Truely cheap budget hotel”
So i booked a room, intended for only 1 night stay. came with wife, and 2 kids (5 and 2 yrs old). clean room, linen also clean, quiet as well. Was surprised that the toilet actually is shared toilet (i did not specifically look if the toilet is actually in the room when i book), but even so, the toilet is also very clean and tidy. Definitely recommended if you are only looking for a night to sleep, and ok with having shared toilet.

We booked the room at GEM only to freshen up after visiting Legoland. Did not stay overnight. Clean room clean toilet come with toiletries and towels. AC and TV. Really value for money. 👍👍👍

comfortable, clean, facilities are beyond the amount you are paying. Ample parking, not too crowded area, makan pun senang. Less than 10 min drive to/fro Legoland and other shopping mall (AEON/TESCO)

Decent Hotel Away From City”
Stay : 30 - 31st August 2021. Room No : 306. Location : The hotel is located 17km away from JB City Centre. However it is located right in the heart of new JB City in Kota Iskandar. The nearest Mall will be Sunway BigBox and Aeon Bukit Indah. It is hardly accessible by bus or taxi. Reception : The Indian lady is very kind. The check in process is very smooth and quick. She gave easily understandable isntruction. Cleanliness : EXCELLENT. Room : I booked a deluxe room without bathroom. It is located right in front of my room. The room is very comfy and the tv is working well. Recommendations : Totally will recommend this to any simple traveler.

We have booked 2 bunkers room with shared bath but GEM boss upgraded us to another nearby hotel with 2 singles and 1 king bed & bathroom attached, the GEM front desk guy also very friendly and helpful. Thanks GEM boss with such arrangement but we didn't stay overnight, just stopped by for some rest and refresher. Everything is good about the hotel, definitely much value for money.

Cheap price but need improvement ”
The price is the cheapest at this area. But the cleanliness need to be improved. They are long term residents stay in this hotel at 3rd floor where kids are around, making noise running here and there at corridor. Smokers are staying at there too for long term.. I also doubt whether do they clean and change the bedsheet as some are smelly. Overall, because of cheapest price, I think still acceptable.
