"My husband and I chose Hyde Park Executive Apartments for the location and the price. I was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews but it was the perfect spot for 2.5 days of sight seeing in London. The hotel room/studio/apartment is simple but newish/modern, very spacious and clean so it suited us fine. Our room was located on the ground floor but it was tucked away and very quiet. Sure, the bed wasn't a king size bed but queen / double sized beds in Europe tend to be smaller in general so we had already expected this so it was fine. You are not paying a 5 star star price so don't expect 5 star accommodation. We had a car with us but as we didn't want to use it in London, we simply parked it in the public car park on the next street for the 2 days and only travelled on foot , bus or train. The station and bus stops were easily accessible from the hotel. Overall, this hotel was extremely good value for money considering we would normally stay at a 4/5 stay place but decided that it just wasn't worth it in London. This hotel was decent and we were very pleased with it. "

"Strand Palace Hotel is the most convenient hotel in London. I have been staying there almost every couple of years for around 30 years. Rooms are very small but that is old London and you enjoy the charm of this place. Not cheap at all but the standard is matches the price. Very old fashioned, charming, old English if that’s what you like b"

"Cheapest place I have ever found to stay in London and the location couldn't have been any more convenient for getting around central and west London (Paddington station is literally a 1 minute walk away). The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. I did not have breakfast so couldn't comment on the food and there was not an option to mark Food/Dining as N/A on the review. The hotel interior is a little old tired with no lift (I was on the top floor so that was 6 flights of stairs every time I went up and down) and the rooms are small and basic but it is clean and comfortable. For the price I paid you cannot get better in London. I have paid a lot more for much worse in other hotels supposedly in a better category. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel or to book again for myself."

"This time, I wanted to find out nice hostel in London. I did use first time this hostel. As I did operation after, I was really worried about . But this hostel wa great that they reserved lower room and just 4 bed room and shower room was big and shower condition was very great! They were also leave message on the bed for this bed was reserved for Miss. ...... It was very good hospitality. It was like normal hotel service. Only one thing , this hostel was standing side by main road, so it was very noisy. Only that, this hostel had problems. But other things were almost perfect! I will use use this hostel again! "

"This hotel is often full; no wonder given the appalling standard of a lot of London hotels in this category. The Mowbray is a bit of a surprise inside. The common areas are light, fresh and guest friendly. The rooms vary: some are VERY small, but still adequate, while others are quite roomy. All have modern bathrooms, which is a real relief, although I would say that a bit of attention to cleaning detail now will save a lot of unnecessary maintenance later. The staff are reserved but always helpful. The location is perfect being just around the corner from Earls Court Station and busy, bustling Earls Court Road. I would definitely recommend this hotel in the three-star category; however, sometimes the price is on the high side. Book early to get value for money. "

"lovely stay at the Z, great service by the staff during our trip last weekend. able to drop our bags off in the morning before check-in to go round london. free cheese and wine every night between 5-8pm which is always busy and a lovely atmosphere in a boutiquey hotel and dining area. the rooms are small which is expected for a building of its size but more than enough when your visiting london as your out throughout the day and evening. beds were good though. typical modern hotel glass bathroom/shower area but the sink area is small and awkward but good shower. full sky tv in the rooms too with all the channels which is great and free wifi which is added bonuses as most chain hotels charge for wifi and dont have full tv package. air con unit is locked and can only change the temp but our room didnt get cold for the temperature and windows cant be opened so was a bit warm but fine but maybe the unit needed a check/service. would definitely stay here again though as for the price and location and free extras its unbeatable and its only a couple mins walk from traf square so your saving money you would spend on a cheaper hotel further outer london needing to get tube/train into central london. great service by all the staff too!!"

"If you love aviation like I do, you will love this hotel.. get a room with a view of the runway! could have stayed in my room all day just watching planes take off and land at Heathrow. But I didn’t pick this hotel just because I wanted to see planes take off and land.. it’s just one of my personal treats. The location is very convenient if you need to be near the airport. You can walk from the hotels second floor, through an indoor walkway directly into T4. The staff were very kind and friendly. Breakfast was awesome. The rooms, despite being right next to Heathrow were very well insulated and you wouldn’t hear a sound from the outside. Overall very happy and would definitely stay here again. "
