Vivre dans un Riad”
très agréable séjour dans un riad, pour une 1ère expérience. A refaire
hotel charmant,accueil chaleureux.”
Très bon séjour avec un management particulièrement attentionné.
Not quite as presented on the website”
Initially the riad looked like we expected with tiles and painting decoration. The room as small but adequate as we were out most of the time. The aircon worked. The location was excellent with easy access to the main tourist spots and not far to a car pickup spot once you walk down two alleys. However breakfast was very disappointing in the it was bread, pancake, jams, a few soft cheese packets and on one occasion an ommlette. I found it very heavy on the carbs and not enough protein. Definitely no variety. The website says they have dinner but apparently they only do that if there are 4 or more people - not clear on the webpage. The roof top has some chairs but the view of the city is non existent, just terrible with the washing hanging out - definitely not somewhere to relax.
from the moment I arrived the service was great. .”
warm great room. needs wifi and better tv reception
A Great Place with Great People”
we booked this online and sight unseen and could not have been happier. the staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout, from the welcoming mint tea to helping with phone calls to giving directions and advice. while their english was limited, (french is spoken by all staff in addition to arabic), they found a way to figure it out. the riad is nicely decorated, clean, and quiet. it is also incredibly easy to get to- literally one turn from one of the main gates of the medina), which can be complicated. the price was reasonable and included a good breakfast. wi-fi is available, easy, and free. we loved the place and have already recommended it to a number of friends.
