CityInn Hotel Taipei Station Branch 1 was truly a hidden gem (SO NEAR FROM TAIPEI STATION. From the outside, it may look simple and unassuming, but the service and amenities were outstanding. Before check-in, the staff kindly allowed us to store our two large suitcases while we took a trip to Jiufen — a huge relief since dragging luggage up and down the Jiufen steps would’ve been a nightmare! Even better, they let us use the hotel facilities — restrooms and the drink/snack station — so we could freshen up before catching our bus (which conveniently departs nearby). When we returned, we were pleasantly surprised to find a free in-house laundry room with two washers and dryers available for guests. The complimentary drink/snack station was also well-stocked, with a coffee machine and even a milk tea dispenser — such a treat! Instant noodles are provided after 9pm-6am - if you need a late night snack and are too lazy to go down to Family Mart (located just downstairs). The rooms are on the smaller side, especially if you have two large suitcases, but the bed was very comfortable and the shower had fantastic water pressure (SO good!). I had mentioned in their feedback form that the hairdryer wasn’t strong, and they even followed up by email to let me know stronger dryers are available upon request — how thoughtful! This hotel truly goes above and beyond for its guests. I really appreciated their kind and attentive hospitality, and I’d definitely stay here again.

I love the vicinity and the convenience that your hotel offers. Since it's just a few minutes walk from the MRT, we were able to explore many places in Taipei easily. Our hotel room's clean and cozy. The amenities were refilled everyday and even if we didn't request to make up our room, the housekeeper was very kind to include our room for cleaning everyday. The full length windows let in light which gave the room a bright, airy feel. The toilet is spacious and the shower area has a glass door which kept the rest of the toilet dry. Best of all, the wc has a heated toilet seat with bidet. Facilities wise, we loved the use of the washing machine and dryer (the hotel has 2 of each), with detergent supplied too. Instant cup noodles were also available in the pantry between 10pm and 6am which helped when we did not have time to have breakfast outside. Our room, 702 in Branch 1, is smaller than a similar-type room in Branch 3, though. The light, contemporary decor and the brightly lit reception are welcoming. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful in addressing our needs/requests. The nearest exit to the hotel from the underground network in Taipei Main Station is Z6 (stairs). Lift access is between Z2 & Z4. In that section of the station, between Z3& Z5, you can find the Li Yi brand of pineapple cakes which is one of the more popular ones.

Stayed for 2 nights of my Taiwan trip recently and wish I had booked it for longer! Comfy, cosy, clean, conveniently located near Taipei Main Station. Staff were very welcoming and hospitable; offered us bottled water once we reached and were dropping off our luggage’s before check-in. Also told us that we could borrow the umbrellas when it was raining the next day. So kind! They were also helpful in answering our queries. The cherry on top is that it’s value-for-money. Definitely coming back when I’m in Taipei again!

“Heartfelt Hospitality in the Heart of Taipei: A Birthday Stay to Remember”
We stayed at CityInn Hotel Taipei Station Branch I for my mom’s birthday trip, and I have to say it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve had. The location is a huge win. It’s right next to Taipei Main Station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around the city. Step outside and you’re surrounded by everything you need: a Starbucks across the street, a McDonald’s, Mitsukoshi mall, Cong Caphe, and even a Michelin Bib Gourmand spot just a few steps away. You won’t run out of food options, that’s for sure. What truly made the stay special was the hospitality. I mentioned to the front desk that it was my mom’s birthday and our first time in Taipei. Nina and Wendy went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even surprised us with a room upgrade. That kind of thoughtful gesture meant a lot. The hotel also has a cozy pantry area where you can enjoy unlimited milk tea, coffee, and a selection of teas anytime during your stay. If there’s one small thing I’d wish for, it’s a bigger area with tables where guests can comfortably enjoy late-night snacks or unwind after a long day. Overall, we had everything we needed and more for a smooth and comfortable stay. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended. 🌟
