Booked 2 nights on arrival in Dublin. Caught airport bus into Dublin O'Connell Street. Walked short distance into Parnell St and there it was. Room spacious enough with all requirements. Great lighting! Bed comfy and bathroom clean and modern. Continental breakfast more than expected. Staff assistance to this senior was just exceptional. 10/10 and 20/10 for your georgeous staff. I'll be back for my last 2 nights in Dublin to enjoy your bar too. Well done!
The rooms look nice in their pics but there were too many things wrong once we started using the room. The most important thing to me is how comfortable the room is. The bed was very hard. There were two very thin pillows. Even folding them in half wouldn't make them thick enough. I asked for extra pillows as soon as I noticed. Didn't help much. The room is so tiny that I had to inch my way awkwardly between the foot of the bed and the wall with the tv so I didn't knock the tv off the wall. The bathroom looks nice with its curved wall until you sit down on the toilet and one of your knees hits the curve of the wall. They have touch screen controls for the lights, the temp, the electronic "do not disturb" light, etc. That's great but the control panel is too low to read what the buttons are. And to top it off, the fire alarm went off at 7am one day. When I called the front desk, they said it was just a drill. No apology or anything...
I stayed for one night it was great. I was welcomed by the staff they explained everything I needed to know. The hotel itself is very safe, mostly everything needed key card access. Continental breakfast was great, fresh food and high hygiene standard’s. Room was very clean and spacious and had a safe and also chrome connecting television. Only issue I had was my location of room i am young female student and was on the basement level which had me slightly apprehensive as there was a lot of hustle and bustle outside my door and also above which did have me slightly on edge. Overall my stay was a 10/10. The staff, amenities, price and hygiene standard’s were all 10/10 and would happily return.
Just having arrived the city, and being completely new to it, I found that Google Maps kept wanting me to go down dirty, dodgey, and possibly dangerous alleyways to get to the hotel- eventually I saw a girl coming out so I dared to venture down and around eventually coming to the entrance of a rather modern and chic hotel. NOTE: The hotel is enveloped by dirty dingy and rather destitute alleys that I would not dare go into at night. To avoid this, stick to the Main road until you get to Parnell Street, or if you've got the funds- take a taxi when arriving with baggage. I took a shuttle that dropped me not so so close, but not too far- yet with baggage it seemed endless. One affordable option, from the airport, is take a shuttle to the closest drop off spot possible, THEN a taxi to the hotel- you can walk into any restaurant/pub/shop/hotel and I'm sure they would be kind enough to help you order one. Upon entering the hotel, I was greeted as a guest should be and check-in was simple enough. They were renovating at the time, so I had to go to another entrance, but the good news is they had that other entrance AND ELEVATORS! This is something I made sure was part of the facilities- Europe is old, so some places did not have elevators when I first traveled around it, so I made sure this "luxury" was part of the facilities. When I got to my room I was pleasantly relieved that everything was as expected, clean, modern, well designed and spaces were cleverly thought out. At first I did not realize what I thought to be a big headboard fixture, was actually an armoire of shelves- that was a nice surprise! However, as nice as the room was, I was always depressed in the morning- I had looked forward to being able to enjoy a nice cup of coffee in my room, looking out of my windows and enjoying some form of Dublin City sights... instead I had the dirty, decrepit and most depressing alley view and was forced to keep my curtains shut, which made me feel closed in. This may be something to think about if you are like me and enjoy looking out the windows while having a cup of tea or coffee in the morning- remember, with the exception of Parnell Street, the hotel is engulfed by alleys- big trash dumpsters, graffiti, dark dank dirty walls and streets... unsettling and depressing. However, if you typically keep the windows/curtains shut and never give views a thought, then this will not be an issue, and the hotel will be PERFECT! NOTE: If the views/area could be a deterrent, and you might consider other accommodation options, another thing to bear in mind is that Dublin is divided, by the river Liffey, into North and South... most attractions are found in the south, so depending on various factors this might be something to consider. Being Dublin is quite walkable, I was able to get to places with ease most of the time. If you can backpack and/or bring small rolling luggage, the better- I am on an extensive 5 week trip, so I need my big case, but if only travellings for 1-2 weeks, try to only bring what you need- you can buy everything else (toiletries) here. Breakfast- I honestly found the price for breakfast a bit high and preferred to just buy what I wanted while out and about. Usually a coffee and a yummy pastry was my go to, and usually around €5. I would recommend booking the room without breakfast and then paying for it on a daily basis, if you found it to your liking and budget. I've learned the hard way to always check it out first! Storing luggage: this hotel does store your luggage in a professional manner, with luggage tags for every piece you check, and only staff could access it. This was a total plus, as you may find (as I did) this is not always the case, and it's important to note it. My take away: Point A hotels are on par with hospitality, amenities, professionalism and cleanliness. The price point could come down at this location in Dublin, considering they are literally surrounded by dark and dirty alleys. Being I saved and

“Fantastic location”
My room was on the seventh floor, no view but very clean ideal for solo travel or couples , the room is on the smaller size but compact got everything you need very modern. I recommend having a breakfast, fully Continental full range of pastries and drinks very nice. But the location makes it a winner a couple of minutes from the tram tracks bus stops to travel the whole city if you wish. Tour buses just round the corner.. 10 minutes walk from most places to high-end shops lots of takeaways and restaurants, and temple bar is just the of the road. O’Connell Street.
