Rooms were clean, comfortable and well heated. There is a TV & safe in the room, along with a table fan (if it gets too warm). The room does not have a kettle (need to request hot water from reception) or iron (need to use the iron in the laundry room). Free wifi is available throughout the hotel. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I booked a single room, but received a free upgrade to a double. Reception was manned 24 hours. The buffet breakfast was basic, but satisfying - consisting of bacon/sausage, eggs, a selection of good breads and cheeses as well as cereal. Hotel location is also good, near an underground and tram station. The city center is only 2 or 3 stops away by underground. There is a decent selection of diners and stores in the vicinity.

There are a few fast food outlets and near a supermarket, convenient to get stuff or grab a quick breakfast before catching a train to somewhere else. Limited eateries around the accommodation. A good distance away from tourists attractions. One can have a nice walk along the river to get to these attractions, not necessary to take a bus. At the nearby train station, you can get trains to different parts of Austria easily and the staff at the train station are very helpful. The only confusion I had was the trains from different companies require the passenger to buy the tickets from different counter or from a kiosk. It took me awhile to figure that out because many people whom I approached at the station did not speak English. I had to wait for the Sales staff to report to work to answer my queries.

Right in the city centre, this is a very convenient hotel for the main sights and shops, with many places to eat and drink nearby. The reception staff were very helpful, not just for hotel issues, but also for advice on things to do in the city, and how and where to arrange things. But the main benefit of this hotel is the room size. A large, well-lit space with separate living and sleeping areas, which makes it perfect for relaxing after a long day trudging around the city. We really enjoyed our stay, and were very pleased with our choice of hotel.

With 2 sons of an age whereby they have very much grown out of the 'Christmas Magic', Christmas had lost its sparkle to myself and my wife. I booked our Christmas trip with a hope that there would be some sparkle return to this holiday period. Wow !!! - The Hotel Bristol is a truly fantastic Hotel. I have been lucky enough to stay in some very nice Hotels around the word and the Hotel Bristol rates as the very best. The Hotel itself is immaculately clean, furnished to highest standard and the staff are attentive, friendly and professional. Nothing is too much bother, as well as they are genuine in their desire to please. Salzburg is magical and I recommend the trip up to the castle, Christmas markets and if you get the chance take a sleigh ride on Christmas day. All truly Magical.

This hotel consider to be very good for family stay because there are kitchen in the room so you can have family dinner in your room. Price also very cheap comparing with 4 stars hotel near by. The only concern point is distance from railway. For travelers with HEAVY baggage like me and my wife then I suggest to take taxi for first time going there because way is quite confuse even you a map and distance is quite far for HEAVY baggage.

The location was fantastic, 3 min walk from S7 Sbarn Station from airport. Less than 5 min walk to Belvedere Palace. Two great team links. Hotel is very spacious, check in was easy with friendly staff. Our room was so spacious overlooking garden. Very quiet & peaceful. The best was the breakfast! What a great selection of hot & cold food , drinks & fantastic coffee & tea selection. It was worth every €!!!! I would highly recommend this hotel for both business & pleasure.

Kaiserhif Wien was the best hotel out of 6 hotels stay in Czech and Austria. I stayed 4~5 star hotels during my travel but I don't understand why this hotel is 4 star. Room was very wide, facility was good, breakfast was fresh and plenty. Especially reception lady(should ask her name) welcomed with big smile and said good-bye gently. But only 1 lady answered phone my room-service after my long-day, she was very cold and made me feel offensive a little bit. Hope I could stay in this hotel soon.

I found most Austria hotel doesn't have cooling air condition facilities. Visit there in summer could be tough coz the room can be quite warm during daytime. We had the windows open all the time hoping the wind would help bringing down the heat. It is cooler outside after sunset but we have to deal with noise and mosquito problems then. Hotel is in great location, walking distance to some mean attractions. Parking is not free it's $15 euro per day.

My child and I enjoyed our weekend holiday at Hilton Hotel Vienna at Stadtpark a great deal. The location is superb, direct from airport s-bahn train or CAT Landstrasse. And just less than 2 minutes walk to U-bahn underground where you could reached the city centre; Stephansplatz and Mariahilderstrasse in just less than 15 minutes. The hotel is located next to the Stadtpark or Vienna City Park, I assumed the view from higher category in Hilton offered the best view of this park. From moment we arrived, staff was very attentive and thoughtful. Once we arrived in our room which were situated in a higher floor, we were so delighted and glad that our room was slightly larger and more spacious than we have thought. As usual for Hilton Chain hotels, the bed was so comfortable and the duvet was so soft and very relaxing- simply ultimately relaxing! The bathroom was okay with medium standard amenities offered. The room was cleaned and well taken care by the housekeeping lady who were so friendly, thoughtful and working hard to make sure every spots in room are not overlooked and well cleaned and organized. The breakfast was brilliant, lots of choices of great hot and cold menus as well as made-to-order warm cookings, staff at the breakfast room was even more friendly and very efficient, all of them ensure that we received juices, teas and coffees to complemented our breakfast! One thing, that I wished this hotel would have is the swimming pool or at least small whirlpool where guests could access and included in the hotel tariff. Overall, the stay is remarkable and memorable one. Despite the fact, that our baggage from Milan Malpensa Airport delayed and haven't been located, the staff in the hotel ensured our stay is remarkable one! We will surely come back again.

we had a fantastic stay at NH suites. The rooms were quite spacious with a very decent sized drawing cum kitchenette and a bedroom with a dresser. Bathroom was nice and clean. What impressed me was the staff. Even though we reached the hotel at 6am, the receptionist was helpful enough to give us a room immediately without any extra cost though usual check ins are at 2 PM. Breakfast was a very nice spread with lots of choices. The only down side of it was it was the same spread every day. The biggest advantage of this hotel was its location. Superb and very conveniently located. In front of the hotel was a beautiful cobbled pathway with the underground station Zigglergasse just 2 steps away from the hotel. Museum Quarter was walking distance too. The underground being so close to the hotel made it so easy for us to commute to and from the airport with our luggage. This made sightseeing also convenient even as late as 11.30pm. Convenios, restaurants, mobile eateries were lined up close by, so grabbing a late night meal was never a problem. The suites do not have the frills of a regular hotel but it is no less than a 4 star where facilities are concerned.

Highly recommended if you know the U-Bahn. As the location is just slightly outside the city centre, you need transportation. But it is convenience as the U-Bahn takes you to the city quickly. The service is ok as staff tries their best to help, if they are not sure about your enquiry, they would find somebody who can help. The room is not too big but he view faces the Donau River which is a plus. I love the bathroom space as it is big and the floor is at the same level and one does not need to climb the bathtubs to prevent slip and fall. The only thing is you need to ask for the kettle to make tea which the housekeeper gives us good quality of tea bags. Overall, excellent. I will choose this hotel again if I am travelling to Vienna again.

The hotel is not in the city centre, but it's location on the edge of the Danube river makes up for that. We caught taxis a couple of times and paid between 15-20 euro per trip. The food, especially breakfast was amongst the best either my wife or I have had. The staff were super friendly and did everything to make sure our stay would be remembered. I would stay there again in a heart beat.

My friend & I had a fabulous experience at Hotel Sailer, the Staff were super friendly, spoke clear english, helpful, attentive & knowledgeable, the hotel was quite central and a small walk to walk to any tourist area ie Golden Roof, or train station (1 block) , loved the convenience of its locality!! Our room was modern, clean, beds were so comfy!, room was quiet at night, Breakfast was anything you could ever want to eat, a great selection of Hot foods as well as Continental, & fresh fruits, bread rolls, selections of different breads,, juices, and the coffee was Amazing!!! The 100yr old Hotel exceeded my expectations, I loved the carving on the wooden ceiling in the breakfast room., that was original for sure. Overall would highly recommend to any travellers... Thank you for a wonderful stay Hotel Sailer!!

The hotel is well situated just across the road maybe 60m from the entry/exit into the arrival hall of the airport. It was pouring with rain! I found the hotel quite ordinary but on company expenses, I may be getting spoilt. It was a clean, normal type room, nothing executive about it at all. The reason I stayed there was because of its proximity to the airport and I could book on line. Initially my door card did not work and that meant a trip back to reception - remember I was soaking wet! I found the price of 24hrs internet service a rip-off at $22 for 24 hrs. The price of Coke in the mini bar was €3 which is also a rip-off. Cost for a Bacardi and Coke in the bar was €9, another rip-off. I live in Spain where it is still much cheaper than the rest of the civilised EU. Breakfast was included in the price and was excellent. Staff were a bit wooden face but what else does one expect in a busy hotel. I'll go there again because it is so convenient and the overall cost of the room was very reasonable at US$169.

There was a mix up at first upon checking in because I had booked this hotel and cancelled it once when I found a better rate through Agoda. They couldn't find my subsequent booking but it all got sorted out later. The staff was quite nice about it. Other than that, we couldn't have been happier with the hotel. The location was great - right beside Karntner StraBe (a shopping street) and St. Stephen's and a walking distance to everywhere. The next block had a McDonald's and a Billa Supermarket so you won't have a problem with supplies. You could tell the hotel was quite old because they had an old fashioned door within a door kind of thing which was a 1st for me. But the hotel was refurbished nicely. I actually thought it would be an old one based on the picture but the actual hotel was great! We loved Vienna and would surely stay here again!

Stayed at the San Souci Wein for 3 days with my wife and 22 year old daughter. I must admit that the Hotel is usually a bit pricey but I got a great deal on a room rate for Jr. Suite with real beds for 3 adults, which can be hard to find. Our room had a full bath (with a chandelier!) and a separate half-bath as well which really helped with 3 people in the room. Anyway, the location is fabulous, right across from the Modern Museum and the Leopold Museum, which, as a side note, are in a great courtyard area with cool cafes and outdoor lounging areas. The Hotel is in easy walking distance to everything in Inner Stadt but it is also about a half block from a train station so you can really get around fast and easy with train pass. This also helps because it was really hot even in June. In the other direction there are lots of vintage shops and eateries too. Just a great location! The staff was great and very helpful. Definitely get breakfast included or at least eat at the Restaurant there because the breakfast and service are to die for. They have a bar on site which is a nice place for a respite but it is small and sometimes they have wine tastings so you sit in an adjacent room. Very nice. Great collection of whiskies and drinks. I did not use the spa but my daughter did and said it was the best spa she has ever been to, and she has been to quite a few believe me.

the hotel is worthy of its' star rating. On arrival we were greeted by a young receptionist with excellent English skills, who was very courteous and polite. initial reaction to the hotel was it was done to a reasonably high standard and cleanliness was obvious high on the agenda. when we got to our room again we were very happy with the size and general condition of the room. however there were two issues, the first was the fact there was no toilet role in the room. as there was a bedroom staff still in our corridor I asked her for toilet paper. unfortunately she had none and offered me a half used box of tissues as a substitute. a telephone call to the reception was needed to redress the situation. the second issue was the table lamp on the dresser which would not light as the bulb was gone. again nothing major as we didn't really need it but as housekeeping were meant to pick these up it marked the hotel down a slight notch. Would I go back again? absolutely I would and I would recommend it to others. a big advantage it has is its' proximity to the train station and the bus plaza which is excellent if you have to fly into Munich to make it to Salzburg. if you want to go out of the city all buses run from the plaza or its' proximity.

Hotel is really near the metro station so it's very good reachable from the city center. Room was large and simply furnished but it was nice and modern. Beside other usual facilities was in the room also Nespresso machine. Bathroom was also large and nice and without any doubt clean. Reception desk staff was helpful but a little bit unpleasant and a hotel surroundings was noisy at night. But overall is this hotel really great choise for a weekend staying in Vienna.

One of the best hostel we had been in our one month Europe trip. The location is good as it is located just beside the main train station and with several trams around. The staffs are very helpful, energetic and friendly. The kitchen is fully equipped and very big, which can accommodate for many people to cook together. Everything is very systematic and new in this hostel. They even have a door at each floor to filter the noise from the common room. We will definitely recommend this hostel to everyone!!

The staff at Sofitel Vienna Stephansdom Hotel were very welcoming, helpful, efficient and attentive to customers' needs. Dining at the restaurant on the highest level (Le Loft) was memorable; there's such a panoramic view of the area. Food and service were great too. The bed was truly very comfortable such that it was difficult getting out of bed each morning. The only snag was the TV. Changing of channels was painfully slow. On our first night, we had some issues with the TV set. But the hotel compensated for this inconvenience with welcoming drinks for two at the bar which is beside the restaurant at the highest level. This little gesture speaks volume of the hotel's efforts in making customers feel welcomed and valued. There is a steak house called El Gaucho, at the ground level just outside the hotel premise but still within the building. This provides another choice for dining beside Le Loft at the highest level.

My family and I booked this hotel quickly right before we arrived. We had to move from our airbnb after seeing it. This hotel was very clean and a pleasant stay. The A/C worked in one of the twin rooms we had, but not the other. Not super close to downtown Vienna, but close to a tram stop and metro stop, so it doesn't take too long to get where you want to be with a ticket.

Was in Innsbruck for a honeymoon stop over. Arrived early in the morning at 4am, and thou check-in is available only after 11am, the staff still allowed us to check in at 4am and this gives us a great time to rest before moving out later in the morning Room was spacious and also clean. Bed was comfortable and the chrome equipments in the room were very well maintained and couldnt see any fingerprints which shows the quality of the housekeeping Staff were courteous and knowledgeable and provided info to us on the sights to see and directions around Great hotel, which is easily accessible as it is just infront of the train station. Safety were ensured as the main door was locked after dark with only access for guests Close proximity to the town center which is within walking distance Value for money and comfort. Great breakfast. Only drawback is slow internet access which can be compensated by the comfort of the room and service quality
