The hostel is few minutes walk from the peace memorial park. Really nice staff. The place is clean. They provide free brewed coffee and tea, even some free food for everyone. Will absolutely stay here again.

Exceptional”
Location is just across the bridge from Peace Memorial Park. There’s no elevator so you could maybe request a room on one of the lower floors if you don’t want to climb the stairs all the time. Rooms are very clean, as well as the shower, sinks and toilets. The walls between rooms are thin so if you’re sensitive to the slightest noise, maybe bring earplugs or stay somewhere else because you will be hearing the neighbors. There was also construction going on at the building opposite so it gets loud in the daytime. There’s only staff at the reception when checking in, so make sure you advise them when you’ll arrive.

I haven’t stayed in any other hostels in Hiroshima. But I felt like this one was great for the price and close to everything(memorial park, dome etc.) Definitely recommend staying here if you are staying for one night!

10 Years between visits, still excellent”
I last visited J-Hoppers 10 years ago and was slightly reluctant about returning after falling out of love with Hostels. J-Hoppers Hiroshima, however, is such a clean, friendly and fun place to stay that it is hard not to want to return to my youthful days of backpacking across Asia. The mixed dorm that we stayed in was very clean, thankfully we had respectful and quiet guests staying with us and the bed spaces are big enough and surprisingly comfortable. As always, the staff was extremely helpful and with the hostels perfect location near to some of the city's most important sights, it really is a fantastic place to stay for all ages.

Booked J hoppers hostel at the last minute. It was great value. Roughly 3000 yen for a private room with shared bathroom. Came to the hostel a little early prior to check in time and they were able to slot me in. Check out was a breeze and they have bicycles for hire. Which was great given how much ground I covered in a short period of time. Would recommend.

Homely, good all-rounder, good value”
Slept in the dorms, the sleeping spot itself was big for the price, and was made to be a hole-in-the-wall rather than a "capsule" and one were to simple make their own futon to sleep in. Facilities felt homely and were clean, sinks on every floor, you can line-dry your clothes on the roof, living room is cosy, etc.

Great stay and worth the money”
1. The guesthouse is located only 5min walking distance from the nearest Hiroden (streetcar) station - Dobashi. Nearby there is a super market which sell almost everything basic that we needed. Walkable to Hiroshima Peace Park with 10 to 15min walking distance. 2. Common area is great, a comfortable sofa and a big dining table, and well arrange and clean kitchen. 3. Bunk bed in this guesthouse is consider big compare to others. Very comfortable futon (double layer), and I had a thick blanklet to cover me thru the cold autumn night. You can bring extra luggage lock to lock your precious belonging in the storage area in your bunk. 4. Guesthouse receptionist is very friendly and they speak well English. 5. There is a room to store you bug luggage. I am allow to store the luggage before check-in time. 6. Total of 5 individual bathroom in the premise. If the bathroom on your floor is occupied, you can go up or down to use other vacant bathroom. 7. During my stay, I had a quite roommate. The room is fully occupied yet everyone was quite and respect the room rules. 8. Overall great stay and great value. Highly recommended to everyone who consider to choose this GuestHouse. Thanks!

Compared to other guesthouse where I have stayed, j-hoppers provides the largest space for individual's bed. It was confortable and clean ! There is also a classic-style lounge that i could take a rest. Highly recommanded for indie traveller:)

Clean Guesthouse Location Close to Major Tourist Spots”
The Guest house is close to major tourist spots (A Bomb Dome and Peace Memorials, etc.). The guesthouse is clean and staff very helpful giving good recommendations on good food to eat in Hiroshima. Check out time at 11am just nice for morning walk to the Dome, Peace Park and visit the Peace Memorials Hall then get back to Hostel to check out! Will stay again if visit Hiroshima in future!

I had good time here, even my checking time was so late and the reception was closed, but they send me information and I could get in my room and checking in next day ~^^~ The room is so good, dormitory type but you will have your privacy space and it's really good!! I enjoyed my stay here ^^ the staffs was very friendly and kind, they also sell Hiroshima 1 day pass in this hostel, that was relief since i no need to move to another place to buy the pass ^^ Strong recommendation!

Love female dorm tatami style~”
I stayed in 2 types of dorm, mixed n female dorm. Mixed dorm is mainly flooded with guys, so you can expect the smell of sweat and etc, ventilation not that good. Female dorm is perfect, tatami style, comfy bed, spacious. Walking distance to the Hiroshima atomic museum. Quiet surrounding. Many food at the Main Street, just 5 mins walking.

Awesome hostel, really cosy”
I enjoyed everythinng about this hostel. It's very cosy. I stayed in a dorm that was comfy and I had enough soace for my stuff. The kichen is clean and has everything you need to cook, make coffee, etc. The location is very good and the staff super friendly. I'll go back for sure if I visit Hiroshima again!

Excellent guesthouse ”
I was pleasantly surprised by this place from the moment I arrived. It is one of the cleanest guesthouses I’ve ever been to. It has plenty of facilities and a myriad sources of information for tourists. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We had a double room which was in ryokan style. The room was spacious and had a low Japanese style table with two big sitting pillows. We enjoyed it a lot.

This is a great guesthouse with very clean rooms, a soft bed, and fast Internet. The staff were great with excellent English skills and I found this hotel to be an excellent place to stay. If I am in the area again, I would definitely stay here again. I strongly recommend you stay here.

Comfortable guesthouse with friendly staff. The area it is in isn’t particularly interesting but it’s only a very short walk to the peace park and then to the nightlife area after that. Wifi in the room is a little weak, but you can get a LAN cable to use with the port in the room if you need to
