Excellent accommodation in a quiet town”
We were impressed in many aspects of Fresh Powder. One, the manager was very hospitable and provided us with a helpful orientation of the apartment facilities, including waste separation rules, which are strict in Furano. We also got great transportation & dining tips from him. The apartment made us felt like home because it has a full kitchen and bathroom, complete with washing machine. This is a luxury compared to all the other typical accommodations in Japan we have been to. The only drawback would be the slight distance from JR station, which we use as a connecting point to visit other attractions on the area. There is a local Lavender Bus but it does not run as frequently as we would have liked. But I would still say that the pluses outweigh the minus, for sure.

Wonderful place for family”
2nd time we stayed at Fresh Powder. This time we stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment overlooking Furano city and the mountains. Fantastic view. 2 boys of ours were entertained with PS3 games.Tim even got us a new chopping board when I informed him of my son's peanut allergy. Very thoughtful of him. Plus he's also very accommodaging to my sons' chatter and questions! We love our stay at FP and certainly will stay there again when we visit in future.

We had a great stay in the apartment. It is spacious, chic and clean. All the equipments in the apartment are of high quality. The hospitality of Tim and Hiro made our stay more pleasant. We will definitely stay in Fresh Powder Apartment if we visit Furano again.

Fresh Powder located in Furano a quiet place and where has some restaurants if you don't want to cook yourself. I like it so much not only the neat and clean room but also the GM is a full of passionate guy. Very nice stay there.

Coziness of home ”
The apartment was a very pleasant surprise for us after having stay in several hotels in various part of Hokkaido. it has the amendities and design of a new, modern apartment, with 2 nice rooms (containing 2 singles bed in each room). Comes with a well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Wifi connection in the apartment was also good and there's a good selection of English channels on the TV, which is also very rare in Hokkaido. Overall, we felt very much at home and was reluctant to leave after 1 night. Highly recommended for all travellers to Furano.

Exceptional”
We got the 2 bedroom apartment and it was very nice. It felt more like a hotel than an apartment! Complete utilities (stove, microwave, washing machine, fireplace) and even a PS4 and Netflix! Space was very big and very homey. We didn’t go to ski but it would be a nice skiing lodge. The managers can speak very fluent English (they’re not from japan) but they can also speak Japanese fluently (nice when we needed help like for the taxi). The manager who was in charge of us, Gareth, was very helpful & friendly and even drove us around a few times so we didn’t need to always take a taxi. It’s about a 5-10 min drive to Furano station and to Ningle Terrace. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean, fully-equipped apartment in Furano”
Our studio apartment was great - it was a good size for a couple, it had all the facilities and amenities we needed, it was spanking clean, and they anticipate your every need and have solutions for all the requests we had. As we arrived on a rainy afternoon, the staff provided us DVDs so that we could stay in and have some quality time together. The Co-op down the road had everything we needed, in terms of groceries and ready-to-microwave food. The Sapporo Drug Store was also very well-stocked with beauty and body products. It isn't directly connected with the Furano main town area, so you could enjoy some serenity! If you drive, the directions and guides the staff provide are easy and you can get anywhere in no time.

Large studio with modern fit out”
My wife and I stayed in one of the studio rooms. We were very satisfied with the tidiness of the room and how well it has been fitted out, it looks like it has only recently been renovated. The size of the room is quite sparse by Japanese standard, we had our 2 large suitcases opened up laying around and still had plenty of room to move around. The kitchen included all utensils and expected kits for cook if you are keen. The staff on duty, Hiro, who spoke good English was very kind and friendly. He provided us with handy guides around the area, including restaurant recommendations. The location was around 10 min drive from Furano station and town centre, either by car or by bus (both the car park and bus stop are just across the road) There are a number of restaurants and 7-11 within walking distance, one particular place we were quite fond of was Panier, a Japanese curry house run by an elderly man on his own (and in what looks like his home). Definitely go there to try his Furano Omelette Curry :)

We were lucky to be given a complimentary upgrade. The apartment was fantastic. Clean, cozy and has everything u need. Love the fire place. Parking was convenient as it was just opposite of the apartment. A few min drive to the "town" area. A MUST STAY place if you were to visit Furano!!! Two thumbs up!!!

Neat and nice apartment. ”
Have booked the hotel by mistake, but find this to be a very nice and comfortable apartment. We went to Furano for Lavender, so find this is not a convenient place to stay, and difficult to find car or shops around the area. But if you go there in winter and for skiing purpose, I think this would be an ideal apartment. They have equppped with different home appliances and kitchen wares, and places are neat and tidy. The staffs there can speak goods English, since one of them is from Canada, and provide good service.

Awesome stay”
This gorgeous apartment is better than a 5 stars hotel. Very detail furnishing, full utensil and well set up kitchen, free parking. The owner is very friendly, helpful and even spoiled us to upgrade our room. 3 mins drive to metro area, 5 mins to New Price Hotel, 15 mins drive to the beautiful flower fields. We will definitely come again in next summer.

Excellent stay at Fresh Powder Apartments”
We booked the 2 Bedroom Apartment (non-smoking) for our stay in May 2015. The location of the accommodation is very close to the ski resort and would be a good base if you are planning to use it. Ample free parking is available opposite the apartment. We were quite surprised to see the external facade of the apartment but once we checked in the apartment we found it to be very cosy and homely. It has two bedrooms with four single beds, two toilets, a living room with fire place, a dining room and a kitchen. The apartment comes with a washer and dryer too. The landlord/owners were very friendly and helpful. Be warned that you may need to carry your bags up to the apartments (up a few flights of stairs) as there are no lifts. The owners practice strict recycling and you will need to follow instructions on how to deposit your recyclable and non-recyclable waste. Since our unit was on the top floor, the living room offered a very nice view of the mountains. The sunrise view over the mountains can be quite stunning if the weather is right. Overall we were very satisfied with the apartment and would recommend it to families and groups travelling together. What we liked: 1) friendly and helpful owners who speak fluent English 2) very cosy and homely apartment layout 3) awesome view of the mountain ranges What we disliked: 1) no lifts so it was a struggle to carry bags
