"We had a great stay at Nest. Naturally it is spotless and fresh being new but it was also in a great location, very close to transport and only two stops from the main station plus very close to shops and restaurants and well as easy access to all the sights. Was travelling with a friend who was also impressed. Probably the best hotel we stayed in in Japan over a 2 week period. "

"This APA hotel is a new APA hotel in Hiroshima (they have another one nearer to hiroshima station) and it can be hard to find if you do not know how to navigate the underground exits from Hiroshima station, though once you get there, it's actually relatively easy. Staff was able to speak English and were kind and helpful. The room has a big TV and everything was clean, tidy and in place. There seem to be Hiroshima delicacies available for takeaway right at the hotel lobby restaurant, though I did not try. Highly recommend this place."

"This hotel had a beautiful presentation in the lobby, bar, and restaurant. The rooms were sparkling and new, but very tight. The staff was great and spoke English! Location is excellent, a stones throw from the Peace Park, shopping, and restaurants. I never eat at the hotel restaurant, but I am sure glad I did. It was one of the most exceptional meals I’ve had in Japan. "

"We (couple with 1yr old daughter) looked for a place for a night on miyajima, according to all of the recommendations we heard. Livemax resort was one of the only ones left, so we booked with-ought much expectations. The place was amazing. From the start you can see it’s very high standard. Sparkling clean, big comfortable rooms, wonderful staff and good location. What more can you ask? Good facilities (onsen looked great but we didn’t try, the private (with extra pay option) sounded great. We almost skipped breakfast because of the horrible reviews we read, but eventually tried it - it was one of the best breakfast meals we had in japan. It’s true - the prices aren’t cheap, but we felt like we got much more than we expected. Can’t understand the mediocre reviews, the place is a 9+. Oh yes - we accidentally booked a triple room instead of a double + baby, so they corrected us and gave us a refund. Thanks :)"

"I was very impressed with this hotel. (1) It is located across the road from the JR Hiroshima Station and there is a walkway over the road. (2) The staff were very helpful and patient. (3) The hotel was only opened a month ago, so everything looks brand new, (3) The rooms are the biggest I have encountered with luxurious tap fittings including a large separate rain shower head, a hand held shower head and a good sized bath, (4) The view of the city is outstanding from the 18 floor. (5) there are many high quality restaurants on the 1 and 2 floor of the hotel complex and in the 1 and 2 floor of the station . A great breakfast is also served on the 20 floor. The reception desk is on the 13 floor. There are two Daiwa hotels in Hiroshima, so make sure you go to the right one. This hotel is such good value for money, that I will be extending for another few days. "

"This is a Very Convenient hotel near all major sighteseeing spots in Hiroshima. Comfortable rooms with excellent breakfast buffet (delicious !) but same food every day for the last 6 days. Our room at high floor overlooking the Hiroshima Castle and the city of Hiroshima, which was excellent and splendid. The location is 2 mins walk to Hiroshima Bus station which has all transportations needed to all the japan major cities and airport express. The hotel is near to Sogo and major shopping arcades. The one weakness is that only 2 electric plugs available in the room. Other than that the hotel is excellent."

"Great location - a short 10min walk to Hiroshima JR station and also downtown Hondori street. You can choose to walk to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Hiroshima Castle or you can take a short bus ride. GoogleMap will provide the details to the bus services to hop on. Our room was a pleasant surprise! There was a nice sitting area overlooking the river by the hotel. Size of the room was a bonus too! Everything is provided. Including daily changes of kimono for you to sleep in. There's even a bathtub for a soak. Breakfast was basic. A yoghurt, a tiny sub sandwich and a hot drink (coffee/tea). The cafe overlooks the river, rather pleasant place to have afternoon tea. Staff of the hotel were amazing. Extremely helpful and cheery! :) Only feedback for the hotel : For a busy hotel like this - One washing machine and one dryer is certainly not enough for all the guests. Particularly when there is a time restriction to the usage of the machines (understandably so as they are next to rooms). And also, the dryer is not powerful enough to dry half load of laundry. We had to dry ours for over 4hrs. "
