I stayed at Han She Business Hotel with my family, including both young children and elderly parents. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, making it a good place to rest after a day out. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made us feel very welcome. However, the hotel lacks some basic amenities and facilities that travelers typically expect. Items like toothbrushes, shavers, and other toiletries were not provided, which was a bit inconvenient. It would be great if the hotel could improve on this, especially for guests traveling with families who might need these essentials. Despite these drawbacks, the location is convenient and the service is warm. If you’re looking for a simple and budget-friendly place to stay with good hospitality, Han She Business Hotel can be a decent choice.
The hotel is conveniently located near the Ximending area—about an 8–10 minute walk straight from Ximen MRT Exit 1, then a left turn into a side alley. It’s also close to a 7-11, massage parlors, beauty and clothing shops, the famous Crispy Milk Donut stall, cozy restaurants, cafés, bistros, and TianHao Temple. Location-wise, it's definitely a plus. The room was spacious enough to fit three large suitcases, with a vintage and somewhat dated design. However, the entrance to the room had a raised metal step, which made it inconvenient (and slightly dangerous) as we had to lift our luggages . We nearly tripped over it several times, and it was easy to stub our toes or misstep. The bed was okay, but not particularly comfortable. Unfortunately, after two nights, we noticed itchiness and bug bite marks—especially on our legs—which raised concerns about possible bed bugs. The bathroom had no bidet but did include a bathtub with jacuzzi functions. That said, we didn’t use it because it looked old and not very clean. No toiletries were provided. Housekeeping was decent, and customer service was friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. Overall, the location is a highlight, but the comfort and cleanliness levels leave room for improvement. If those issues were addressed, it could be a much better stay.
We stayed at the Superior Double Room last March 31 2025 and this review is for the new update if you plan to stay at Han She Business Hotel . The building is newly renovated, no bad smell or cigarette smell at the elevator, rooms, corridors unlike what the old reviews posted. The reception/lobby at the 4th floor is newly renovated. The entrance to the building is at the side and no issue since it is easy to find just look for the signages. The surroundings of the hotel is safe and well lighted. Landmark to find it easily is Olympia Bakery. LOCATION : 100/10 PERFECT! There are many good breakfast places around the area, also many Family Mart and 7-11 stores around. Best to have breakfast where the locals are lining up for authentic Taiwanese breakfast, lunch or dinner. Ximending Shopping area, night market and street food places is a short walk (5 mins) ROOM: 8/10 Spacious can fit 2 large luggages with ease. NO BAD SMELL or Cigarette smell. Free WiFi per floor. They supply water bottles for 2 pax daily, also instant coffee and tea. The Electric kettle is new no residue or rust but make sure to rinse it anyway. The beddings and pillows are clean but they don't change linen unless you requested. We did'nt had it changed since we are in the hotel at nighttime only. BATHROOM : 5/10 They supplied basic amenities like Shampoo and Body Wash. Bring own Toothbrush, Toothpaste and Hand soap. Towels are replaced upon request. Since they renovated the building/room, I hope they did it too for the bathroom. The toilet is new but the bathtub is old and coating chipped off exposing rust. MOST IMPORTANTLY NO SHOWER CURTAIN making the whole bathroom wet after shower. No clothes hanger too and the surrounding is wet making it a struggle to take a bath. The management should have replaced it with a simple shower enclosure to make it easier for the guests. This issue should be fixed otherwise everything is ok. NEEDS IMPROVEMENT : The pillows are not comfy too flat. The room too cold, there is no temperature controller if you want to make it less cold. Though this would be great for summer. But during our stay it is 12 deg outside and raining and the room temperature is too cold for us. MOST IMPORTANT is the DOOR LOCK! no added security lock and no peep hole to check outside. This is the major concern especially when traveling alone. I hope management look into this for safety of the guests staying at the hotel. Lastly, the Lady Manager of Han She, MS LIAO is so accommodating and helpful. She even gave us bottled water and snacks while waiting for our ride to the airport. She is such a warm and nice lady. I would stay at Han She Business Hotel again because of her. Hope to see the improvements on my next visit.
We stayed at Han She Hotel in a family room for 8 nights and overall had a pleasant experience. Pros: • The room came with two big beds, which were perfect for our group. • We appreciated the hot and cold water availability, especially after long days out. • The front desk and staff were very helpful and accommodating. • The hotel is in the Ximending area, which is a major plus—you’re surrounded by shops, food stalls, and the night market. Everything is walkable, which made our stay really convenient and fun. Cons: • The room lacked a work table and mirror in the main area, which was a bit inconvenient for us since we’re virtual assistants and needed a space to work. • There’s no bidet in the toilet, which we feel would’ve added extra comfort. Overall, Han She Hotel is a great choice for travelers who want to explore Ximending, especially for families or groups. Just note a couple of the room limitations if you’re planning to work during your stay.

“Worth a stay!”
We stayed at Han She Business Hotel for 11 nights and found our overall experience relatively pleasant. Here’s a breakdown of our stay: Pros: - Prime Location: Situated in the heart of Ximending, the hotel offers easy access to a vibrant street full of shops, eateries, and entertainment. - Convenient Amenities: A DIY laundry shop is just a short walk away—very handy for longer stays. - Decent Comfort: The bed was reasonably comfortable, making for restful sleep. - Friendly Staff: The front desk staff was polite and helpful. Special mention goes to Ms. Hwang, who was consistently warm, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. Ms. Ku also provided courteous assistance when needed. - Cleanliness: While the room was a bit dated, it was kept relatively clean throughout our stay. Note: housekeeping is not automatic—you’ll need to inform the front desk if you’d like your room made up. - Moderate Room Size: The room wasn’t spacious, but it wasn’t cramped either—comfortable enough for two people to move around. Cons: - Dated Interiors: Both the room and bathroom showed signs of wear and could benefit from refurbishment or deep cleaning. - Security Concern: The internal latch/lock on the main door was broken and unusable, which may be unsettling for some guests. However, the door’s key lock remained permanently engaged. - Unresolved Maintenance Issue: The bathroom’s glass door couldn’t shut fully. We reported this to the front desk multiple times starting from day one, but the issue remained unresolved throughout our stay. - Slow Hot Water: The shower took a few minutes to heat up, requiring some waiting before use. - Obstructed View: Although the room had a window, the view was completely obstructed by what appeared to be a wall. Overall: A pleasant stay with a few notable drawbacks. The location and lady staff were highlights.
