Close to Attractions, Clean Room, Friendly Staffs”
The hotel is very to waterfall and blue pond, though a little far from Furano/Biei. The room is clean, and the hotel has lot's of amenities. The staffs are very friendly and helpful too, as they helped us with our vehicle problem. Would recommend this hotel for those who drive.

Super nice hotel, very clean and confy, super onse”
We stayed one night at Park Hills and we loved it. The room had (for once) a very decent size with a little sofa and table, everything was very clean. The onsen is huge and open until midnite. The breakfast was very good, with a lot of choice. There's no wifi in the rooms. Free parking. We would definitely go back there again, with pleasure. The best hotel we slept in during 1 month in Japan, and the cheapest. Thank you agoda.

Quaint hotel in a nice natural environment”
(+) points: Good location (practically located in Daisetsuzan National Park and a stone's throw away from the Blue Waterfalls), free parking, very friendly and helpful staff, fast check-in & check-out, clean, comfortable, well equipped and spacious room, free public bath (very spacious and comfortable - with available open air bath). (-) points: Location (for those who are not driving as it is quite far from Biei town centre), in-room bathroom was pretty small (might be inconvenient for elderly guests), free wifi only in lobby area (surcharge of JPY500 per night if you want to use wifi in your room). Otherwise, it was an enjoyable stay! =) Duration of stay: Two (2) nights only

im happy with it”
We drove to this hotel from Furano. The drive there was rather quiet. This place is a bit out of town. It was snowing at the time so the view from outside the hotel was beautiful. The hotel people are friendly and helpful. They provided trolley for us to carry our luggages and also helped us find map code and phone number for my next hotel. There is a big swimming pool and also hot spring which is very relaxing to go to! The room is clean. The hotel wifi is only limited to the lobby area. I had rented a portable wifi during my stay at Japan, but the portable wifi did not get signal when I was at this hotel. I had to rely on the internet in the lobby area. Overall, I am satisfied

Great service staff”
Staff could speak english which was good. They were also very helpful and friendly. Onsens were slightly old but waters were great. It is right beside the waterfall and tokachidaki sand erosion info centre where we learnt about the active volcano tokachi. Hotel was relatively well maintain but it is slightly old. It would be great if they could install more soundproofing in the rooms as we had really inconsiderate and noisy neighbours, who had children that ran around their room, every jump and thump they made could be heard through the thin walls and we could also hear them shouting despite both doors being shut. Had to knock on their door to tell them to lower down their noise volume. The hotel may want to see if they could improve on the thin walls. Thats my only complaint.

Just next to Shirogane waterfalls ”
The waterfalls is just behind the hotel. Onsen is spacious, they have in and outdoor. Buffet dinner is awesome and many choices. Breakfast is good too. 3km away from blue pond. There are also public bus which runs 5-6 times a day to the hotel from Biei station.

lovely onsen and quite hotel for relax ”
I love this hotel very much, just Becou of the location and onsen, hotel located in the centre of the park. In winter covered with snow, my kids enjoyed so much. The onsen is free and there is indoor swimming pool. Nearby attraction is nice. Staffs are friendly. Can can speak Chinese.

Secluded hotel in a winter wonderland”
This hotel is at a rather secluded location, a good 20km drive from the town of Biei if you would want food not from the hotel restaurant. The onsen is lovely, with an outdoor area, where you can see snow coming down as you soak in the hot tub. Room (Western twin) is a bit dated, but rather big and comfortable. There are supposed to be international channels (Taiwanese, Korean and another language I forgot), but only the Korean one was working.

Very good”
Quiet and serene hotel which is located less than 5mins walk to the waterfall. However, also due to its location, there are few food options around the area. One would probably have to drive out to Biei town for food choices. The public bath area is clean and big. For the Western style public bath, it would be good if the hotel can do something to the outdoor bath to cover the opening as it’s awkward that there’s a moderately tall building just across the open bath.

pricey option for a dated hotel”
Location is excellent for exploring the mountains. 2.5km from the Biei Blue Ponds; visit early in the morning or just before sunset to escape the (crazy) crowds & tour buses. Plenty of free parking on site. Compulsory ¥150 per person per day (onsen tax); even if you do not intend to use the hotel's onsen. plenty of other onsen options around. P.S. there is an excellent free open-air one about 10mins drive away. only the locals know about it. try asking around. the "free" dinner and breakfast has an okay spread. drinks are not included. a small mug of beer will set u back by at least ¥500. not much facilities on site besides the onsen and a heated swimming pool. rooms are quite dark with inadequate lighting; definitely in need of refurbishment. Staff were very helpful & polite. They tried their utmost best to help.

Nice hotel near Shirahige Waterfall”
Me and my friend booked this hotel because we want to go to Blue Pond and Shirahige Waterfall. The waterfall is only behind the hotel and can be reached on foot 2-3mins. While the Blue Pond is 2 bus stop away by Dohoku Bus. The hotel provide free shuttle bus to Blue Pond at 17.30. For those who travel in winter, please be reminded that bus service is only 3-4 times a day and the gap is 2-3 hours away from each other. Thus, please be careful for the time management. We tried the hot springs facility at night. And it was relaxing. Breakfast buffet has many choices of food.

Wrong place for Christmas Eve”
False information was provided over the internet that free shutter bus was available from Biei station to Park Hill. However, when we arrive according to time table, there were no bus. Staff at Biei station told us that they stop the service many years ago. We forced to take taxi to the Hotel and cost 6400 yen. There were no restaurant nearby at night, all closed when we arrive around 7pm+ Terrible place for a vacation, the only tourist spot are the waterfall behind the hotel and Blue Pond. During winter period, the pond was totally covered by snow, nothing can be seen. Don't be cheated by beautiful photograph on the internet. It was a big mistake that we wasted a lot of time and money to travel all the way from Furano to Park Hill. Hotel Reception, there only one women who understand English. We had extreme difficulty when that English speaking women was not around. Hope my bad experience help the other

Nice, peaceful stay with a decent onsen”
We came in the middle of winter, with no car and still had a lovely time. The waterfalls are just behind the hotel and they offer a free shuttle to the blue pond. Food was nice, the pool a little old but was fine for doing a few lengths. The onsen was also pretty decent. We went in winter so there was nothing around but we were happy just going to the onsen and relaxing in the room for 2 days. Overall, a pleasant stay

Quiet hotel next to a national park”
the hotel room is a bit outdated but functional. no in room internet but there is free wifi in the lobby. onsen is included in the room price. hotel restaurant is expensive. the nearest town (biei) is about 30 mins away with many restaurants. if you are looking for onsen and quiet getaway, this might fit the bill. staff speaks very limited english.

SHUTTLE BUS IS GOOD”
The hotel is located at the foot of Daisetsuzan Park where one can go for some climbing during free time. However, the location is not that accessible if you do not have a car. The bus frequency is quite low and there are only one eatery nearby other than the hotel.
