Decent but rather expensive”
Brick House Furano was a change of accommodation typing amidst my trip around Hokkaido. I've been staying at hotels and ryokans all the while and a sudden switch to a BnB style accommodate definitely did bring some pros and cons. I would recommend this place to anyone self-driving around Furano should it be the cheapest option fitting your budget. Pros: 1) Access to cooking facilities and utensils as opposed to hotels/ryokans 2) Home-style accommodation which feels more cosy 3) More amenities provided than a standard hotel chain or ryokan 4) Located in a quiet district where locals live Cons: 1) Toilet was very small, 20% smaller than standard Japanese toilets which are small to begin with. To gauge the size, just lift both your arms straight to the left and right of you respectively and thats roughly the space you are getting for a toilet with both the shower, toilet and sink all cramped within. 2) 30% more expensive than hotel chains and ryokans I've stayed at for 1 night.

Brick house in furano was lovely! It is a cute little place that feels very homely and cosy. We were able to communicate well with the owner who was a very friendly and thoughtful person. He gave us tips on where to eat in this little town.

Friendly owner and pretty house”
The house is really pretty! I like it! And the owner helped me a lot. When I want to buy melon made in Hokkaido, he told me where have supermarket which near the house the most. When I can’t found melon at that supermarket, he drove me to go for all supermarket in Furano even final can’t buy melon. But his action make me feel so warm because he hasn’t responsibility to do it. On the other hands, he also is a good guider. He really know about the check point of Furano if you pay some, he can drive you to play around.

Good stay and helpfull host”
Would love to come back for more of Furano. The location just a walking distance frm the Kitanomine Gondola Zone, and few bus stops nearby. Mr Shinojima has been very helpful n attentive, our first day he give us a ride to the New Furano Prince hotel and on the last day he called us a taxi to the Central. Wish we could stay longer. The only thing we find it difficult is the transportation..but if you know the shuttle schedule between the New furano prince hotel and kitanomine shouldnt be a problem. Shuttle is free of charge. Thank you Mr Shinojima.

Although the brick house was not very convenient (if there is no car), we really enjoyed our stay as the room was amazing clean and accurate to the photos. The owner of the house was very friendly, and took the time to explain everything to us in detail.

The owner was very kind and helpful. He is also very responsive when you need assistance. The location is about a 10 minute walk to Furano ski resort. Not far from 7-eleven and bus stops. It's a nice small place, probably for a solo or couple. Bathrooms are very small but over all it has everything you need.

Cute Little Brick House”
Like the name suggests, you get to stay in a cute little Red Brick House. with tiny bathroom. It's located very near to the ski resort and walking distance to 24hr convenient store (Not recommended in snowy winter nights, lol). There is only one staff, he does not speak much English but he is very helpful and there are instruction booklets in English.

We didn't know that chilidren are not allowed in this house stay. However the owner is nice enough to allow us to do so with extra charges. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It is a very nice and cosy brick house stay.

Cozy and unique”
It is a small family business guesthouse. Clean and tidy enough, we enjoyed stay over there. Well prepared kitchenware - was a bonus for us to cook our own meal. The owner speaks very good English and gave us a warm welcome. He briefed us on everything we needed and was very helpful with our questions. Comfy bed. Cozy and nice interior, we loved the pinewood wall.

Great place to stay. Owner very friendly and helpful. My kids love the bunk bed so much and we missed the place. Very clean and tidy. Near to 7-11 store as well.
