Luxurious for the price, and breakfast was good. Although I stayed for 3 days and the breakfast was the same every day, overall there were many options and it was good. The location was of course good, and the staff greeted and guided me kindly. They were very friendly. The room was also clean and neat. Highly recommended ^^

Best hotel ever stayed ”
Really nice hotel. Airport mrt is just diagonally across. So it’s easy to find hotel once we came out of mrt exit. Hotel is linked to a mall just right beside. Food was easy to find. And the plus point was the mrt to other areas is just underground. Very easy for us to access as I went with my elderly parents. Definitely a place I would stay again

The hotel decoration is grand classic. the hallway lighting is little dark and it lead to a cozy room with balcony and open view to courtyard. I enjoy my stay very much. The Gym, swimming pool and the friendly and helpful staff were beyond my expectation. The location and restaurants and shops nearby was great. The only downside was the restaurant at the 6fl, I order a glass of house wine and it was old. I returned the wine and the wine server seems confused and don't know they should not serve wine that was open for two days. I ordered a bottle and selection was limited. I will come back and stay at the hotel again.

Everything is good. Except this time round, all vanity kit such as comb, shower cap etc will only be provided when requested and the tooth brush and tooth paste need to go to lvl 5 concierge to collect it. Making things a little inconvenient as compared to previous stay.

1st class customer service and superb location”
Booked room for 1 night stay to celebrate wife’s birthday and got a pleasant surprise at check in. Room was upgraded and was given a complimentary birthday tart with a personalized card. Hotel is located above a shopping mall and directly connected to Taipei Main Station. However room could do with more lighting as it is rather dark even with all lights turned on, I believe because the hotel theme is based on medieval era. Overall had a very good experience and would highly recommend to anyone who is visiting Taipei to stay at Palais de Chine.

This stay was booked at a discounted price, so I didn't have high expectations. However, the overall atmosphere and comfort were better than I imagined. The location is convenient, and the staff are enthusiastic and attentive. The only downside is that the furniture in the room, such as the chairs, could be more comfortable. Also, the voltage indicated on the wall outlets was incorrect, but fortunately, I called to confirm. Overall, the location is convenient, the decoration is thoughtful, and the service is good. However, some management details should be improved to make guests feel more at ease.

The receptionists on the first and sixth floors are very friendly, and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The location is excellent for out-of-towners. If you want to stay in Taipei after checking out, you can safely leave it to the receptionist on the first floor. Before leaving with your luggage, the receptionist said, "Welcome back next time," which was very heartwarming. The experience was very good.

Great location , as it is located just above the Taipei bus metro station. it is easily access to the 4 main transportation(railway, HSR, bus & airport metro) that commuters and travelers yield for. Rooms are big and clean. Room is rather dim with lights but i guess that is the uniqueness of the hotel concept? Gym isnt rather well-equipped and signboards are rather confusing, probably due to the dim lights that the hotel is using. Nevertheless, its worth for a stay since its location is central of taipei

Beautiful hotel, intriguing lighting and ambiance, (think old castle with mirrors, dim lighting,) with high overall standard. Good food, but what we were left with, was a very high impression of the staff! Excellent from arrival till departure! They are the reason we will book there again next time we are in town! We were on a tight schedule to take a plane from Taipei train station. With the flight being early, we were a bit anxious. The hotel provided comfortable room with reasonably cleanness and friendly staff service. We were set to a good mood heading to the airport. By the way, the hotel room we stayed was very quiet and hence we had a good sleep.

Only reasons will stay there is for location and accessibility to taipei station and mitsukoshi nearby. Friendly and helpful concierge at ground floor. Rooms are dark themed though Note: Xinyi is the IN place now. Not taipei station
