Near to the Furano ski area with shuttle service ”
Location is great, 5 minutes hotel Shuttle to ski area. Breakfast is great, like fine dining. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Near to few nice restaurants nearby. Downside: Only a bit hot (winter) in hotel room without individual air conditioning, only central heating control. Bath room is small. But public bath is big and nice without crowd.

Quite pricey!”
The price was a bit high for what we got. We got not breakfast nor dinner. The shop nearby were all closed and we had to get food from Lawson, which we don't mind because we could eat in the room. The room itself was nice and comfy!

I’m booking again!”
One of the reasons I fell inlove with Furano Is because of Edel Warmë. It was charming because it stayed classic in design and decoration. I practically squealed that I got to use an actual key to open and lock my room. I love the knobs and on the bedside desk to control the ac, lights and volume. The room was pretty spacious. And the view from my window was enchanting. The hotel’s location was great - near restaurants, convenience stores, bus stop. There’s a free shuttle service to and from Kitanomine and Furano ski slopes. The staff were gracious and helpful, these more than make-up for the language barrier. I heard the onsen is good - I didn’t get to go , but it’s great that they have it available for. I wish it has a coin laundry service though. And also a more flexible dinner menu. If there’s anything that I can suggest, a bigger t&b would be fantastic!!!

Only drawback was the poor english of staff”
It was a pleasant surprise that I found this hotel. Had planned a last minute trip to Hokkaido for skiing and decided on Furano because Niseko is all full. To be right at the ski resort, you should take Prince Hotel or New Prince Hotel. Undoubtedly expensive but its very convenient. You literally walk out of your room and you go ski. Stop anytime you want, come back anytime you want. But they were fully booked. I found the next best thing -Edel Warme. They provide a shuttle bus from the hotel to the ski resort daily. But the timing is not frequent yet it is very reasonable. Check with the hotel about this. There is a direct airport express to the hotel available that cost 4000 yen per pax one way. The whole journey from Chitose airport is about 3 hours but it beats all other ways of transport. There are shops outside the hotel but getting to city centre, you need a taxi. The staff is friendly and polite but they simply can't speak English well (some almost zero!)

Perfect location”
This Hotel was one of the highlights of our trip. Bigger than most Japan Hotel rooms, excellent location, with several delicious restaurants in walking distance, the onsen topped the day off nicely, free shuttle to Furano zone, fantastic breakfast, on and on. I've already recommended Edel to all my friends and will be returning next year

located near Kitanomine Gondola”
Dated hotel, short uphill walk to Kitanomine Gondola and ski area. However, as i was there over the new year period, alot of restaurants were closed, and the only life around the ski area is at New Furano Prince hotel area, which is around 6km away -- ie one needs to catch a shuttle bus (very limited), get a taxi which is costly or drive your own vehicle. There is also limited bus service to town nearby, so the options are taxi or own car. On new year day many of those who stayed on side of Kitanomine had to settle for 7-11 meals (5 mins walk away) or walk 1.2km to Macdonalds (not the best as it was freezing). Probably better to avoid the 1-3 Jan period. Room is large as it was a 4 person room (we had only 3 persons), but toilet in room was so tiny that i repeatedly knocked the sides. Its better to bathe in the onsen bath on ground floor. There is a ajoining ski rental shop to the hotel, and those with own gear may also leave them there to dry with locking facilities.

Nice hotel”
I enjoyed the breakfast and public bath. The staff tried their best to please the customers, despite the fact that they could only speak a little bit of English. There is nice fireplace at the lobby. This location is near many eateries and 7-Eleven. The hotel provides a free shuttle to both Kitanomine and Furano ski areas. One downside - I fell down and hit the back of my head on the slippery icy carpark adjoining the main road. There should have been some kind of warning not to walk that way.

Cozy and Nice”
Pros: Has its own parking, Near the Furano ski place, Has its own onsen (no additional charges), reasonable price, rooms are spacious compare to other Japanese hotels, staff are accommodating Cons: Our room had that sewage smell and when we complained, the staff just gave us an odor remover spray.

Good hotel with friendly staff”
Pros - near 7/11 and food places, offers free shuttle to ski areas (Kitanomine, Furano Ropeway), staff at front office/housekeeping/F&B/maintenance all put in their best efforts to keep you happy, adequate breakfast spread, rooms are decent, Onsen is larger than that at Hotel Naturwald. Cons - very slippery at car park with slope leading to the road (I fell on my back and hit my head while walking to the road); there were guests smoking on my floor which I thought was non-smoking.

Edel rather Warm”
We stayed here as an adult family, while a little expensive considering, for Furano it was acceptable but not great value. Beds were a bit hard which made using the Onsen mandatory to soften up sore muscles. The Onsen was good.

Great value for money”
Overall, my stay at this hotel was really good. From a practical perspective, all our needs were met - WiFi everywhere, decent room size, clean bathroom, clean sheets and towels everyday, room to put ski equipment, public bath. Only thing I would mention here is that the pillows were rather thin, if you like big fluffy pillows, be ready to be disappointed. From a service perspective, the hotel staff were really friendly and provided excellent service. Only issue is language (English) but nothing you can't overcome with hand gestures and google translate. They provide an excellent shuttle service to the gondolas as well. Location-wise, the hotel is under 10 minutes from the gondola by foot and is really near some excellent local restaurants. Ask the hotel staff for recommendations. In sum, if you are looking for a great value for money hotel this is the place. Nothing fancy or luxurious (the hotel is a little old), but definitely comfortable enough at its price range.

Good Stay, 10 minutes from main gondola in Furano. Rooms rather small (but manageable) for 4 people

Nice room”
room is so nice, clean and large. A gentlemen Staff at front desk is very helpful and always trying to help. Onsen is very clean and nice, parking is free with a lot of space. only one weak point is Breakfast. I stayed for two night and very disappointed with breakfast. The female staff at breakfast service is trying to keep guest waiting and always ignore when the choice run out. I believed it is hotel policy as two different female staff at the second day do the same thing.

Old hotel but pleasant stay”
hotel is old but rooms are clean and of decent size. sufficient space for suitcases and ski gear. onsen was very clean and not crowded. most evenings it was empty. the reception staff are very polite and speak enough english for communication. they were very helpful and drove us into town for dinner because it was snowing very hard and we had missed the shuttle bus. the hotel provided transport to and from the ski slope, but in reality it is close enough to walk if you leave your ski gear at the slope breakfast is ample and tasty, although variety could be improved

Nice ”
Booked a room for 3 and was given a proper single bed for the extra head. Hotel looks a little old but clean and well kept. Room is spacious. Breakfast is pretty good. Onsen is free for house guests. Staff is helpful though the command of English is fair. Highly recommended.
