Super new hotel, good location and facilities”
This is my third time going to Furano snowboarding and the hotel totally surprised me! It’s so cozy, modern and minimalistic, with very attentive and helpful staff. The room was clean and big, more than enough for our board bags and luggages. The bar/common area on the ground floor is a good place to chill and drink at night. There are also lockers for ski/sb gears at the entrance of the hotel, just convenient. If you go Furano for skiing, this hotel should be one of the best choices for a comfort rest after a day of riding. The Kitanomine gondola is around 10mins walk up the slope (or 2mins drive, the hotel has free parking space too), and there’s a 24hrs 7-11 nearby. Simply bravo!

It had free drinks including wine night time, not sure it has it everyday or just that time. Public bath has special lavender tube, I never see this in other hotel. Also provide lavender tea for free. Limited dinner restaurants near by if it is in busy season, make a book if you can.

New and clean, but sound isolation is not very good”
The hotel is new and the room is clean and spacious. It is around 5 minutes' walk from the Kitanomine ski slopes, and there are one or two shuttles to and from Kitanomine and Furano area. There are washing and drying machines on the top floor, and a nice public bath (not hot spring) on the ground floor. The worst thing is our room is not very sound-isolating, we keep hearing toilet flushing and gurgling noise which is quite scary at night. Also, the pillows are some healthy type pillows that are super hard, and the hotel did not provide alternatives.

A bit pricy during peak but it’s a very nice clean and comfortable hotel. Ideally you should have a car to get to this hotel. Breakfast set was good and they have a public bath you can use. Overall very satisfied with my stay at Munin

Excellent service from the Staff”
We booked this hotel for 2 nights to celebrate our mother’s 60th birthday and the friendly staff helped us by facilitating in this celebration. They helped us in placing an order for the cake, collecting the cake and placing Swan towels in my mother’s hotel room. As soon as we arrived at the reception counter to check-in and prepare for the birthday surprise, they warmly welcome us and quickly led us to the rooms to get ready for the surprise. Excellent work from the Staff 👍🏻 Greatly appreciate their service during our stay

Extra charges when we checked in”
Got a shock when we checked into Hotel Munin. There were 4 of us and we booked 2 twin rooms. The staff told us our booking for 2 twin rooms = 1 pax per room and we had to pay extra $500 for the other 2 pax! This is ridiculous. We have never stayed in a hotel which charges by per pax. The staff was inflexible and insisted we had to pay for the extra 2 pax. We ended up paying the the extra money. Hotel room wise, they are clean and comfortable. Small public bath within the hotel. Breakfast food was good and delicious. If you want Jap meal you have to order in advance because they only have 10 pathetic sets per day.

Location not ideal if carrying skis, but a morning shuttle bus service is provided. Room was a double, but would be claustrophobic if 2 people. Yuka on the front desk was exceptional and it was because of her that I would recommend the hotel. Quality of food must depend on who is cooking. The Hokkaido salad was delicious. The tempura looked amazing but was soggy - wrong oil temperature. The chicken cream pasta was the worst pasta I have ever had - tasteless pasta in a running coloured water sauce. I had to ask for pepper and a teaspoon of Parmesan to even attemp to eat it. Lovely public bath - a shame it is only open in the late afternoon and evening. Wonderful large public bar/dining area. There needs to be some encouragement by the hotel to get people to want to stay there.....good food would help....along with free apres ski snacks and perhaps board games.

Rooms albeit small is well equipped. The onsen spa is reasonably sized and very well maintained; indoors & outdoors. Very nice deco with interesting arts pieces that accentuates the quirkiness of this modern boutique hotel.

we booked the room with tatami, so plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 kids. hotel is very close to the ski facility, 5 mins walk. but a bit far for restaurant. but we are driving and its fine for us.

Had a comfortable stay. Staffs were polite and courteous. Had western breakfast set which was delicious. Only limited sets of Japanese breakfast are available. Although onsen was small but it was a bonus. Parking is free. Great stay !

The room is considered spacious compared to other standard rooms in Japan. Love the public bath which includes a small partial unenclosed section. However the only disappointment was the bath house only opens 4pm till midnight, It would be wonderful if it is open in the morning.
