Fantastico
It's location is great, just beside SM CDO. The price is also affordable, especially when you are travelling in groups. With it's price, you can't expect a spacious room. It's best if you intend to just spend the night over. Also, I don't like the location of the side table within the room. It's been attached to the wall just beside the bed. We could hardly pass through because it's blocking the way. The children even bumped their heads accidentally on it. We had a bad experience with the facilities. The water suddenly stopped while I was having a shower. We called the reception office for assistance. They are highly responsive to concerns. Yet, I waited for about 20-30 inside the bathroom before the water came back. Also, the door on my brother's room was not functioning well. They were stuck inside right after we checked in as they could not open it. We had to call the reception to have it fixed. Another is they do not have a complimentary water bottle offered each room. They have a water dispenser in the ground floor and you have to bring your own bottle to get water. I also worry about security. Most of the time, they only have one staff in the reception to entertain incoming and outgoing guests, no guards. No one was checking the bags and the people coming in and going out of the establishment. You can even get in through the elevator straight from their parking.

Location is best because I need not transfer to another location for the trip to the Laguindingan Airport as the public transportation is available beside the hotel. The restaurant at the ground floor offers good food; it is often fully-booked. Also, malls are just around the area making shopping very convenient. The rooms offer basic amenities (I don't mind having no closet, by the way) but they are equipped with a ceiling fan, which is not available in other hotels of the same class. My senior-aged Mom hates aircon, hence, the ceiling fan is a good alternative. If booked early, prices are offered very reasonably. The Red Planet Hotel is always the first option every time I plan to visit CGY.

Arrived late so we parked outside the building . Location is very good since its beside SM. Hotel is clean and check in was seamless, friendly staff and they allowed us to have connecting rooms.

The room is really clean. The location is great because it beside SM Cagayan. Gauisano Mall and Ayala Centrio is also walking distance. The staffs are very welcoming.

“Short stay”
Despite a short stay of just 2 nights, i can say the stay was pleasant. Its super close to SM Downtown making it soooo convenient and accessible. Room is ok as well with good aircon, strong water supply and clean. I'd love to stay again someday.
