Unbeatable Location”

Directly across road from Kitanomine chair lift this really offers unrivalled ski in access at this price point. Pension Young House was comfortable (my bedroom had two single beds. bedside table with two power outlets, two seater lounge, small desk with TV and electric kettle with storage for small bag underneath and a coat rack with four hangers. The room was perfect for my eight night stay and was decidedly bigger than friends who were staying in a 4 star establishment nearby. The shared bathroom/toilet was nearby and was spotlessly clean. Adjacent is a large fridge/freezer (shared with all residents) and microwave oven. A 7 Eleven store is a short walk away. The shower/onsen room was a winner with me, the onsen being the perfect way to end the day and is located on the lower level and has limited hours (morning and evening times). Laundry facilities and a drying/ski storage room round off the features. Would I return/recommend ? Absolutely

Excellent budget lodge with perfect location for skiing”

Takeda San and his wife are friendly and keeping the premises cleanly. The shared facilities are adequate and they're up to 2-star rating. The hot tub is excellent after a tired ski day. The location is amazing, just few minutes from the chair lift. You can have a lunch break or a quick nap at the hostel then back to the snow field without loosing much time. The Prince Hotel shuttle bus can drop you off in front of the property or at the Naturwald hotel few metres in the right. The ski dryer room is large and it has a good size tuning table ath middle. The only down I think is the lacking of a communal area So overall, if the skiing is the main priority then this properly is the best for its value. I don't hesitate to come back there again. One extra note: Mr Takeda is a speed skiing trainer so he might be able to help if you're interested in that area. I met him couples times in the mounting training local Japanese speed racers.

Location, Location, Location ”

Without doubt the trump card here is location. Hokkaido Resort liner, Chuo Bus, Lavender Bus stop 10 meters from front door. Lift access straight across the road. Reminds me of staying at a ski club. Second visit . Can’t beat at this price point. Friendly staff, Onsen a real bonus.

Typical pension”

Everything you expect in a pension, although there was no light in the women’s changing area in the communal bath. Comfortable stay.

Nice cosy environment”

A nice cosy /family feel environment. Good for winter as across the street have ski area.

Worse experience!”

Not worth for money! The pension is not well maintained. Personally I think that this is the worse pension I've stayed so far for Hokkaido trip. If you don't mind to take a shower together with a stranger, you may go ahead to try it. Worse thing is you can only access to shower morning 6AM to 7AM and evening 3PM to 10PM!

Not recommend this place. Only one toilet for men shared for 16 rooms. We got small and thin towel for shower. It was noisy when walking because the floor is wooden.

整體都還蠻舒服的，但房間的霉味很重，就算開了冷氣也消不太去，走廊地板在有人經過時會發出一點聲音，如果只是要過夜的話，算是可以接受的。
