A lovely little budget resort. Dorms and affordable rooms with buffer breakfast and a gorgeous pool area. Set back from the road so it’s quiet and with lots of trees.

Eco resort fits the name in nature garden abundance”
The stay was alright in simple comfort in an older infrastructure fitting well the promo price paid at first but not when the office staff asked us to add 100 Bath a day extra for the booked room , pretending that room was bunk beds over and under only while the photograph clearly showed two sized 135cm beds next to each other . No proof if bill came for this forced extra payment . on the ither hand the stay with a full size well maintained 25 meter swimming pool came as a substantial measure to make any swimmer happy. Breakfast was quite ordinary and could have been less budget limited for -150 PP .paid for starting a day with a smile. I would still recomend this resort for it’s good proximity to say the Arcade 2 & 3 bus terminals at a relative walkable distance from the riverbank Though this forced request for an extra payment for the room kind of blurred the Trust in the monent of reception act.

As with many Thai resorts the maintenance is a bit behind, and a few ants, but I personally loved the resort and hope to return.

With potential but needs revival!!”
I like simple places such as this, with free space, a clean decent-size pool, seclusion from hustle bustle of the city yet good location. But this place has probably lived its best years already. Breakfast was sad, we tend to eat everything and not complain but we were un-thrilled to have the same sausages, fried egg and cheapest toast bread each morning. Sad to realise the milk was diluted with water. (Even kids noticed it). That's such a pity and I don't think the pandemic, or any crises is to blame. I would suggest the management to revise the service they are offering. This place definitely has a great potential, but we'll hidden or neglected at this stage. I hope to return there one day and see this place thriving!

The photo on agoda is not the room we got, but the room was fine. Bedsheets were clean, airconditionding was working great and the mosquitonet above each bed was also a great thing to have. The showers were not that great we had the shared bathroom showers and the waterstream was not big enough, warm water was available but not as warm as I would have liked and it takes quite some time before it gets warm. The area of the hotel is not the best especially at night. I wouldn't walk alone at night in the neighborhood. There is however a small street nearby which serves cheap food and is delicious. All in all great value for your money, but do not expect the best comfort and luxury here. This is a great option for budget travellers. P.S. the resort does have some beautiful greenery!

This place is a foreigner trap. They provided 1 towel for my wife and I to share. We booked a room with two single beds, and were given a bunk bed. When we tried to get it fixed, showing our booking and payment, the staff only got frustrated and told us to take it or leave it. We arrived at our still dusty room, bunk beds with stains still present and a full trash bin. Our single towel. And finally, when we were collecting our things to check out, we noticed there were a few things missing. One of which was a pretty expensive watch. So yeah… best i can do for you, is tell you that if they tell you to take it or leave it… just get your money back and go.

Very dirty and overgrown everything ”
I was so surprised after seeing this place call Eco resort. They let all tree and lawn way overgrown and infested with mosquitoes. Now is my third day in other hotel but my legs still itchy everywhere from sitting in Eco resort for an hour. My new resort don't have mosquitoes because they took care of it. I wasn't the only one sitting there but their were other couple that got attack by hundreds of mosquitoes. The advertised did not indicate that my room is a share bathroom with man and woman. The bathroom is in the middle of hallway with no door so when someone take a dumb I can hear it from my room. I was expecting to have my own bathroom. The picture of my room is totally different because they fix it and make it white and way bigger than it is. It's make me believe that this place is nice enough to stay but it was not. I check out couple hours after check in because after I got bitten by a lot of mosquitoes and heard someone taking a dumb from my room with the door closed I decide not to stay. You should check the Google earth to see how it looks before coming here. The management refuse to refund me and I am very upset and disappointed.

Pros: - Very friendly and helpful staff. From the front desk to the cleaner. - Good size shared room with single bed with lockers and shared bath room (outside). - Not too far from the Muang Mai fresh market (about 20 minutes walk). - Not much noise even though the property is next to a major road. - Nice sounds of nature during the day (birds) and night (frogs and grasshoppers) - Spacious shared community bath rooms with tiled showers. Outside the main dorm building but covered and build to a high standard. - Desk with a comfortable chair in the room. - Very good, speedy and stable WiFi. - Plenty of parking spaces for scooters, motorbikes and bicycles. - Very nice property with a lot of palm trees and green areas. Cons: - Relative far away from the old city. About 40 minutes walk one-way. I've stayed at the Eco Resort Chiang Mai for 2 nights from July 10th, 2016 to the 12th. The check-in went very well. A very nice lady at the front desk checked me in. She need to move a female guest from my room to another because the lady in the room didn't want to share with a male stranger :-). The process took about 10-15 minutes. The front desk lady showed her concern that I needed to wait so long but I assured her that I was happy to wait because I was not in a rush. I went to my room in the dorm building once she gave me the go-ahead. I found the room immediately and was pleasantly surprised. Nice single bed, desk with a comfortable chair, a large locker, large window. I've had two very good nights at the Eco Resort. At night the frogs and grasshoppers were creating nice ambient sounds which allowed me to sleep very good. The outside shared bathrooms are very nice, modern and build to a high standard. They get cleaned everyday and there is also daily room cleaning service. The cleaner was very friendly and polite and finished his job very quickly. I've thanked him enthusiastically. I've made use of the very nice desk with a comfortable chair, the locker and the very good

Totally lovely & well-designed”
my two friends and i had a shared room in the dormitory section. it was very affordable for such a lovely room. the amenities were shared, but we didn't mind as there was no inconvenience. the room was fully ac'd, and our beds made up each day. breakfast was included although it wasn't special. eco resort chiang mai is a little out of the immediate town, so you do need to get a song taeow or tuk tuk to get into the night market and old city - it looks walking distance on the maps but it really isn't. the gorgeous garden, the amazing pool and the shared areas all make up for the slight distance from cm proper. the staff were very friendly and helpful, giving us directions and acting promptly on any requests.we all agreed that we would totally reccommend any of our friends to stay here again.
