Exceptional”

Emirates Grand Hotel is located in a very good position in Dubai. It is very easy to get to by catching the red line Metro from the airport to Financial Centre station and then a quick 3 minute walk. It is only one more station to the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall. Our room was upgraded to one that was very spacious. It included a separate kitchenette, lounge room with office desk, separate bathroom and a good size bedroom. The rooms were very well kept. The staff were quite attentive and happy to look after our luggage on the last day we there. I would stay here again if I were to come back to Dubai.

value for money”

I chose this hotel to attend a conference in World Trade Centre. Upgraded to single suite for free. Excellent location. 2 minutes walk to metro station. Definitely will be my choice if I visit Dubai again.Great value for money

Great hotel in great location”

I had a pleasant stay in this hotel. It's clean, well maintained, not luxury to the extremes, still very pleasant. Rooms are spacious, washrooms are spotless and the personal is very welcoming. Very important is the location I think, which is close to the financial center and DIFC, right on Sheikh Zaed road, with access to all one may need on a business travel. Would I come back to this hotel? - definitely.

Very Pleasant Two-night Stay”

I enjoyed my experience at Emirates Grand Hotel. The staff were friendly from the get go and always made an effort to help. The front desk staff were very helpful and quick. I stayed in the one-bedroom king and it was great. It had a decent little kitchenette, nice living area with a built-in desk and a big cozy bed. Though the bedroom was a bit of a tight squeeze with the big bed, it was still nice. I read a lot of complaints about carpet before I booked, but I didn't notice anything off about them. In fact, the room was perfectly cleaned. I got some good use out of the kitchenette as I brought some supplies to prepare a few meals. The equipment provided was satisfactory indeed. As far as facilities go, I thought the pool was very small and overrun with children, but what can you do. It was Eid. I was disappointed that the steam room wasn't working and the sauna wasn't very hot. They had a special tent set up out back for the start of the World Cup games. It was decent.

Great locationn and large rooms ”

emirates grand hotel is located very near the train station, just less that 5 minutes walk. some hotel staffs friendly and helpful, but some are not. but i would say most are ok. quite a few local stays there. this hotel has a nice outdoor swimming pool and gym for worked out. there is also a nice spa for massage service. just behind the hotel, there is a 24 hour operation super market that sells quite a lot of things. overall is great experience and Close to tain station where you can easilly go around Dubai only from one station.

Excellent hospitality and location”

The hotel is very close to the Financial center and Dubai mall. The staff is very helpful and polite, especially the reception staff. They upgraded my deluxe room to the super deluxe room, with added lobby and kitchenette attached. The hotel is in the middle of Marina Bay on one side and Burj Juman on the other. Clubs are all situated near the hotel within 10-15 minutes drive by taxis or Metro. I suggest everyone to look for this while on holiday, the price online is very very attractive as compared to others.

Great Hotel & Location”

We booked 3 days 2 nights. Located close to the metro station just one stop away from the Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa, plenty of spots to eat just outside the hotel as well, evan a 24/7 Starbucks. The staff very friendly/helpful from the bell hop, desk, and sanitary workers who specifically clean your floor. We used the gym which was good, locker rooms had sauna & steam room. Wifi worked great, views from the 35th floor were great. We booked a 2 bedroom 2 bath room with full kitchen and living room, the rooms have been very well kept and maintained, about 85 channels on the tv. This hotel is an actual solid 4 star hotel compared to others that are ranked 4 star and are 3. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

quite good location”

this is my first time i stayed at Emirates Grand Hotel. it is just 5 minutes taxi ride to the world's biggest and famous dubai shopping mall. so huge that you wont be able to finish in a single day. Emirates Grand Hotel's staffs are quite friendly and helpful indeed. food quality is not bad too. the room size is quite huge too. very easy to get taxi from the hotel at anytime of the day.

Decent stay, proximity to DIFC and metro station ”

Very nice rooms, with 2 bathrooms, Separate dining and sitting area makes it a great stay. On top of it, this time wi-fi was free for 2 gadgets which is a good thing. Staff, except for some at the reception are courteous and friendly Only negative, not for some though, they don't serve alcohol. Good for family stay and proximity to Dubai Mall, DIFC and Emmar Square makes it an ideal location for business travellers. Even tourists are well connected as it is next to Financial Centre Metro Station.

5 star hotel for 4 star price”

I had a pleasant stay at Emirates Grand Hotel. I read in the reviews that it was a 5 star hotel with 4 star price, and they were definitely right. It sits among all the other 5 star hotels in the vicinity but they're worth the money. The bed was large and comfortable, the furnishings and colours were soothing, there was a kitchen area that was spacious, the service was good, staff was friendly. I also love that its only 15 min walk to the Burj Khalifa (something you can do on a cool day), otherwise just jump on the train that is 5 min walk from the hotel that can take you to the Burj Khalifa in 2 stops.

Perfect hotel location and price in Dubai”

Excellent. It was very easy to reach shopping malls in Dubai by metro, taxi or bus plus everything you would need from coffee shops, pharmacies, restaurants, rent a cars and supermarkets are only walking distance from the hotel. We will recommend the hotel to our friends. Believe me, the price per night at the hotel is very good compare to other hotels in Dubai at Sheikh Zayed road.

emirates grand hotel is indeed grand.... hotel workers are great! they are quite helpful most of the time. but i did witness some who encountered not so great ones:( but overall is good i supposed. this hotel is also equip with nice pool and gym, as well as a spa that provides massage services. right behind hotel u can find a 24 hours super market that sells almost everything. just 1 minute walk away. anyway thanks to agoda for the great choice!!!

The hotel although aged, suited our needs perfectly. It was kept clean and tidy. My friend and I shared a two bedroom apartment with kitchen - had microwave and washing machine. We were given water bottles each day. The TVs were useless for us (apart from all batteries being flat for the remotes) the stations were fuzzy and English shows were news related. However, we were more interested in reading and rarely got to our room with any time for leisure...very busy days sightseeing. The swimming pool operates from 9 - 9 - perhaps if the hours were longer we might have cooled off in the evening. The hotel is a couple of minutes to the metro, with only one stop to Dubai Mall. Brilliant location. The breakfast had enough choice to get us started each morning. The staff were very helpful and the Tourist Reps were brilliant. There are a few eateries within walking distance and a convenience store. We ate at the Japanese and the Pizza place. Was very nice. We would stay again.

the hotel have great location near of the most wonderful mall which is Dubai Mall. the room was so clean and comforting, I enjoy my staying in it if I have chance to visit Dubai I'll get this hotel for sure, if the price will not be higher.

Good Hotel , Careless staffs ”

The Hotel and Location is good for business travellers located stregetically in the new Dubai . The rooms sizes are quite good compares other Hotels nearby. Cons.. No towels were placed in room after room service and even at the first day of check-inn in the room and had to call twice to get it. After check out and after we went to airport we found our the reception staff did not refund our deposit balance. Good our flight was little bit late and the hotel was not far from airport. Had to spent another 100DHS to go back and get back the refund. And the reception staff did not want to take any responsibility for this.

Locations are good but not the Reception staff”

Reception Staff at check in counter not flexible when my daughter who was working in Dubai came to the hotel to stay over for a night. Reception Staff insist that she need an extra bed as the one room apartment we booked can only access to two people as such we need to pay for an extra bed for her. Since we are paying for this room type and there is a couch in the living room my daughter can easily make use of it to sleep for a night. Can't the reception staff be more flexible in allowing her to stay for a night using the living couch? This is the reason that put us back to give a good review of the hotel. Hope these hotel staff can improve their flexibility in this situation in future. Well we might consider another visit to Dubai and stay in Emirates Grand again if they can improve their flexibility and good services to the guests.

Good if you have meetings in DIFC”

Hotel is in walking distance to DIFC (for the period in Dubai when it is not hot, very easy to walk). Also the Dubai Metro is in 2min walking distance and from there you can get anywhere. I had stayed at the hotel next door - Warwick another time and I feel that Warwick's rooms were newer although design and cut was exactly the same.

Modern hotel near Dubai Mall, Subway and Restaurants”

Stayed on one bedroom suite no 802 for Dec 23-25 (3 nights), with wifi and breakfast I like below points: 1) it is near subway station which is less than 5 mins walk in relax away 2) Officer Lily in Relations desk is very kind and helpful, she let us early check in and upgrade our king room to one bed room suite and send us nice anniversary cake 3) the room is clean, big, quiet with full kitchen 4) It is 1 subway station away from dubai mall, suggest to walk to dubai mall from hotel which is much faster than taking subway as it takes around 20 minutes to walk from dubai mall subway station to dubai mall 5) good wifi in room 6) good breakfast with various choices 7) check out is quick. 8) help to print out boarding pass for free 9) free shuttle to malls and outlet. 10) there are restaurants near hotel I don't like below points: 1) check in process is confusing as there were 2 counters, bigger reception desk takes very long time for check in and no any sign if it is for check out or check in. Heard that it is for check out only, however as discussed with Relations counter Lily, she said that the bigger reception counter can do both check in and check out. 2) housekeeping work not good enough as seems they always forget that the room is for 2 person so every thing should be two set in bathroom, which is not the case in our 3 nights staying, missing towel or bath gel or lotion daily. 3) the toilet paper location is too far away, not sure if this is standard design for other room. 4) bad smell outside of room, not sure from another room or cooridor but that smell last 3 days during our stay

i was very pleased in staying in the emirates grand hotel. the bed room was in an accepted size, however the living room was big enough, and the bathroom was clean except for the shower curtains where not appropriately hanged. the kitchen was ok but the appliances where little.
