I have visited Tokyo for work annually for the past three years. Have stayed at the Prince Park Tower, Tokyo Station Hotel, and Hotel Celestine Ginza. While I love the Tokyo Station Hotel for many reasons, without a doubt, the next time I am in Tokyo, again, I plan on staying at the Hotel Celestine Ginza. You cannot beat its contemporary/modern accommodation and location.

Amazing staff, amazing location, amazing hotel”
We stayed at the Celestine Ginza for 3 nights. Its smack in the heart of ginza. We could walk to the shopping district, Tsukiji market and the parks. The hotel room was modern and very comfortable. The staff were exceptional. They helped us go buy tickets to Tokyo Disney, mailed postcards for us for free, took care of every little detail!

As good as any five-star hotel”
This is a hidden gem amid the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. Well connected to the Shimbashi and Ginza stations, The Celestine is a boutique hotel that is comparable to global five-star chains. The attention to detail was impeccable as expected of the Japanese - my 3-year-old son received his own bedroom slippers along with a cute handkerchief! Extremely polite staff who took me through the room's amenities, including a Nespresso machine (capsules are topped up daily) that was a godsend to caffeine-starved travelers. While the room is small for bigger families, it was very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Luxury boutique hotel in heart of Ginza”
Stayed here as well as the Kyoto Gion Celestine. Both properties are fantastic but different from one another. This is a good thing because this property really feels like it belongs in a core part of Ginza and the other blends seamlessly into traditional Kyoto. The inside of the hotel is beautiful, the rooms are more spacious than I was expecting (bigger than typical Japanese size), and the views and location are excellent. You never forget you are in Ginza!

Ginza - April ”
We stayed here in April. Hotel is located in Ginza which is a very vibrant part of Tokyo. Great location for drinking, eating and shopping. The Imperial palace as just around the corner. Break down: - Room: Comfortable but slightly on the small size. We had to navigate around the luggage. - Bed: Very comfortable. - Bathroom: Great and but small. - Restaurant: Did not try and Ginza had plenty to offer - Staff: Exceptional. Very friendly. - Location: Perfect. Was a 5 min walk from the Subway. Also next to Toyota if you wanted to rent a car - Facilities: Has no pool or GYM. Restaurant present. - Extras: no gift on arrival as it was with other hotels as we were on our honeymoon Overall: A good hotel wound stay here again. Very good location and rooms despite being small were comfortable.

Tremendous stay”
We stayed 5 nights in a superior twin room. Our room was bright, comfortable and well appointed. Tokyo hotel rooms are small, but this room was bigger than most and used its space well. It was easy to live comfortably out of our suitcases here. Bathroom was lovely and well equipped. The hotel was convenient to at least two Metro stations (Shimbashi and Gonzaga) and an easy walk to the Imperial Palace and Tsukiji Market (among other tourist highlights). Shopping, restaurants and nightlife all conveniently nearby while not in a loud area. Staff were extremely kind and helpful. We did not eat breakfast or other meal at the hotel. Would strongly recommend for anyone considering the Ginza district.

Wonderful Stay”
I was concerned after reading reviews of noise from trains nearby so I called the hotel to ask if they would place us in a quiet room. Though we had a corner room on the top floor (not facing the main street) we could still hear the trains going by however it was not too disturbing. The room was nicely furnished with a wonderful bathroom. Generous space for placing makeup and other bath accessories and wonderful shower. The Front Desk staff were excellent. The Concierge did not seem very knowledgable about dining options. We had dinner in the hotel's restaurant one evening which was OK, nothing spectacular. The wine by the glass on their menu was 1400 yen but we were charged 1600 yen. The pasta was supposed to be half size but it was served to us full size. The tuna tartare was excellent. All of the staff at the hotel were very kind and gracious. We would love to return to the hotel on our next visit to Ginza!

Staff receives the highest marks as they all aim to serve all your needs. Concierge booked us several great dinners - kaiseki and yakitori at our request. They go above and beyond the call of duty. Location is excellent in between Shimbashi and Ginza stations. 5 minute walk to Ginza shopping, 1 minute walk to a convenience store, 3 min walk to closest metro station. Rooms are wonderfully appointed with great amenities and overlook the city with spectacular floor to ceiling windows. Lobby smells wonderfully fresh. Casita Bar on 14th floor had great views and also great service. We all LOVED this hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer than 3 days.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in”
This hotel is so good, I want to make this my regular stay whenever I'm back in Tokyo. This is my second time staying at the hotel, though this time I brought my family with me (with 2 small children). The hotel staff are always welcoming and were very helpful in arranging all our rooms to be on the same floor. The hotel is located strategically in Ginza, and is close to Tokyo Station. The rooms always feel comfortable and relaxing, a well designed room. I especially enjoy the Japanese breakfast at the hotel.

Stunning Hotel with Wonderful Service”
I stayed here for 2 nights and I absolutely loved it. The vibe is great, it is a perfect place that is in the centre of Tokyo's most fashionable areas (GINZA) and the hotel is so chic and calm that it is great to come back to after the wonderful hustle and bustle of TOKYO. The servers at the restaurant were extremely friendly and provided my sister and I with a great experience. The food is tasty and there is a nice drinks selection. The view is stunning. I am 100% rebooking for my next trip to Tokyo. I don't need to try anywhere else.

I totally love it, the staff are very helpful and friendly and they speak English very well too, the rooms are smartly designed to make use of the space and the bathroom is extremely clean .. the location is also a great advantage.. I would recommend it to everyone who is visiting Tokyo and intends to be in Ginza area (the metro station is a 5 minute of pleasant walk in the clean shopping district of Ginza)

Excellent Hotel ”
The hotel is located 5 minutes walk away from the shopping district of Ginza and nearby train stations. Although the rooms are small, the impeccable service, Bvlgari toiletries, and high end amenities make this 3 star hotel seem like its a 5 star. The bar/breakfast place on the 14th floor has great views and an excellent selection of what is now extremely rare Japanese whisky for those that are interested. My only advice to those looking at this hotel is to select rooms on a higher floor. Unfortunately, I stayed on the 4th floor where I could hear people talking very loud in the wee hours and the trains go by early in the morning. Needless to say it was a restless night. The windows definitely need better soundproofing on the lower floors as there are night clubs just around the corner.

We will return to this hotel when we go back to Tokyo. The hotel is new and furnished beautifully. The bathroom and toiletries were the best. The staff couldn't have been more attentive and helpful. Eli checked us in and gave us all the tourist information we needed and by the time we left, we felt that we were friends. The location was excellent for shopping and walking to many sites in and around Ginza. The breakfast was beautiful but a bit expensive so we enjoyed it only once.

7 nights at The Celestine was a wonderful experience. Fabulous location, 3 mins walk to Shimbashi station, 10 mins walk to Tokyo station, unlimited bars and restaurants around the corner. ALL staff were wonderful, friendly and professional, but l must make special mention of Daniel and the bar man (can't remember his name) at Casita restaurant and a special huge thank you to Eri who made our stay at Celestine extra special. This was our first hotel in our trip to Japan and it was definitely the best one. This hotel literally opened two days prior to our arrival and I don't think our room had been ever used. The staff was super friendly and eager to help out. One of the staff, Sasaki, helped us order a portable WiFi device since we realized Japan's free Wifi was not as accessible as Korea's. We also wanted to exchange some currency as some hotels in Korea had good exchange rates, but Sasaki found us a location near the Ginza shopping area that had better rates. The staff of the hotel is one of the best I've come across. I think my only minor gripe is the rooms are really tight.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel Celestine!! It totally surpassed our expectations. My husband had an early train to catch for business and the restaurant staff opened at 6am just for him and served him a full breakfast. We loved everything about the hotel! I never give 5/5 for any hotel but the Celestine deserves it for sure! Location was so convenient as it was close to the Shimbashi station and there were lots of good restaurants and shopping nearby. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.
