Where to stay in Furano
Furano hotels & accommodations

New Furano Prince is a ski resort so it is situated at the base of a mountain with ski lifts for accessibility. Do expect a longer drive to reach this hotel coming from Asahikawa via Biei. Nevertheless, this hotel is in close proximity to farmlands so Furano melons, cheese, ice-creams, winery and boutique restaurants are nearby. Room size is a tad compact for 3 full-gr...

Designed by a famous Japanese architect, the hotel is stylish, modern and very appealing. The lobby is very welcoming, and although quite a compact hotel, it doesn't feel cramped. Similarly, the rooms are well designed such that there is no wasted space. Though the room we had (double bed) was compact, it was not too cramped. The glass 'window' from bathroom to bedr...

If you have a car, I recommended this hotel because I've ever stayed 3 different hotels in Furano. This hotel has a bigger room, bigger bed, bigger parking lot with cheaper price. The location is uphill in the forest that is very nice and peaceful. Having the good view of Tokachidake.

"3 star price with a 5 star service and facility" As you see my profile history i dont usually wrote much about hotel review, but I feel i need to do at least this much to share with you about Hotel Naturwald. I visited Furano on 23rd March - 31st March. There are 2 ski zone in Furano which is "Kitanomine zone" and "Furano zone" which were about 5mins drive between o...

Booking at Furano was very difficult especially in the peak season. We finally found this apartment but the price was a bit high. On the check in day, we arrived early at around 10am with five heavy luggage. The owner, Mr Hiro, let us to put them at the front desk and came back to check in at 4pm. When we came back at 8pm, surprisingly he showed us a house next to the...

This hotel is like a serviced apartment since we booked 2-bedroom and it was like the whole house for us. 2 bedrooms and a spacious living room with kitchen, fridge, microwave, kitchen amenities. It's good for a long stay if you are coming for ski for many days. The hotel location is a bit tricky as we didn't put in their map code but we put in its telephone number an...

This Hotel was one of the highlights of our trip. Bigger than most Japan Hotel rooms, excellent location, with several delicious restaurants in walking distance, the onsen topped the day off nicely, free shuttle to Furano zone, fantastic breakfast, on and on. I've already recommended Edel to all my friends and will be returning next year

The house is really pretty! I like it! And the owner helped me a lot. When I want to buy melon made in Hokkaido, he told me where have supermarket which near the house the most. When I can’t found melon at that supermarket, he drove me to go for all supermarket in Furano even final can’t buy melon. But his action make me feel so warm because he hasn’t responsibility to...

It was a wonderful place to stay in. It is an hour drive away from Farm Tomita. It is near to Furano Delice. If you are in furano, you must try the double formage from furano delice. I enjoy the cheese fondue in Resort Inn North Country. It's a special item and the reason i stay there. Friendly staff!

the best moment for us when we were on eastern hokkaido trip. The owners are the Japanese couple who run their own busines So they gave us the best their can do to service. such as free bicycle rental pick up service from station (maybe the reason is it was low season in Furano at that time) anyway we really appreciated their kindness they talked with us a lot about...

We got the 2 bedroom apartment and it was very nice. It felt more like a hotel than an apartment! Complete utilities (stove, microwave, washing machine, fireplace) and even a PS4 and Netflix! Space was very big and very homey. We didn’t go to ski but it would be a nice skiing lodge. The managers can speak very fluent English (they’re not from japan) but they can also s...

This was by far the best accommodation throughout my trip. Location was good, around 15 mins drive to Farm Tomita. Accessible using Google Maps which brought us to the exact location. Roads in Furano was very dark so do be careful and arrive before dark if possible. 7 eleven was 5 mins drive away. Host was extremely friendly and helpful with considerably good english....

My stay in furano was made an excellent experience with this accommodation. I like it the fact that the house architecture is very comfortable and also the view outside the room is also very relaxing experience. Thumbs up to Element and Highly recommend.

We stayed here for one night as we were driving through Furano to see the flower fields, on our way to a bunch of hikes in the central part of the island. We did not have huge expectations, which was probably good. The thing is, the pension itself is quite lovely and clean, the main room has nice high ceilings and huge windows, which I would imagine looks gorgeous in t...

Amazing! It is so different from other hotels. We reserved a Japanese tatami room, which is very big and there are Japanese sleeping clothing aside. the underground bathroom is very big and clean, serving constant temperature bathtub and showers. The outside views are so beautiful. Location is not near the Furano station but there is a bus stop just outside the hotel. ...

This hotel is perched on top of a hill, overlooking a vast lavender farm (covered in snow during winter). The onsen (multiple indoor & outdoor) is huge with sauna. The onsen is very popular with locals (ticket machine), keeping the onsen really busy ... limited number of Japanese room accommodation. We did not order meals because it was an easy drive down to Furano to...

This Lodge has 2 stairs, and can stay max 4 persons It feel like stay as your home. Breakfast is so good and delicious. There also has melon in breakfast Its around 20 minutes from Tomita Farm and 10 minute for Furano cheese cake. Staff can speak English and also polite with us. I love it !! and also Recommended !!!

Hotel is located within walking distance of Furano JR Station, and is also very near Kumagera, one of the best restaurants in the area. There is only one shared bathroom for showering among everyone staying in the hotel, but it was not a problem for me since I ended my day relatively early and there was no queue.

The staff were amazingly accommodating. With a last minute change of plans instead of arriving during normal check in time we had to arrive close to midnight. They were absolutely brilliant and let us with no problems. The hotel uses the next door hotel's onsen which was absolutely lovely. They had free parking. The hotel is a bit far from anything so a car is needed. ...

Pretty chalet house at the top of a hill overlooking vineyards and down to Furano. Really serene and relaxing environment with great hospitality. 20 mins walk on country roads to Rokkatei for Japanese confectionary. 10-15 mins drive to wine and cheese factories as well as furano marche and popular restaurant kumagera. Great location for self-drive tourists.

Not too far from the city - require to travel about 500m gravel road to reach the stay, still manageable with a typical Japanese small vehicles. No visible signage, just turn left at the junction and you will see the lovely house surrounded by greens. Host is friendly and speaks brief English. Clean room as expected, ours is really spacious where we can open up our ...

We loved our stay at Yukiyama. It is within walking distance of lifts and restaurants and a 7eleven. The bed was big and comfortable and with a full kitchen, my partner and I were able to cook some of the time. It was a nice haven after a big day on the slopes.

Really enjoyed my stay as the host was really friendly and helpful. This house has a fully equipped kitchen which enables me to cook for my 1 year old. Met all my needs for a family of 6 and have nothing to complain about. Thanks for a great stay.

Great location, 2 minutes walk from ski lifts. Lots of character, the whole place has a homely feel that is great to come back to after a long day skiing. Fantastic staff, they have limited English but are very friendly and helpful. If we visit Furano again (and we'd love to!!) we would stay here again without hesitation.

We arrived very late, 11pm, knowing reception would be closed - they simply left a key out with our name on and number room - very easy! Rooms small, bunk-style but clean. Shared bathrooms spotlessly clean, with shower, bath and plenty of sinks and toilets. Best is the large lounge to relax in with plenty of leaflets and information on what to do and whats in and aroun...

Takeda San and his wife are friendly and keeping the premises cleanly. The shared facilities are adequate and they're up to 2-star rating. The hot tub is excellent after a tired ski day. The location is amazing, just few minutes from the chair lift. You can have a lunch break or a quick nap at the hostel then back to the snow field without loosing much time. The Prince...
