Where to stay in Baoshan
Baoshan hotels & accommodations
The staffs were very friendly, but they just speak English a little. If you don’t speak Chinese, it will be difficult to make a conversation with them. And there was no refrigerator and there is nothing to do as like a fitness gym and swimming pool. Only room but location good there is a subway station near the hotel and several restaurant near the hotel.
Actually, we were not able to stay at this hotel. We arrived at around 2am. It was indicated on our voucher that we'll be arriving late due to our flight schedule. When we arrived, I presented the voucher to the receptionist. I don't know what she and the other staff were talking about because they can't speak in English. But although they were kind to us, offered us a...
I was already half-regretting my booking when on check-in they refused my card. After a friend tried to pay for it, we discover it was a faulty card reader. They couldn't even tell that this was the problem. The hotel itself is beautiful with spacious rooms in a location hidden away in an immaculately curated office district. The hotel has a penchant for hiding things...
Unfortunately, none of the staff members speaks/understands any English at all, so communication was somewhat difficult. My room was rather dirty (especially the bath) and the food was below average (for Asian standards in particular).
I have stayed two weeks with my kids and we really liked, Great service, Great Rooms, Very Comfortable beds, I loved the shower. BUT deffinately need an upgrade the WiFi. Almost WiFi is non existent and very very slow to use it. The location is a Off the Beaten Path and its a walking distance from West Yingao Rd Subway Station.
Room is good. All facility are provided. Air con control is not that smart as I thought.. No shops nearby. There is only one supermarket downstairs.
This little gem of a hotel was really pleasant to stay at for a one or two day adventure mini-vacation still in Shanghai proper on Metro Line 7 Orange (end of the line, 5 minute taxi ride for 15 rmb) yet it felt like a different world. We had to keep pinching ourselves that the hotel was under US $30 per night, for the art was lovely and amazing, the room was spacious...
We booked this place on the basis of the pictures on this page, but they weren't exactly accurate. Our 'Deluxe Double' room was smaller and plainer than expected, and indeed than most of the others we caught a glimpse of when open for cleaning. Overall, the hotel itself gave off a bit of an slapdash/unfinished feel, lacking polish in execution of the details - dark, du...
The best location. The best choice for short and long stay.
Close to subway, clean, and breakfast for 2 persons was a good surprise to us!
Although the hotel is next to the university, nobody of the staff speaks just a little bit English. This is really bad if you have a problem to talk about. The rooms are not in a good situation. "Free Wifi" only if you install a really bad Mobile-APP with tons of advertisement, not possible for foreigners to get it running. At least a LAN port is in the rooms, my was n...
