Near Keisei Ueno Station”

Near Ueno-Okachimachi subway station and Keisei Ueno, only 10 minutes walk away. The small child stays for free but the bed may be narrow if sleeping with parents. The 3.5-foot bed comes with daily towel change and room cleaning (customers must hang the sign on the door before 11:00 am). The housekeeping team is very friendly and helpful, and there are also Thai staff.

A hotel with extremely high cost-performance ratio!”

This hotel is located near Ueno Hirokoji, which is quite convenient for taking the subway. There are also convenience stores and local supermarkets nearby where you can buy daily necessities, and there are many restaurants around where you can eat. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic and professional, and the room is quite comfortable to sleep in! The only downside is that the bathroom facilities are a bit small, and the bathtub is too narrow for an adult male. Other than that, the room has everything you need, and there's not much to complain about~

The Centurion Hotel Ueno is a delightful little hotel perfectly situated for exploring the city. Its proximity to the train station is a major plus, making it a breeze to arrive and depart. The hotel is also surrounded by a vibrant array of restaurants and shops, offering endless options for dining and shopping. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room, while compact, was impeccably clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the room's size does limit its functionality as a workspace, so it's best suited for those looking for a cozy place to rest their head after a day of touring and exploring. Overall, the Centurion Hotel Ueno offers exceptional value for its prime location and friendly service. It's an excellent choice for travelers seeking a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the city.

Good hotel but the area SEEMED bad”

Hotel staff were helpful and commentating even helped me dispose of my suitcase that the airport had beaten over the years. While the single elevator in the second building where I stayed seemed a little annoying it wasn’t that bad. Would not recommend using the washer and dryer as the washer seemed to be out of soap (clothes had no smell to them good or bad) and the dryer left my clothes damp after over an hour of drying. Room was decent sized and clean easily fitting my 2 suitcases. My room didn’t have a great view but I’m sure the upper floors would. The area around the hotel is FILLED with clubs, bars, and food places. During the day everything seems deserted but at night there are tons of people. Lot is girls outside holding signs to invite you into their bars or clubs. Several bouncers around keeping out anyone unwelcome. At first it seems a bit daunting but I soon realized they’re just doing a job and we’re not aggressive. After the first night I actually realized almost all of them would just ignore me completely (probably a race thing from what I was seeing online).
