Expectations not met”

It was past midnight. I was given a room further down the hallway (2F), which is already occupied (what's the worst thing that could happen to an incoming or a sleeping guest than this?). The good news is, the occupant was fast asleep and the door was locked (door latch type) from the inside. Staff didn't believe me so instead of checking the records, we went back up to verify. Upon verification, we went down to reception to check the records, and found out the room is indeed taken. He blames a different colleague. Then I was given a new room, closer to the elevator. So up I went and find out that the key cards are not working. So down I went again, to be told the key cards are not yet activated. It was exasperating, having just arrived via train from Schiphol coming from a Madrid-Frankfurt-Amsterdam flight. Well, I was given a welcome amenity voucher, which I found in the morning to be a bottle of water or juice. Checkout was a different story.

Easy to find, friendly staff, parking at hand, very nice room, amenities available upon request, great bed, fast Wi-Fi, and on top of it a great breakfast buffet with really good breads. Only thing missing I could possibly think of is the buttermilk. It even has a great collection of coffee table books on art, design, fashion, cities, famous people, I could sit there all day. But then I shoulder miss our on the lovely environment of Arnhem, for example the huge statue of a reclining orange-brown Dodo right in front of the entrance, and what else Arnhem has to offer.

Definitely will recommend this hotel to friends. Strategic location in Arnhem centrum area, next door to the central station. Staffs are handy and helpful. Bed and pillows are good Room is clean. I like the liquid soap. Basic breakfast is served perfectly.

Just the right place”

Admittedly there is nothing fancy about the hotel but it's location is/was perfect for me. I was able to visit sites of historical significance without having to spend time getting to where I wanted to be. The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the train/bus station and 100+ meters from the river. This was perfect for me.

Für eine Städtetrip tolle Unterkunft mit guter Lage. Leider gibt es in dem Zimmer keinen Schrank, das ist aber der einzige Nachteil

city center but quiet (5-6 minute walk from the train station), clean rooms, ok for short stays. no fridge in the room, that I did not notice when booking, either drink warm water or go down to lobby for cold drinks

Kamer met mooie badkamer maar te kleine bedden. Geen koelkast, safe en er is geen roomservice........

We hebben er 2 super leuke dagen gehad. personeel erg vriendelijk. ontbijt service was perfect geregeld , ivm corona makkelijk avondeten te laten bezorgen in de lobby en werd je gebeld om het op te halen. super leuk weekend weggehad.. DE winkelstraat op 20 stappen van dit hotel de enige "maar" was dat we wel de geluiden van buiten erg hoorde dus een betere geluids isolatie zou een verbeterpuntje zijn!!

Alles wat je nodigt hebt is er, alleen geen bad. Wel midden in t centrum, vlakbij t station.

Leuk hotel, met een fijne, schone kamer. Bed en beddengoed was heerlijk! Supervriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, die het leuk vinden dat je er bent.
