Meguminoyu offers simple Japanese-style accommodations with wooden floors. Guests can relax in the ganbanyoku hot stone spa and use the free on-site parking. Guests sleep in Japanese futon bedding on wooden floors. Each comes with air conditioning/heating facilities, a TV and an electric kettle. The en suite bathroom includes a hairdryer. Meguminoyu Inn is a 25-minute drive from Farm Tomita and Furano Ski Resort Kitanomine Zone. Furano Cheese Factory is a 20-minute drive away. The ganbanyoku hot stone spa is available between 15:30 to 21:30, and guests must make a reservation at time of booking. Sleepwear is provided and guests must inform the hotel of their clothing size at the time of booking as well.

Hospitality at it's best”
Megumi was the most charming and thoughtful hostess that we had in Hokkaido. Her inn is located about 10 minutes drive from Furano city center with paddies all round. The views are magnificent, the house very well heated and room small, but comfortable futons (with option of double futons for those not used to tatami living) and a windowsill table overlooking the mountain range. There is a very small but very clean and fully equipped ensuite (with a bathtub) and a hot stone spa experience which the family can enjoy. Breakfast is simple but plentiful and fresh. The location is a little tricky to find. We keyed in the phone number into the GPS system and it took us near to the house but not to it, we decided to make a right turn by chance and recognised her inn. Megumi is always ready to receive a call from her guests who are arriving to come and look for them on the road. My advice would be to have pictures of her inn handy when around the area.

This was by far the best accommodation throughout my trip. Location was good, around 15 mins drive to Farm Tomita. Accessible using Google Maps which brought us to the exact location. Roads in Furano was very dark so do be careful and arrive before dark if possible. 7 eleven was 5 mins drive away. Host was extremely friendly and helpful with considerably good english. There were not many shops around and they only open at 10am. Fortunately we included breakfast with freshly picked home grown vegetables. It was amazing and most enjoyable. Highly recommended stay.

Not the usual hotel. This homestay provides excellent service and experience. Make time to enjoy the spa! Breakfast was exceptional, everything was homecooked by hostess and family. Much better than the usual buffet breakfast served at big hotels. location is great for getting around to visit the farms during the summer lavender/sunflower season in Furano. Try to get there before dark, rental cars with outdated GPS may not get you there exactly, but a call to hostess should resolve it. Will stay again. Recommend.

Great staff Delicious home made breakfast Very nice sauna Not so comfortable having the shower in other house, so if it's raining or very cold night it will be not so comfortable. Megumi, the owner is very kind and welcoming. I would recommend my friends.

It was a great stay. The room and in-room toilet were clean and spacious. Owner recommended a few great restaurants and we loved the shabu shabu recommendation. Oh this property only accepts cash on arrival.
