"It has free shuttle bus to/from hotel - Biei/Asahikawa Station. And also to/from Blue Pond. Shiregano Waterfall just nearby the hotel, only about 1-2 minutes walking distance. We booked a room package with Kaiseki Dinner and Breakfast. And it's so delicious. Perfect dinner and breakfast! Friendly staff and it has Onsen and Japanesse style room. The Japanesse style room is perfect! We can see the Shiregano Waterfall's Bridge from our room. Definetely will stay here again if we visit Biei next time. "

"I like that it's not too crowded and there're activities nearby. Natural hot spring pool is open overnight so it is more convenient for hotel guest. Breakfast is excellent! Staff are really nice. There's one English fluent staff who is very professional and thoughtful. He suggested that we could stop by Blue Pond on our way to the hotel while he would take care of our languages. Although it is just 40-minute walk from Blue Pond to the hotel, we walked uphill. Walking one way to the hotel is more than enough for exercise. Nevertheless, they do not reply emails. They mostly answer calls. Luckily, staff from the information center nearby train station helped me arrange for the shuttle service. They can improve in shuttle arrangements. I lives in United States and found this hotel online. My flight schedule may be different from others. My flight was around 1pm so I needed to leave the hotel before their first shuttle and even before the first bus. I took taxi to train station. "

"Me and my friend booked this hotel because we want to go to Blue Pond and Shirahige Waterfall. The waterfall is only behind the hotel and can be reached on foot 2-3mins. While the Blue Pond is 2 bus stop away by Dohoku Bus. The hotel provide free shuttle bus to Blue Pond at 17.30. For those who travel in winter, please be reminded that bus service is only 3-4 times a day and the gap is 2-3 hours away from each other. Thus, please be careful for the time management. We tried the hot springs facility at night. And it was relaxing. Breakfast buffet has many choices of food. "

"Location is away from Biei and accessible by car close by Blue Pond. It is just along the road with street lights and not hard to identify. The owner is courteous and friendly, showed us around. Our room is big enough and basic, quiet even it’s next to the road. Hotel is dated but is clean and I dun mind because it gives a nostalgia feeling of the old travelling days. Price is very reasonable considering everything in Biei is on the more expensive side and choices are limited. Common TV room, kitchen is available for guest use and the guests are also nice. I guessed u can also preorder meals in advance. I like the onsen and it was relaxing after a day’s itenary. Down side only being the squeaky noise made by the doors- male onsen(I can hear the door open and shut) and our room being close by the smoking balcony so we were woke very early by smokers going in and out with door slams Overall, a nice stay!"
