    Biei in autumn, winter coming”

    Staff very friendly and helpful, even thought their English was better than our Japanese. Got the query across every time. Very central to every thing in this little town. Suggest you hire a car before getting to Biei as they close down for the oncoming winter snow early.

    Stayed for night in between two towns, was good for the duration we were in. Requested a non-smoking room, however, got a smoking room instead although they said they changed it already.

    Ok for a night but some things were disappointing.”

    The staff were very pleasant and the hotel is close to the station. The bed was comfortable but there was an unpleasant odour coming from the bathroom so we slept with the window open. Internet was very slow. The buffet breakfast simple with limited selections but enough for a traveller - perhaps because it was the quiet season (spring). I probably would try somewhere else next time.

    Quaint and Charming”

    I don' t know why others would go to Biei in late May. It seems like it is the off season. But after the bustle of big cities I do appreciate the slower, simple life of a small, quaint and charming town like Biei. But I was there mainly to see the blue pond (Shirogane), which we did after we checked out. The hotel is so quiet, that there is even a "curfew" - after 11 pm the hotel is locked down. Not that there is anything else you might want to do outside after 11 anyway. There is not much nightlife that I could see. Or that my wife would let me. :-)

    SPACIOUS ROOM”

    WE LOVE THIS HOTEL AND ROOM! OUR ROOM WAS SPACIOUS! Located along the main road but quiet, because Biei is a quiet little town without much traffic. The opening of the room door is cute. Onsen-like bathroom! Hahaha! SO CUTE! Breakfast was quite delicious, too! We regretted not staying here longer to enjoy its peace and beauty. It is totally recommended!

    Good Location”

    Good location, easy to find. Just 3 mins walk from Biei Station. The room is spacious with convenient beds. Simple and fresh food for breakfast. But the price was too expensive.

    there are not many choices for accomodation inside Biei town. this is a nice hotel with spacious room, we stayed in deluxe room. convenience shop and restaurants are just walking distance from the hotel. a comfortable stay.

    Good location but old fashion”

    We have not requested Connecting room but helpful staff arranged it. Helped us to open the middle door. Interior is a bit old fashion but still clean. Spacious room and basic amenities in room. Great local breakfast with Biei Milk provided.

    Great location”

    It's just steps away from Biei Station. I had no choice but to reserve a smoking room, but I guess I was lucky that the smell wasn't that bad. Good included breakfast.

    Convenient place to stop over”

    Room is spacious but there is totally not much to do nor eat in town. Better to stay in furano and go to the farms from there.
