The day of my check in it's just so happened that I came in early. To me I was greeted with disappointment in their faces with a fake smile 🫤 because I came in early for my booking, I asked if I could check in early and with no hesitation they said no early check in, so I asked how much if if I checked in early and pay extra, and she said yes there's a charge for that (the female receptionist is not smart at all with the conversation). I asked if I can pay qr cashless? She/They answered "naku sir Yung device namin sira Yung LCD for tapping/scanning QR 🙄". I've got no problem paying cash but for me seems so convenient paying cashless. They sent me to the room to which is bad no remote for their Split type AC. I used the Bathroom room toilet but the flush is weak and the bidet is not working. I called the reception using the phone, A guy answered, I asked if they can bring in a pail and a tabo because the flush in my room is weak and the bidet is not working and also there's no remote for their AC. The Guy responded and will just transfer me to a different room(That's why I gave Him on behalf of the 5star points). I requested for utensils to my new room and they granted it. But when the day of my Check out. I was charged 10pesos for the utensils I requested(just as I thought everything is gone so smoothly with the Guy that took care of me,but it did not because of their female receptionist). This is not the 1st time I stayed in their hotel it's my second. The first time I stayed and requested for utensils there's no charge 🤔 but now there is and they should've atleast have the courtesy to informed every guest before they grant it. To me 10pesos is nothing, It's the female receptionist are so inconsistent disorganized and doesn't really know hotel management or probably she's new not well trained or probably she needs the 10pesos for her jeepney ride or buy something else
Understand that you are booking a hotel for less than dinner for two at a chain restaurant. This is not a five star resort, nor is it the Hilton. Pros: 1. Weirdly low prices. 2. Location. They are everywhere. 3. Most/All have free parking. 4. All the staff I have met have been super helpful and friendly. 5. Overall, extremely clean. 6. Most offer cheap, good, food, available fast and 24 hours per day. Cons: 1. Sogo is really two hotels in one. Part of the clients rent by the hour and book "themed" rooms. Another part are travelers looking for a clean, comfortable room. Check to make sure your location allows under 18 guests, if that's important to you. 2. The rooms can be a little dated. If something is worn out or not quite up to standards, tell the staff and they will immediately fix it, if possible. 3. The parking is generally free, but some of the garages and lots are "creative". Don't be alarmed by steep ramps and wild turns. 4. Many people associate Sogo with hourly stays. Be prepared to explain to your elderly relatives why you and the spouse stayed there! :-)

Worth the money, if not picky. I stayed for a week mainly to sleep. Close to cavite and manila. Kind of in between. I upgraded my room to regency which is bigger. And was done quickly. They served food. I ordered breakfast which was longanisa. Unfortunately, the longanisa tasted bad like sour. At one time, I asked for drinking water and it was served in a stainless picher. It caused me diarrhea. They give bottled water though if u ask in the reception. I did not get a make up room or room cleaning during my 1 week stay. I was told that I have to be in the room when staff is cleaning the room. I asked for cleaning 1x. The housekeeper said he will come back in 10 min. I waited 2 hrs and nobody showed up. So I just tidy the room myself to avoid my frustration I also pay for the upgrade which is not too bad. Staff are nice in the front desk. I think, they are all nice people.
Okay for a short stay and for people on a budget. Kahit non smoking room na piliin mo, they will still give you a room that's smells like cigarette. Its clean but i don't like the smell of smoke. Location is really good, beside is McDonalds. Sogo also serve food 24/7, so that's a plus. Accommodating staff. Good parking at basement. Working elevators. Value for money.
The hotel was a delightful experience, and I was genuinely impressed with the service provided. The rooms were well-maintained, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was good. The staff members were incredibly helpful and always greeted us with warm smiles.
Booked 2 nights thru Agoda because again, I couldn't stand the heat. I don't have AC at home. Booked Monday to Wednesday. This time they gave me a room (Deluxe) that doesn't smell of cigarettes. It's relatively clean. The wifi is strong. I need it for work kasi. However, the AC was loud. Took me some time to sleep because of the sound it made. However, for the 2 nights to escape the my experience is OK. Staff is friendly.

The location is good. It is easily accessible through public transportation. The staff are all courteous. The room is clean. The tv and aircon is functioning well. A good place to stay if you want to relax and have a good time with your partner.

However since we booked executive garage I suggest to add a keycard to lock the room not to ask the staffs to open the room for us since the staffs on the area are quite limited but overall the room is so clean and nice
The room is clean and the AC is super cold! Love it! We stayed there because our Internet Connection was disrupted, and we had to work offline, so we'd try to stay there and glad to say, they have a reliable and fast internet. Thanks!
We've been here sev times but first time booking thru Agoda. fast transaction at the front desk. Waiting time did not take more than 5 minutes. Assisted by one of the senior staff going to the room. Room was ok. Smells clean. Sheets smells and looks clean as well. Could do better with slippers I guess, like disposable ones. Did not try the food this time coz I bought take out. Location is very good. Proximity to everything, like McDonald's and Lawson and some eateries. Near the hiway for easy commute

I booked 2 days in this branch because I couldn't stand the heat anymore. I got the deluxe room and it's relatively clean but it smelled of cigarettes. Which I solved by leaving the toilet light on with the exhaust. But the wifi is non-existent. Luckily the staff on hand offered to move me to a room with better signal. I got to work without a hitch.

I like staying here. Affordable and clean. However, some rooms are not soundproofed from the outside, especially the rooms the ground floor rooms and windows facing the highway. I can hear loud noises from the vehicles.
The pirate room was beautiful, i loved the books decor and the ceiling mood lighting woth the mirrored ceiling. However, one of the bathroom lights and most of the ceiling lights overhead arent working.

2nd time to book executive room. Kaso yung binigay saming room yung masquerade may kalumaan na. Yung faucet sa mirror, mahina yung tubig. Yung faucet naman sa bathtub, hot lang yung malakas bumuga ng tubig. Yung bidet, sobrang hina ng tubig. Pag pasok namin ng room, amoy yosi pa rin. Yung TV, hindi naka smart tv unlike sa 1st time naming booking sa hello kitty room sa grd flr, nakakagamit kami ng Youtube. But the staff and service are excellent. Yung room lang talaga. Thank you!

Sadly our room doesn't have tv that can access YouTube or netflix. The cable only have few channels with old movies. We just slept through the day. A little disturbance happened when the staff wasn't able to log our check in properly and a supervisor had to doorbell us to confirm our check in. Our sleep was disturb so my companion was irritated.

The lavatory has issues like leaking at the sides. The space was great , overall feature of the regency room is great with bath tub. 8/10 for it. The food is only good. we had bangus meal .

Unfortunately, my experience was highly unsatisfactory due to multiple issues that reflect poor service, misrepresentation, and failure to provide the amenities promised in your listing. Issues Encountered: Tatami Room Not Ready Despite Pre-Booking I specifically booked the Tatami Room, as indicated in Agoda’s instructions. However, upon arrival, I was informed that only one Tatami Room existed and was already occupied. This contradicts the information on your website, which listed the Tatami option under Garage Executive, not Mega Suite. Given that my booking was confirmed on March 30, with an expected check-in at 14:00, this room should have been ready for my stay. Room Downgraded Without Prior Notice I paid for an Executive Garage Room, but upon check-in, I was downgraded to a Regency Room, a clear breach of agreement. Your staff offered a Mega Suite as compensation, but as corporate workers, we were not interested in such accommodations. The environment in some of your rooms is too loud and visually stressful, which is inappropriate for guests who need a peaceful stay, especially for work-related purposes. Non-Functional WiFi Despite Advertising Free WiFi Your website advertises FREE WiFi, yet the connection was practically unusable. This prevented us from working remotely, resulting in an unplanned absence from work. If WiFi is not operational, it should not be falsely advertised. Poor Room Maintenance and Hygiene Issues The room was neglected and unclean, with a greasy, muddy floor that was clearly not mopped prior to our arrival. Additionally, the bathtub’s drainage was broken, making it impossible to use. We had to repeatedly call your staff to fix the drainage during our stay, causing constant disruptions. Such issues should be resolved before a guest occupies the room, not during their stay. Excessive Charges for Basic Amenities We were charged ₱10 per cup of hot water and additional fees for clean utensils and plates, despite ordering food worth over ₱1,300. This is unreasonable and contradicts standard hospitality practices. Lack of Coordination Between Reservation and Front Desk Our check-in was scheduled for 14:00, but despite arriving at 16:00, we were informed that staff had no knowledge of our booking. However, we received a confirmation text message from your reservation team upon booking. This lack of internal communication is unacceptable and causes unnecessary delay. Feeling of Being Unwelcome & Early Check-Out Due to Poor Experience Due to the poor treatment, mismanagement, and ongoing disruptions, we felt unwelcome and disregarded as guests as we have to wait longer. Instead of staying until 12:00 noon the following day, we chose to check out at 02:00, as it became clear that our stay would not improve. This was a complete waste of time and money and a highly regrettable decision to choose Hotel Sogo. Request for Full Refund & Immediate Action Given the misrepresentation of accommodations, room downgrade, unsanitary conditions, WiFi failure, additional unreasonable charges, and overall poor experience, I demand a full refund for the booking. I also request that you: Address the misleading room descriptions on your website to prevent future misrepresentation. Improve hygiene and room maintenance standards. Ensure WiFi functionality meets advertised standards. Implement better coordination between reservations and the front desk. Revise excessive charges for basic amenities. We booked 2 rooms under my name at 11PM and we decided to go out at 9AM in the morning and since kailangan esauli yung keycard pag lumalabas ka, isinauli ko sa front desk. Pag bigay ko, nag ask sya kung checkout ba, sabi ko naman hindi maam, lalabas lang. 2 nights yung reservation namin.. nung nakabalik na kami sa hotel around 5-6pm ata yun, hinatid ko muna parents ko sa room nila, after non, pumasok din ako sa room ko, and to my surprise! Unang tingin palang nagbago lahat, yung tsinelas, magkatabi na, yung towel na palagi kong sinasabit kasi ayaw ko ng basang towel, nasa kama ko na, yung toiletries, natapon na, and worse? Yung bag ko nahalughug na! Tinawagan ko agad yung frontdesk kung bakit pinasok yung room ko, pinaakyat nila supervisor at sinabi nila accidentally daw na checkout yung room number ko (which is impossible kasi 2 rooms nga binook ko, sa dapat dalawang rooms ang nacheckout) tapos kaya nalipat sa mga lalagyan ang mga gamit ko dahil daw lilinisan daw ng Housekeeping.. May bag ako sa room tapos checkout??? Di man lang natawag to confirm na checkout attt kagabi palang kami nagcheck in! Been there twice at papa ko palagi sogo nacheck in kasi malapit sa work nya tapos ganito mangyayari? Alam naman pala nila na napasok room ko “accidentally” (hindi kami naniniwala) dapat nagbigay alam samin yung front desk nung kinuha namin yung keycard after gala namin. Dahil nagpanic na parents ko, nagpalipat kami ng family room nila, wala namang nawala sa bag ko kasi yung mga importante ay dinala ko, pero the fact na hinalughog, pinasok, tinapon toiletries at nilagay sa kama ang basa na towel was too much and yung housekeeper di nga humarap! Di na mauulit.

We had a issues sa first room namin due to air conditioning and sira yung flash and but im so happy na instead na icheck muna nila ay nagdecide yung staff na itransfer kami sa ibang room. A bit hassle but the urgency of the staff to resolve the client's complaints are great!

The staff was excellent in accomodating all of the problems. I switched four rooms in the first two hours due to broken wifi, mosquito infestations, and broken hot water. They care about cleanliness, which is why I was happy to stay. The food is inexpensive, and the quality tasted like it. I feel like compared to local hotels Sogo does well and gets a 4. Compared to my expeiences I have to give this a 3 at best.

I booked regency 2 , at check in they accompanied us to our room but i am surprised they gave deluxe room and the smell of cigar is strong not regency 2, i told the one who assisted us this is not what i booked . So they let me and my wife wait at the deluxe room for 30 minutes. After that the supervisor called and told me that they are preparing and cleaning the regency room . Well we got regency 2 room atlast . Next time give us what we booked not other rooms waiting is a disaster .

The only issue is the air-conditioned. It's not that cold. I think they need to have it checked from time to time to make sure that it's working the way it should be. Parking perse is not the issue but the way it was build up is too steep for cars and a bit dangerous. They should put signages on it to avoid future accident.

The king bed is not good, it is not soft. The safety deposit box keeps on beeping. I called room service and the technician just cut off the wire because he cannot set it off. The aircon is a bit noisy. The jacuzzi works just fine but the water blocker for the drainer is broken. The location is good, very accessible thru public transpo, hospital and several restaurants. The staff are all courteous and polite.

Stayed for quite awhile, been changing rooms due to unsanitary situations. Bed was so smelly, one room I was in has pee unflushed, bathroom mirrors unwiped, ac keeps breaking down due to freezing. Hairs on bathroom walls. Rooms were not properly cleaned.

My mother and I recently stayed at SOGO Hotel Molino for a short vacation and were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. We booked a Deluxe Room for 2 nights via the Agoda app for only PHP 1,558.20, which is a great deal considering that the regular walk-in rate for a 24-hour stay is typically between PHP 1,600 to PHP 2,000. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. On our second day, we encountered an issue with the air conditioning unit in our room—it was a frozen window-type AC. However, the staff responded promptly and transferred us to another room with a split-type air conditioner, which worked perfectly and made our stay much more comfortable. One area for improvement would be the availability of basic amenities for guests, such as a water dispenser and a microwave for public use. Adding these would significantly enhance the convenience, especially for longer stays or for guests who prefer to bring or reheat their own food. Overall, we had a pleasant and hassle-free experience at SOGO Molino. The value for money is excellent, especially when booking online, and the staff's quick response to issues is commendable. We would definitely consider staying here again and hope to see small improvements in shared amenities in the future.
