

Friendly staff, great location(very close to ski ropway while winter sking season, also easy accessible to Furano city center where variety choices of restaurants), complimentary sweets buffet is wonderful with live music performance, different events such as toasting mashmellows, snack time…wont make you boring during stay. Hot spring area small but well equipped with 3 kinds of spring. And the LED board next to elevator shows actual crowded situation of hot spring or breakfest restaurant, so that you can avoid the busiest time for using facility. The only disvantage is the only 2 lift for all customers in the hotel, but we enjoy so much with taking stairs which is very suitable for young children over 2.5 yrs old, and the photo exhhibition along with stairs is very interesting and profound with local history/knowledge. Super staying experience, will definately recommende to everyone who visit Furano with kids.

A warm and hospitable Hotel ”

It is actually a hotel with just one lift, a small onsen & a pretty small restaurant but it was so well managed that we felt so happy and satisfied, through the services & hospitality we received; pick your own additional essentials, complimentary beverage bar at anytime of the day & special servings of beer, desserts & ramen at different time of the day. The hotel is nicely decorated too, giving a cozy & homely feel. If I ever come to Furano again, I will definitely stay here!

Great hotel very near Kitanomine”

Hotel Naturwald Furano is traditionally Japanese. If you are a fan of everything Japanese, choose this hotel. It is very family-friendly. Majority of the clientele is Japanese. The Hokkaido Resort Liner from New Chitose Airport stops right outside the hotel (JPY4000). The local Lavender bus also stops outside the hotel and takes you downtown and to the train station (JPY160). Kitanomine ski zone, ski rental shops and ski schools are just 2 minutes away. The hotel room is big, well-equipped and comes with heater and air cooler (necessary for spring weather), mini-fridge, coffee/tea amenities, bath-tub, slippers, a multi-knob clothes hanger, nice comfortable bed and bedding, and Japanese cotton pantsuit that you can wear to lounge at the lobby or breakfast area, and even to the onsen. There are free beverages and snacks served at the lobby; great for hungry kids after a day out. Breakfast is served 0700-0900 and is awesome if you like Japanese food. Try the onsen.

Good family hotel with many facilities ”

Despite the old and small room, the rest of the facilities is really appreciated. complimentary drinks including beer, snacks, ramen and ice cream through out the day and night and the breakfast is really good too, there’s onsen too good in the cold winter day and location is convenient for ski area and bus stop to station is only Infront of hotel. Highly recommend if traveling with Children lots of activities for kids.

Excellent hotel for family”

All is great. Very good for skiers and family. Breakfast is faburous. Free food time during a day are very nice ie drink, beer, snack, night meal. It made us feel very warm welcome. Staff is very helpful ie suggest the activities, restaurant, book a bus and restaurant etc. Onsen is also great. Totally recommend this hotel.

Simply Awesome”

You will never go hungry here. They serve complimentary welcome snacks to supper and breakfast. All were good quality yummy food! A library and a pretty fun play area for the kids. Children amenities such as bumbo chairs, diapers and towels all provided. I will surely come back!
