"Apart from the rather sluggish wifi connection, the hotel exceeded all my expectations. The room was great, breakfast spread was filling with great variety, and the staff (especially housekeeping and front desk) were prompt, attentive and quick to serve. I have stayed at several different hotels in Manila and would highly recommend St Giles. It's also a stone's throw away from the night life. But if you have guests who drive, then be prepared for a rather narrow, small and very limited car park."

"the oyster plaza hotel fits the bill when you need an airport hotel for a night. it's affordable and their free shuttle service to and from the airport (any terminal) is awesome. rooms are small and basic but comfortable. we ordered a late night snack and found it very good too (is food ever bad in the philippines?). there is also a near by mcdonalds and a chow king if that takes your fancy. there seemed to be a number of security guards patrolling the complex so i am guessing the place is pretty safe. the staff were always friendly and helpful. all in all, a very convenient airport hotel in manila for the budget traveler. i would choose it again."

"This is a great airport hotel in Manila. The domestic terminal (Terminal 3) is right across the street (can't walk to it, however). Terminal 1 (international) and Terminal 2 (Philippine Airlines) is just down the road. As long as traffic isn't bad, it should take too long to get to T1 or T2. A free airport shuttle is available on-the-hour 24 hours a day. Note that there is a separate bus for each terminal. The hotel is also right next to Resort World and Casino, which has a shopping mall, casino, and slew of up-scale restaurants. A 7-11 and McDonald's is also at the base of the hotel. Check-in and out was very easy. The staff are very helpful. They even helped me print a document for free. The rooms are a bit small, so if you have a lot of baggage, the room might feel a little cramped. The internet is ok for Philippine standards. The only major issue with the hotel is the noise. With major construction on one side and busy roads on the other sides, it's not the quietest of environments. A high floor room might be better. Overall, it's a nice hotel that feels new and modern. I'd stay again. Once all the construction is done in the area, it will be better."

"@ Well we stayed in so many Tune Hotels , but this one is the newest and close to the airport so we will be back many more times to come . Rooms are a little bit bigger then in the other Tune Hotels , actually there not yet restaurants in this area but they will soon open there , there is still some construction noise in the Hotel from Morning 10.00-to 04.00pm ....not a big deal . Noise from outside is to hear from the opposite building but it is not a big deal so all in all our stay was OK . Just one think i see when i book this hotel is that the prices are changing very fast . we payed 23 € a night what is OK but now i checked our next dates they ask 46€ and that is too much . there are other Hotels in Manila to book at this price . Also one think tu remind is the problem to get a taxi ....06.oo pm for ex , in the case you must got to the airport d ont leave too late "

"We have recently used Midas hotel three times during our trips to Manila, primarily because our early flight back to Japan requires us to spend a night in Manila before departing. Very nice hotel with nightly entertainment and casino inside. The price is reasonable for a Manila hotel, and about 15 minutes to the airport (traffic depending). Sometimes we arrive late and don't want to go out....they have great room service with a variety of delicious filipino dishes, although not cheap by local standards. They offer breakfast, but since we are normally checking out between 0500-0530, they provide a packed breakfast (i.e. sandwich, fruit, water, yogurt, danish). Overall good service."

"this is my 8th visit to philippines and i've stayed at 12+ different hotels, 6+ of them 4/5 stars. for value and location this is by far the best hotel in manila. you can save a little more at other hotels in the neighborhood, but end up walking a bit or taking a taxi to entertain yourself. you can spend a lot more money, get more amenities and more comfort, but again, spend some time to get yourself entertained. shangri-la for example is a better hotel, but you will pay for it. dusit sometimes might be cheaper, but it is a cheaper (feel) hotel in what seems to be a back alley. through agoda, you can get excellent deals. for price, location, comfort and safety new world makati is 5 star all the way and an excellent value"

"if you came from anywhere in Manila and you have an early flight the next day and you need a place to rest and watch tv and have hot shower before the flight: this is the hotel for you! love the fact that the people here are friendly and helped us book a taxi.. If you are using a regular taxi, it's less than 100 to the airport but if you use Grab/ Uber, it's 125 or more... love it here! will definitely use the hotel again! "
