Buon hotel, struttura nuova
Staffs are friendly and helpful, fast check in and check out process. The location of hotel is just next to Rumah Lahir Mahathir, parking space is available in front of the hotel. The room provides basic facilities and amenities, especially with a hairdryer is a plus, however, there are small ants forming a path noticed on the wall near bathroom, we don’t eat or drink sweet beverages in the room worry will attract more ants, luckily the ants not coming to the bed. There is only 1 bottle all in 1 shampoo in the bathroom, if want more than basic cleansing need to prepare own. There is 1 nasi lemak stall at night in walking distance, long queue every evening and taste good. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this hotel when visiting Alor setar.

With 11 rooms on each floor, as informed by the staff, the hotel offers a cozy and manageable size, ensuring personalized attention to guests. Well-Equipped Solo Traveler Room I stayed in a solo traveler room, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well-equipped it was. The room included a window, providing natural light, as well as a table and chair, which were perfect for working or dining. Additional amenities included a jar kettle, glasses, complimentary bottled water, and coffee. The television provides MyTV channels and YouTube, Netflix channels. Although the safe was not functioning, it did not detract from the overall comfort of the room. The hotel is located next to Rumah Kelahiran Mahathir, a notable tourism spot, adding cultural and historical value to the stay. Overall Experience Overall, my stay at Super 8 Hotel in Alor Setar was highly satisfactory. The combination of a convenient location, helpful staff, and well-appointed rooms made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Despite the minor issue with the non-functioning safe, the room was well-equipped and met all my needs as a solo traveler. I would recommend Super 8 Hotel to anyone visiting Alor Setar, especially those looking for a central location with good amenities.
