Great value, comfort and location stay!”
I stayed at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku for one night at the end of November after looking for a hotel in Shinjuku with good reviews for a short stop over before a work trip. I was not disappointed! I found Hotel Gracery Shinjuku offered a nice amount of luxury, especially given the price and was delighted with the bathroom and view from my room. I opted for a double room and felt the amount of room I had was more than sufficient for me. The location was perfect being super close to Shinjuki train stations and sightseeing, and the hotel staff were helpful in storing my bag both before I stayed (before check-in) and after I checked out. I'd definitely stay here again when I come back to Tokyo!

Excellent hotel stay choice”
In terms of location, its consider quite near to shinjuku station (JR and natural express) which is about 10-15mins walk (I'm at a strolling speed) with luggages during the super cold season. No stairsway from hotel all the way to the station (there are escalators) and for those with luggages will be easy for you. Around the hotel there are many food choices and just below the hotel there's a 7-11. Customer service from the front desk and housekeeping were excellent! They were friendly, understanding, accommodation and flexible. They can speak and understand English without any miscommunication. For those who want to self wash your clothes, there is a coin operated laundry room with dryers. Rooms are consider reasonably good size for hotels in Japan. Toliet consider big comparing to other hotels. Overall experience in Gracery Hotel was fantastic. I will definitely return if I'm going to Tokyo again. Thank you for the wonderful experience Gracery!

Great but a few problems”
Hotel Gracery Shinjuku was fantastic however there are a few things to consider before your stay. The standard double is very, very small. As a couple with 2 suitcases, the room offered NO drawers or storage. Literally nothing except a shallow space for 2 coat hangers. It is definitely more catered to business travelers staying overnight with just one small bag, evidenced by a trouser press built into the wall. The bathroom was generous and the wetroom was fantastic. The hotel is in the red light district and although I had read reviews warning this, and been there before, I was still shocked with the atmosphere every night. Some aggressive, drunken, Japanese people wandering around, people throwing up in the streets. After a long day out exploring Tokyo, we would dread having to walk through the area at night on our way back. The staff were impeccable, the cleanliness was perfect. We recieved 2 bottles of water every day which we appreciated. Next time I would stay in an airbnb.

Great HOtel”
It was an excellent experience staying in Hotel Gracery Shinjuku. The room is a little small in terms of the sq ft, but Tokyo hotels in general are small sq ft. Their staff are very helpful and especially the hotel gives us amenities daily even you have the sign on the door saying we don't need to clean our room. We love this hotel and we will definitely refer anyone who needs to stay in Tokyo.

It is a great hotel with all the essentials at a great price.”
It is located really near the trains in Shinjuku, all the food & shopping. The room was spacious & service was impeccable. They helped us with securing reservations at a 1 star michelin sushi restaurant which made our time in Tokyo even more awesome than it already was! Will always recommend Hotel Gracery Shinjuku to my friends as well as return to stay with them next time.

Right in the middle of the vibrant Shinjuku district, comfortable and clean ”
Our five days in Tokyo were enhanced by the location of Hotel Gracery which is in the middle of the Shinjuku district and very well connected for transport wherever you wish to go. The hotel is famous for its Godzilla Head which added a bit of fun and means that EVERYONE knows where it is and it can be seen from almost everywhere local - great for finding the way home. The room was compact by western standards and but we managed well because there was every facility that we could want and cleaning services were excellent. Bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room very quiet. High recommend.

The hotel is extremely new and super clean ”
Gracery Shinjuku is a very new and super clean hotel with stylish interior. We enjoyed our stay and already booked our return trip. The hotel is in Kabukicho area, which is a red light district, but you win't feel like it. It seems like they have transformed that part of Kabukicho to be about rated PG13, so it's kids friendly. Many restaurants and convenience stores and on top of a movie theater. There's a Donki shop near by too. We are so happy with the hotel. There's a Godzila head on 8th floor too. Once you get put of Shinjuku East exit and walk toward Kabukicho, you will find the hotel with Godzilla on it!

****Location, Convenience, Comfort****”
Hotel Gracery Shinjuku gave value for money. Slightly more expensive than the previous hotel we stayed at but nearer to Shinjuku station. 7-11 & eateries are all just downstairs. The airport bus stop from Haneda is around the other side of Shinjuku station about 10 minutes walking on relatively level surface(much better than contending with the metro stairs!). Staff are professional & do their best to serve; they try to attend to every guest immediately. They took all our requests into consideration & were actually able to meet all of them. Room is slightly larger than Japan average but it maybe because we took a deluxe room. Room is well laid out with separate toilet & bath rooms so that both can be used simultaneously. Basin & vanity counter of good size in door area between bathroom & toilet. Very comfortable double beds. 2 comfortable armchairs & side table besides the desktop. Only negative is ChannelNewsAsia TV (only English channel) was intermittent.

Center of Shinjuku, Kabukicho”
Perfect location for those who wants to be centrally located in Tokyo. Shinjuku is one of the best transpo hub in Tokyo. It connects several train lines making it super easy to access. Gracery is located at the heart of Shinjuku together with the Godzilla head in the premise of the hotel. There are also a lot of 24 hour stores and restos nearby. Basic room is kinda small but it's okay for 1-2 guests, standard Japanese hotel room size. You won't go wrong with this place.

Fantastic location”
I just had one unpleasant experience with one concierge staff who seemed a bit inexperienced and unfriendly, but the other staffs even the ones patrolling the hotel entrance are ok. This hotel has the perfect location, for adults that is. Located in the heart of kabukicho, all you need is here already. Food, shopping, bars, And its even adjacent to my favorite japanese whisky bar, zoetrope. It's just about 5-10 minutes walk to the shinjuku station too! What's also nice about this hotel is the room setting. Unlike other hotels that combines the toilet, bathroom and the sink in one room, This hotel room gives you a quite spacious bathroom, japanese style with bathtub and shower (standing and sitting). A separate toilet room, and a separate sink (pretty large for japanese standard) outside the toilet. These all comes at the cost of a slightly smaller closet, which i dont mind at all as i never fully utilize the whole space in a closet anyway. The window view from my last room was fantastic, overlooking the city. And the godzilla statue on the hotel's 8th floor balcony made a nice photo object too. Overall it has been a pleasantful experience and i would definitely come back to this hotel when i go to tokyo again.

Tokyo Shinjuku Stay”
We stayed in another hotel in Ginza for 3 nights before we moved to Hotel Gracery Shinjuku for another 3 nights. With the comparison of the 2 hotels, Hotel Gracery Shinjuku has a really small room, where it does not even offer a proper closet. However, it does have everything you would need. The housekeepes are not very professional. Everyday after cleaning, we would see a tag that saids they cannot judge this area so they cannot clean. It was just a bag of garbage that we placed beside the garbage can, and they cannot judge that and left it in the room for another night. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you like to stay in Shinjuku, but I think being a 4 stars hotel is overrated.

Excellent Location”
We stayed 7 nights in a Deluxe room Nov-Dec and enjoyed our stay but had a minor issue with the room. Staff were really helpful and offered to move us into another room but we declined as we had already unpacked. They gave us complimentary breakfast instead for the duration of our stay as goodwill and it was most appreciated.Nice hotel located 5 minute walk from Shinjuku station and a 15 minute walk to the beautiful Shinjuku National Park. Room was quite small as with most hotel rooms in Japan. Lots of restaurants and shops around the hotel as well and right in the middle of all the action.Take the EAST exit at Shinjuku station and walk straight, pass the first crossing and you will see the hotel up ahead, can't miss it. Shinjuku station has MANY exits so be sure to take this exit. Be sure to try the restaurants in the hotel complex on the first floor, quite nice and reasonably priced. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

Location, cleanliness & convenience”
Hotel Gracery is a really nice place to stay at, and I got a room on the ladies’ floor (which was pretty cool). The hotel is very easy to identify, because of the Godzilla head on top of the hotel. If coming via Shinjuku Station and walking, take the East Exit and go up the stairs to Kabukicho. You may also take one of the WE Buses at the West Exit (near Odakyu Dept Store) for a fee of ¥100 one-way (the bus stops at Gracery).

Hotel Gracery Shinjuku Tokyo”
Rather expensive, somewhat sterile and impersonal, the Hotel Gracery Shinjuku is in an excellent location. The staff were lovely, very kind and gracious, though they could use a bit more training in dispensing touristic information about Tokyo.

New Hotel”
A very clean hotel. It is newly opened. My room was rather small and cramp, which is expected of Tokyo hotels. Many amenities besides the basic toiletries were provided. The bathroom was designed to look like your very own private onsen. The view from my room on the 21st floor was superb. The only gripe I had was that the bed was too small. It is a super single bed. Too cramped for 2 adults and 1 small child. The other thing is the blinds. It is not enough to keep sunlight out in the morning and the sun rises at 4am in Tokyo. The location is very convenient. There are many restaurants and convenience stores just below the hotel and it is just within 10 minutes walk from Shinjuku Station. The service from the staff at the front desk was excellent. I asked many questions and directions to the attractions in Tokyo and they took the initiative to look up from the internet whatever they did not have answers to.

Fantastic hotel right in the heart of Shinjuku”
Wonderful hotel minutes from Shinjuku station (east exit) with great amenities. The hotel is only a couple of years old and although the room was compact, it had everything you could need. I stayed in the Ladies Only room which had a foot massager (great after a hard days shopping!), facial steamer and a generous supply of facial products. The only thing missing was a razor which I suspect is in the regular rooms. The location could not have been better. Stepping outside, the hotel has a 7 Eleven on the ground floor and is in the heart of the Shinjuku. The Robot restaurant is a few minutes walk away as is an endless selection of shops, Don Quixote, restaurants and Karaoke. And who would love a hotel with a giant Godzilla on the roof? So Japanese! Next time I'm in Tokyo, I'm definitely coming back here.

Excellent location Hotel”
From Shinjuku train and continue walking straight & you can see this Godzilla head hanging by the building so its hard to miss the hotel. As most of the reviews explained, this hotel is situated in the heart of Shinjuku and have small rooms like most Tokyo hotels. However comparatively, I feel the room size is slightly bigger than the others. Only slight complaint is that the electrical plug doesn't seems to work with 3 pin plug gadgets despite using a travel adaptor. Tried 2 different travel adaptors and it doesn't seem to connect to my laptop. Called up a customer service officer and was informed that 3 pin plug gadgets do not work on their electrical plugs which is quite strange to be honest....

Great location, good size room, comfortable. ”
The Godzilla was helpful to tell taxi drivers when the couldn't understand Gracery Hotel. Godzilla always worked. Very helpful staff, comfortable beds and fantastic bath with complimentary bath salts. Great to be able to catch the bus just outside the hotel door that went to the Shinjuku train station. From there we went all over. Lots of choice of restaurants close by the hotel an a well stocked convenience store next door. Would stay here again.

Great location near bars, restaurants, and Shinjuku Station!”
I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel! We had a great room on an upper floor with a bit more space than some of the other, similarly priced rooms we've had in Tokyo. The view was great, the hotel was clean, and check in/check out were quick and easy. The hotel was a relatively short walk from Shinjuku Station, and we were able to easily connect to most locations in the city. The 7-11 on the ground floor was an added bonus. The neighborhood was definitely lively on Friday and Saturday night, and the touts outside some of the clubs were not shy. That said, I never felt unsafe or uncomfortable (and I live in a relatively small, rural town when I'm not traveling. There's no gym or pool, but you can access a nearby gym with a lap pool at a discounted price. I didn't see that advertised, and its a great perk.
