Very Clean, modern,spacious comfortable room for 3 Adults. Hotel right opposite the JR Train Station to Hakone Ropeway. Onsen M/F on sight. Buffet Breakfast & Dinner served-(pay extra). Will definitly stay here again.

Pros: newer boutique hotel/hostel. Clean. Bed size good for 2 people. Single shower facility in women's bathroom on 2nd floor. Had a curling iron in there too. Single indoor onsen in women's area very hot. Cons: no bathroom, shower or sink in room. Single stall shower room in women's bathroom on 2nd floor or bathe in onsen area. Onsen only open after 10am. Can't use before check out at 10am. Limited clothes hanging space. Luggage only able to open on beds. Limited room space. Accessible via train as train stn across the street. Limited parking spaces. Didn't try food options at the hotel but limited choices. Not much around the hotel. Newer looking and clean facility. Staff speaks fluent English. Most roads around the hotel are uphill so be aware in rain and with heavy luggage. Wasn't able to drive to owakudani as road was closed. Think you need to get thereby bus or ropeway. Don't go looking for chisuji falls by car. Road leads,to nowhere. Best to drive if visiting hakone area.

Great place in Gora/Hakone”

Everything was good except the hotel onsen is not that clean. I got some skin reaction afterwards and smell inside the baths were not the best. Same for the rooms. Besides that its a nice place with kind staff

Staff Speak good English. Room stayed had not bathroom and toilet, so had to use the common Bathrooms and toilet.

This place is super close from the station, have a nice restaurant and walk about 10 min to Convinient store.

Fabulous ”

One of our BEST stays in Japan yet Every thing was outstanding + AWESOME staff - All so friendly & kind ( They were kind to give my daughter a fortune cookie and obliged her request for orange juice even though break fast had just ended ) Plus Fluent in English is extra bonus + Delicious meals ( Fresh produce for breakfast & interesting dishes for their dinner course ) Do try their Flow cocktails especially Bohemian Sour ( strong & yummy ) + Tattoo friendly onsen ( so hard to find in Japan & super happy I could soak to my hearts content ) + Warm & hip decor that made us feel so relaxed ( my daughter had fun playing chess & guitar in communal area ) We can't wait to go back again

Hotel suited for Yuppies”

The hotel is right next to Gora station. There is an underground pass going to it. It's so accessible and near. The hotel building resembles a modern type of design. The facade is a bit rustic & grunge type but it lives up to your expectations. The hotel staff speaks English fluently. The hotel has built-in hot spring for both men and women. The quality of the water is fine yet it lacks a bit of temperature. The hotel's bed is true to its advertisement. You can sleep and relax well. The layout of the room is space saving and it has the most amenities except indoor telephone. The food is so good. The breakfast size is just right and it so healthy. They serve English-style breakfast. We stayed for 2 nights and there was no refill for toothpaste. We requested to the front desk and it arrived a few minutes after.

The location is very convenient and the staff is very accommodating.

Great for groups”

We opted for the big private room since we were a group of 8. They had fast internet and a big TV in the room. Tons of space too. The kitchen area was just outside the room, so you could go out to the kitchen and borrow plates and utensils of necessary. Only thing we didn't like was that the room only had a single bathroom. There were two toilets though which were separate from the shower. If two people were using the toilets, there are still additional toilets on the same floor which are normally used by the guests using the dorm. Lastly, the staff spoke excellent English and is a stone's throw away from Gora station.

Friendly Staffs”

Felt very warmly welcomed by the pretty staffs when I arrived and slowly explained about the facilities. Having stayed at the Nishiarai Emblem Hostel in the past, I felt it would definitely be a good choice to try this hostel within hakone as well. Glad to choose this hostel, having a nice indoor onsen as well as a cool cafe/bar space. Felt very homely there. kevin

Great ”

Stay here 2nights. Hotel is around 2-3mins walk to Gora station. Unfortunately the train from Hakone Yumoto to Gora is suspended for service, so taking bus to Gora. The onsen is nice and staffs are friendly. We went for onsen everyday. However not much restaurants nearby.

Very posh looking place but also pretty cozy. The staff are really nice and speak English well, there is an onsen in the hotel. The rooms are super big and spacious, beds are soft and there is Netflix on tv! Everything is really nice. Location is literally 1 min away from Gora station, you only have to cross an underground passway.
