Elios Hotel is very affordable, yet it offers excellent service and great value for money. We stayed in the Senior Superior Room, which was spacious and had a bed comfortable enough to fit four people. The internet was fast, and drinks were refilled daily. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Breakfast was generous, with a wide variety of dishes that changed daily. The buffet was always well-stocked, and the staff kept the tables clean and promptly cleared used plates. The location is very convenient — McDonald's and Burger King are right outside, along with several convenience stores. It’s also within walking distance of Taka Plaza, the red-light district, and Ben Thanh Market. Overall, I had a great experience at Elios Hotel and would definitely consider staying here again if I return to Saigon.
We are two female friends, stayed 3 nights. The room is spacious for the 2 of us, we did twin sharing. Especially since my last travel was to Japan, the room size here is a luxury. Even the shower room is spacious enough. It's not a new or 5 star hotel so you will find areas for improvement, maintenance or renovation. But I find it generally clean and kept. Basic amenities provided, towels, toothbrush, etc. You can have the room cleaned daily. Location wise, it is along a main road. There are bus stops nearby, though we walked or took Grab Car most of the time. Across the hotel is a park, also entrance to Central Market. Behind the hotel is nightlife of Bui Vien street, but the noise will not reach you. I booked this early so I got a really good rate and it comes with good breakfast.
I stayed in the Parkview room for a few nights. It was spacious and cosy with lots of natural sun light. The bed is comfortable - though the hotel could improve by providing different types of pillows as the ones provided are a bit too thick/hard. The buffet breakfast has a wide spread of selection and the view is magnificent. I have stayed here on multiple occasions and the recently found that there were too many deep fried dishes and they were very oily. The location is perfect. There are shops within metres of the hotel. The bus stops are a few minutes walk. The infamous walking street Bui Vien is 5 minutes away, yet, the rooms I have been in have been quiet and peaceful. Overall, Elios offers convenience and reasonable priced for a trip in Họ Chi Mình city.
The hotel has an excellent location and breakfast. The room was well furnished and clean for a budget property, though some of the bathroom fittings were a little rusted. They did upgrade my room and store my luggage for a long time. The main reason I dont recommend are as follows: - When I went into the first room I was allotted, I saw a lizard on the wall which to me was horrifying. The receptionist did change the room, but when I insisted she get the room checked, she said that there was no lizard in the first room, which was a lie. One of the staff members was nice enough to come and check the new room I was given, it was discovered that a window in the bathroom was kept open and so bugs and lizards could get in. This was sheer negligence. - The safe was working inconsistently in both the rooms I booked and there was a clear low battery sign. The maintainence person refused to change the batteries and we had to really push for this simple step. He actually had the batteries in his pocket. The hotel has a notice asking people to use the safe, but they have clearly not checked the safe batteries before issuing rooms to guests. - The hotel asks for guests to leave room keys at the reception, which I did. One day the receptionist argued for 7-8 minutes that my key was not with them, which was a blatant lie. After we kept insisting, they gave me my key and said it was in the section for another floor. It was late at night and most people would have taken their keys and gone to their rooms, it could not be so difficult to search the remaining keys. The city is compact and grab cars are cheap and readily available, one can look at a slightly less convenient location and get a hotel where argument is not necessary.
The hotel has an excellent location and breakfast. The room was well furnished and clean for a budget property, though some of the bathroom fittings were a little rusted. They did upgrade my room and store my luggage for a long time. The main reason I dont recommend are as follows: - When I went into the first room I was allotted, I saw a lizard on the wall which to me was horrifying. The receptionist did change the room, but when I insisted she get the room checked, she said that there was no lizard in the first room, which was a lie. One of the staff members was nice enough to come and check the new room I was given, it was discovered that a window in the bathroom was kept open and so bugs and lizards could get in. This was sheer negligence. - The safes were working inconsistently in both the rooms I booked and there were clear low battery signs. The maintainence person refused to change the batteries and we had to really push for this simple step. He actually had the batteries in his pocket. The hotel has a notice asking people to use the safe, but they have clearly not checked the safe batteries before issuing rooms to guests. The safes in both rooms worked fine once the batteries were changed. - The hotel asks for guests to leave room keys at the reception, which I did. One day the receptionist argued for 7-8 minutes that my key was not with them, which was a blatant lie. After we kept insisting, they gave me my key and said it was in the section for another floor. It was late at night and most people would have taken their keys and gone to their rooms, it could not be so difficult to search the remaining keys. Elios Hotel is excellent and value for money to stay in Ho Chi Minh City. Very clean, good staff and very sumptuous buffet breakfast with wide range of choices. The down side is that they don’t reply for special requests. I have stayed several times in this hotel and keep on coming. This time I came for a seminar and had requested Iron and Iron board in advance. Because for long journey suit gets crumpled and it needs to be ironed. I had requested in advance but neither they replied nor I got it when I arrived. I had to attend the seminar with crumpled suit. It cost very little and hotel must provide. It is just suggestion. Next time if I come to this hotel again I will be prepared.
Stayed here solo for 6 days. Staff were amazing and my room with no window on 11th floor was perfect. Clean modern great AC stairs to breakfast from 11ty floor which was served daily roof top views. Breakfast had everything you need even an egg station. Location is walking distance to most attractions if you like to walk 10 - 20 mins. The main walking street bars only 2-4 mins away. Plenty of massage parlours etc. heaps of 7/11 next to Eli's. A Burger King McDonald's coffee Bahn mi vendors and ATMs. Use the ATM inside Wayne's coffee you can withdraw large amounts. The atms outside higher fees. Would recommend to anyone
the breakfast buffet at their rooftop restaurant was awesome! around 30 different dishes and all tasted great. i especially loved the chicken fried rice and the chocolate croissant. location was great too. only 5-10 minutes from the main landmarks and ben than market. the tour we booked to cu chi tunnel also offered free pickup at the hotel lobby. also 5 mins walk to Walking Street and other nightlife. staff was also friendly. room was very clean and they cleaned everyday. also super close to two 7-elevens and fast food restos and ATM. would definitely book here again if we visit Saigon again!
Right next to banks, mcdo, burger king, 7/11, spa and 3-5mins walk to bui vien ! Nice hotel staff, breakfast and fairly clean! Check in was a breeze even though it was 3am. You’ll think the hotel is closed or something because there’s no lights midnight but you just need to come and the staff will wake up(very chill workplace😆) you just need to show your passport then they’ll give you the key immediately, Would definitely choose this hotel again when i come back to ho chi minh city✨❤️ although you have to always turn on the do not disturb button or they will automatically come and clean your room when you’re not inside.
We had a really great stay herel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was very relaxing after a long day. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making the whole experience smooth and hassle-free. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby restaurants and attractions. The breakfast was also good, with a nice selection to start the day. Overall, it’s definitely worth the price, and I would gladly stay here again!

The hotel is located at a very strategic location in district one. It is less than 1KM away from the infamous Bui Vien Walking Street. The hotel is also very close to famous places like Ben Thanh market, independence palace and war remnants museum. I was very fortunate to book this hotel at a very reasonable price which is inclusive breakfast for three. I booked it when there was a huge price drop. I booked this hotel nine months in advance. The hotel housekeeping staff are very professional as they always change my towels everyday as compared to my previous hotels which I stayed. As I would hang up my towel, and the staff would assume I don't need to replace the towels. Many westerners stay in this hotel. Thus, the breakfast offers a huge spread. From western to Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. They have an omelette counter where the cook will cook your eggs with three choices. Which are, omelette, sunny side up, and scrambled eggs. They also offers different Vietnamese noodles which you need to order every morning. My room has a huge window which faces the park, I have a very nice view every morning to enjoy the view of the city. The room is huge too. The only downside is that the furnishing in this hotel is rather outdated. Other than that, I will give this hotel a five star experience with a 3 star price tag. If the price is reasonable, I will book this a room with this hotel again.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The location is absolutely perfect—central, convenient, and within walking distance of major attractions, shops, and restaurants. The rooms were clean, spacious and well maintained. Great value for the quality of room and service. The staff were incredibly helpful and very friendly, always ready with a smile and willing to assist with anything I needed, from directions to local recommendations. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to return. Highly recommended!
Stayed for a day. Decent hotel. Clean and maintained well. Breakfast is fine. Early checkin is possible but she asked quite a lot of amount that too for 1-2 hours before 2pm which sounded very ridiculous. Fun fact - if you want to early check in, you need to book something from them some day tour, then you can early checkin. Walkable to Bui Vien street and Ben Thanh market. So extremely super location. Other than this earlycheck in or late check out looting, rest is pretty good regarding the hotel.
I like this hotel very much. No negative comments. Although it facing a busy street, I didn't hear any traffic noise (from the 11th floor). Breakfast has various pastries and mostly Asian food. Western food is limited. Room is spacious and clean. Convenient location, near many restaurants and city center. I visited HCMC many times and stayed at various 3 star-hotels. This one is the best over all. I like the rooftop breakfast/restaurant the best.
Location: 2.8/5- the place is located approx 20-30 mins from tan son naht international airport; situated in a bit dirty area but there are a lot of fast food around the area Staff: 4/5- the staff are very helpful they speak decent amount of english and you can really understand them speak as well; at night debit/credit card system is not available to MAKE SURE TO BRING CASH WITH YOU Facilities and Amenities: 3.2/5- the lobby smells like moth balls but looks clean and organize; ROOM- smells like moth balls; it has a distinct odor that smells like fart or barf. We had to spray the entire room just to get rid of the smell; bath room has basic amenities but all are in working condition; it is clean as well. It has an empty fridge; Food-4/5- food is good, they offer local and western dishes. Overall: will “somehow” recommend this place but if you are like me who is more into better hotel experience, there are a lot of hotels that has better deals and facility.

One slight concern was - Management was looking to extract money from the customers on EVERYTHING. a) early check-in is charged; even if the rooms are readily available, customers are made to wait after their long flight because of this money minded policy b) Late check-out is also charged. c) Reception staff try to sell over-priced tour packages. negotiate rate well, else you will end up paying more. d) There is a huge rate list inside the room on how much each item in the room is chargeable, if taken or mishandled. Have never seen something like this in all my years of travel. I was afraid to use even the slippers e) Normal room key card is also chargeable, if unreturned. f) I ran out of water in the middle of the night, reception staff directed me to the nearby super market and did not even care to offer a small bottle of water. Money mindedness over everything else. but to reiterate, the food and location are excellent. rooms are adequate. But I found this overall money mindedness in everything very bothersome.
We had a pleasant stay overall. The hotel was clean, in a great location for walking around, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was also very nice and appreciated by our family. However, one important issue significantly affected our experience. We specifically searched for a hotel with a swimming pool for our family, and this hotel showed up in the results. There was even a photo of a pool on the Agoda listing. But when we arrived, we were told there was no swimming pool, and the receptionist mentioned they had already asked Agoda to remove that photo—yet it was still there at the time we booked. I emailed Agoda on April 29, 2025, to raise this concern, but as of May 14, I have not received a resolution. This was disappointing, especially since it was a key factor in choosing this hotel. I hope Agoda updates the listing soon to prevent other families from being misled.

We stayed for 2 nights at Elios Hotel, Saigon. The hotel gets a 5 star for the location because all major sight seeing attractions and shopping places are within walking distance. The breakfast spread is balanced and has lots of options for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Rooms and bathroom is spacious and comfortable.

Surely a good choice if you want to be in the center of all happenings. Spacious and clean room and friendly staff made our stay in HCM a joy. We will surely return. As vietnamese people say "mười điểm".
The hotel keeps up with the rooms and even though they are small sized rooms, they are very clean! The breakfast buffets have good variety of selections, and location is central and walking distance to local shops, restaurants, and the 9/23 park across the street!
This was my second stay at Elios Hotel, and once again it didn’t disappoint. I stayed for 3 nights and felt just as comfortable and welcomed as the first time. The location is excellent, the rooms are clean and cozy, and the staff are consistently friendly and helpful. It’s one of those places you return to knowing you’ll get great value and a hassle-free stay. Definitely a hotel I’m happy to come back to.

Hotel was very beautiful interior and exterior both . Rooms were very large i got the senior superior twin room it was arranged beautifully .Bathroom were neat and clean hotel staff clean the room and bathroom every day. All the staff members were very helping . Location was great and hotel gives buffet breakfast .

The accommodation is like a 5 star hotel for me. From the receptionist on morning shift are very kind, greeting with their welcoming atmospheric smiles. The room itself is sparkly very clean. The buffet breakfast tastes so delicious with a mix of cuisines + a skydeck view of the city. The doorman even helped us with our luggages and im very thankful for that. Very good hotel. Clean room, efficient room services, changed and cleaned room daily. Top floor Sky restaurant breakfast buffet had many options. Had dinner as well . Al carte. Tasty and good portions. Overall 5 stars services . Will recommended to any one . The location of the hotel very convenient and close to famous Ben Thanh Market. And very close to other places of interest like saigon post office , Cathedral, reunification building , war Remanant Museum at Grab taxi 30k to 40k vnd.
We truly appreciate the services they have provided during our 6 nights stay. We were able to check-in early since there is already an available room at 12nn. The breakfast buffet is good especially with freshly cooked eggs upon order. Good variation of breads, beverages, savory dishes and fruits. They allowed to leave our luggages securely within the hotel premises even after checking out so that we still have time to go out and take some last minute shopping and dining within the city before our flight home. The view in the roofdeck is refreshing since there is a garden in front and cityscape on the side. It is a good experience overall even though the hotel itself is not that new and a bit old fashioned by design.
The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants, park, walking street and convenience stores. The room is big & clean, bed is comfortable. Buffet breakfast has a great selections to choose from. I love their coffee. I will choose again this hotel if ever i will visit HCMC in the future.
