Best hotel ”

The staff are so humble and nice , they will help you too if you need anything! The room was so very nice and clean, and the view outside balcony was super duper nice.. Always wanted to stay there ..

Rooftop pool was in maintenance”

The staff is very kind and the room is very clean and with modern and elegant design. However the rooftop pool was one of the sales point and one of the reason we booked this hotel and it was in maintenance so we could not use it....have to say it was a huge disappointment

Great location and room!”

This is my second time staying at Oile and as my first experience was great I decided to stay for 5 nights this time. The location is perfect, next to Araha beach with many options for restaurants in the area. You can also rent a bicycle for free and be able to get around and go to the American Village easily too. You get an amazing view from the rooftop which also has a pool. Unfortunately they had a problem and I couldn’t use the pool for almost my all stay but I still could enjoy it on my last day. The only thing that was a minus in this stay was one particular Japanese staff at the front desk that was not rude but very serious and no smile at all… I asked in the night before if we could have the breakfast a little early as we were leaving at 7:45 from the hotel and the other staff said that it was possible but in the morning this Japanese staff said we only could get it when our car arrive as take out was not permitted (note that you can take it to your room so eating in or out it’s the same. And in my last stay it was possible) She let us have it but It was a very awkward situation as she wanted to “hide it” from the other customers. But it was already 8 when we got the breakfast so no need to do it anyways…. I understand she was doing her job but other people were also complaining about her so it wasn’t just me feeling bad about her attitude.

We stayed as a married couple during the Golden Week holiday. The Positives: The room itself had a nice modern design and was comfortable. The room was clean upon arrival and we were able to check in early without any issues. The hotel is in a great location, very near a nice park with a beach, and within walking distance from American Village. Great location! There is a nice pool on the roof with amazing views all around. Unfortunately it was raining and cold when we were there so it wasn’t usable. I’m sure it’s great in the summer though. The hotel has free bicycle rentals which we took advantage of to explore the coastline around Chatan. They were convenient to have available. The breakfast was just okay with an assortment of croissants and coffee. Not bad but nothing memorable. The Negatives: My biggest complaint is that I was told room cleaning and fresh bedding is only available after a guest stays for 7 consecutive days. I don't need my room cleaned every day, but I think once in 7 days for clean sheets is not acceptable. This hotel is not super expensive but it isn't cheap either. At the price I paid, if I request clean sheets, I want clean sheets. It’s as simple as that. I even had to take the garbage from my room down to the front desk myself. I’m sorry but that isn’t good enough. Furthermore, I think the hotel should make their room cleaning/bed making policy very clear on websites like Agoda. Let the potential guest decide if cleaning only once every 7 days is enough. For me it's not. I would go back if it was for only 1 or 2 nights but not more than that due to the cleaning issue. The manager, a very nice French gentleman, explained that they have the policy due to Covid but I still want my sheets changed at least after 2 nights. The End. Warnings: The building is completely non-smoking and management seems quite concerned about this with signs posted in numerous locations in the room and in public areas that guests would be fined a lot of m

I love that this hotel has all rooms beach view :) the roof top pool offers the most amazing view and the fact that it's so close to Araha beach, make it my favorite hotel in the area. The staff is super friendly and you can also get bicycles to use during the day which is amazing :)

I had a wonderful time here. Thank the hotel for arranging me a good room. the free bike loan service (from 8am to 8pm) has been great for solo travelers like me who don't know how to drive. The location of the hotel is also great, between the beach and the American village - two of my favorite places here. It would be better to have more makeup remover and moisturizer and nightgown bathrobe. I was wondering do I need to pay extra to use that service? staff is not really friendly to me. Or they just do the right thing they have to do without smile. but I still look forward to coming here again. ありがとうございました。^^

Overall, I had a great experience with the Olie by DSH resort!! Staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to enjoy my Okinawa trip! Unfortunately, the hotel pool will be available from April, so I'd like to try it the next time I visit there!

Great Spot for Great Price”

The room size was perfect for my husband and I the view and balcony very cozy and beautiful. Short walk to American Village and other restaurants along the East China Sea! Wish the pool would’ve been open but due to weather and off season maintenance it was closed. But beautiful rooftop view.

Very well designed hotel, great views, friendly staff. The only disappointing point was that the pool and pool bar were not open at this time, which was a shame.

Perfect location and super clean room”

I love this place. Super location and best views you can get. As in front of hotel is just a parking, even if you get lower floors you will have a sea view :)

Staff are wonderful, Room is great”

This was our second time to use this hotel. Beginning with the manager, Olivier, all the staff members were very friendly. They helped us out with some things that they did not have to do. We borrowed bicycles, used the on-site washing machines, enjoyed the room and breakfast. Wonderful experience again.

Cozy room”

The floor of the room is Japanese tatami, and the shelf are made of wood. You feel comfortable with those furniture and feel at home. The room is very clean.

Modern hotel, Stylish feel, Friendliest staff”

Absolutely had a great 3-night stay at Oile. 1-block set back from Araha Beach (sea/beach views) and convenient access to the beach/parks/cafes/bars, yet peaceful and quiet location. Friendliest staff. What blew me away was the fantastic room décor (modern!) and furnishings. There's a quaint roof-top pool and lounge area with spectacular views. Because it was February "winter," the pool wasn't open as it was Okinawa "cold" with on/off rain; but still had a roof top drink with chilly and beautiful sunset views! When I return for another Okinawa mini-vacation, I'd definitely stay at Oile again.
