Great location in Taipei and a typical W style”

I've been staying at W Taipei for twice and this is the 3rd time I stayed there for my Taipei trip. I am a big fan of W Hotels thus always put W on my priority list when I travel different cities around the world. The W Taipei, as what you can expect for all W Hotels in the world, is more like a Night Club rather a hotel. It locates at the most happening place of Taipei City - the Xin Yi District which full of restaurants, shopping malls, and night clubs. You can walk to the landmark Taipei 101 Tower within 15 min and some of the guest rooms are facing to the 101 Tower with a very nice city view. There is a popular night club Woo Bar at the hotel lobby level which is quite a happening place in Taipei, thus you may see lots trendy people in the evening for clubbing and even in the day time for afternoon tea. As you may expect, therefore, it is quite noisy in the evening. Some of the rooms with the Pool view could be quite noisy since the outdoor club is beside the pool. I actually had an experience before that it was quite noisy even in the guest room on high level floor until mid night, thus you may not be able to have a good rest in the room. If you are not staying at W Taipei for experiencing the night life, I would recommend not to select the poolside rooms to avoid the noise. The hotel breakfast is relatively expensive and I encourage travelers to explore the neighborhood area for the dinning places. Anyway Taipei is a city that full of place to eat and there are quite a lot nice and value-for-money dinning places. But W Taipei is still a place you would like to stay if you prefer trendy and modern style of life.

W Hotel Taipei - my home at Taipei”

I have stayed at W Taipei Hotel for more than twelve times. Booking: Ms Amy Tseng, the Guest Experience Manager, helped me with the room booking and restaurant booking. Arrival: Upon arrival, a very lovely lady, Ms Karen Chan, welcomed me. Karen was the Guest Experience Team Leader of W. Out of my surprise she spoke fluent Cantonese. Karen explained that she was a fellow Hongkonger who was posted at W Taipei. No wonder I always feel W Taipei my home at Taipei. Food: Both Yen and Kitchen Table served excellent food and beverages. Spa: Connie, Mandy and a trainee at the Reception of the Away Spa were friendly and cheerful. Rita was my favorite therapist. I felt totally relaxed after the Spa treatment. Departure: After spending three days at my home at Taipei, I had to leave. To comfort my sadness, Ms Jennifer Lai, the W Insider, met me in person at the reception and wished me a smooth flight and a quick revisit. Gratitude: Thanks to all the staff at W Taipei.

Luxury hotel at great location in Taipei”

We loved W Taipei, and the hotel was excellently located in Xinyi area. Three malls are within close proximity to the hotel. The room was amazing, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and professional. Many shops, malls and restaurants are around the hotel neighbourhood. Everything is perfect, and we will definitely consider staying at the W again for our next trip.

Nice place with lots of potential but can improve”

We were curious about the W Taipei since reviews online were mixed. We requested an early check in since our flight arrived super early, but had breakfast before arriving at a more reasonable time. The check-in staff were unable to accommodate an early check in (okay with me but would've been nice) and were honestly a little brash in their mannerisms with some other guests (I watched in shock as they gave a couple a hard time over which credit card they should/could use?! Nasty and quite unprofessional...) After whiling away time outside the hotel, we received a phone call around 2PM that our room was ready. They gave us a nice room so that was nice... Do note that the bathroom is somewhat open-concept and although some louvre doors can be closed, there will be a section of the wall right smack in full view of the shower that leaves you able to stare at the person having a shower! Oops! Not so good for travelling with company and could potentially result in some red faces. We noticed early on, so no problem. The room is beautiful and nicely laid out. The hotel prides itself on being somewhat club-ish - the other reviews are right. Loud music. You're met with in-your-face club music piped in everywhere. If you're hoping to have a conversation or a nice chill bar, go elsewhere! The staff at the bar are nice and friendly but unfortunately always seemed to have to say they were full - space constraints - the lounges here are SUPER small!!! They do have a sauna/hot tub room, which is nice. Overall, concierge guys are awesome, proximity to Taipei 101 and other department stores is nice, super close to MTR but we always took taxis. 24 hr gym is nice.

W Taipei - my second home”

I have stayed at W Taipei for a few times. The atmosphere is always lively and cheerful. Ms. Debbie Chen, W Taipei Insider, leads a team of energetic and friendly staff. The housekeepers like Tina, Eva are always friendly and helpful. The Gym and Spa are superb. My favorite therapist is Rita. The location is excellent. I can reach any parts of Taipei via the MRT (subway) which is only 5 minutes of walk. W Taipei is my second home indeed!

best hotel in taipei, chic and trendy as always”

always loved W hotels and this is no exception. located in the new district of taipei 101, the hotel has perfect location and the staff was very attentive and they all look smart. food was okay, not the best breakfast i had in hotels but i guess it was ok. the drinks at woobar is better than those in hk w hotel.check in and check out procedure was quick.

Been to many 5 stars hotels around the world, I must say W Taipei is one of the best hotels yet, all the staff are professional and friendly with flawless service throughout the stay, the hotel is conviently located next to Taipei City Hall MRT station I would highly recommend W Taipei Hotel when in Taipei

Quirky and Modern”

Location is great being at the center of the Xinyi district. All the large shopping malls are at your doorstep. On the other side you also have access to the traditional stalls and street foods within walking distance. Staff at hotel are great and speak proficient English. The room itself isn’t as luxurious as the rate reflected but modern and clean nonetheless.

Hip and trendy Urban hotel”

The W hotel is a definite must to try. We love the location, the staff and all the facilities like the room, the amenities. The bed are fabuluous, really had a good night sleep there. The hotel is very Hip and modern, coming in the entrance we were greeted by young and energetic concierge, full of smile and very helpful. The rooms are very modern and chic, lighting is very well design, mostly spots and uplighter, the bathroom is very zen, water perfect and the "bliss" amenities are of high quality. The woo bar is the perfect place for night party and few cocktails. will definetely stay there again on our next visit to Taipei

Addicted to W! ”

Staying in W Taipei is probably one of the highlights of my trip. I spent a considerable time in the room enjoying bubble baths and having my favourite songs played through the docking stations availabe. You can get a good city view while sitting at the sofa which came with a nice warm blanket. The only downside to this hotel is that the lobby is always filled with people (mostly good looking ones :) ) heading to WOobar for a night out!

A impressive and awesome experience in W hotel”

It was a wonderful stay in W Taipei Hotel. The staffs are helpful and attentive. It was my birthday and they gave me a special birthday card. Well-designed and great quality of the room. Very modern and comfortable. Excellent location too. Close to the famous book store, big shopping malls, restaurants and 101 Tower.

Super. Hotel”

This was my second times stayed in W Taipei. It was great! Super great location and convenient. The hotel's room had an amazing view which is the famous Taipei 101 just right in front of your room windows. Also the breakfast dim sum at yen restaurant are perfect! Definitely will be back again!

W Hotel is no doubt one of the best I have ever stayed in. Rooms were really cosy and the design of the room is fantastic. Great location and close to all the famous night life of Taipei. Will be staying there again when I do travel to Taipei for work.

Everything good thing you know about W, W Taipei has it all. There are many other international hotels around the area, but W is definitely the best choice. Chic, Friendly staff, Great view, Amenities and Facilities all superb. What else to ask for?

Exceptional”

This is my 10th Check-in at W-Taipei. The staff is always great. To name a few, Debbie (Winsider), Lis (Rooms), Roy (Reception), Zelos (Welcome Desk) and Rita (Spa). Buffet at the Kitchen Table is great as usual. The view at Yen, the Chinese Restaurant was great. I shall aim for the 100th Check-in.

Came here upteenth times the W experience is truely great just the prices are a bit steep... but you pay for the excellence! in the middle of Xinyi area, surrounded by malls.... shop shop shop!!

Truly the most luxurious hotel”

W hotel Taipei has the best of everything...super comfortable and cozy bed/room, star-of-the-art gym, luxurious hotel decorations, very friendly/helpful/efficient staff, most happening woo bar, and to-die-for snacks and food, just to name a few. It is worth every cents we paid for.

thank you for kindness in all W employees. Me and my friend were had wonderful trip. I stayed in 30floors corner room. at 8th Aug.. It was so nice. but without terrible typhoon wind and rain. T.T Moreover I afraid about couldn't use swimming poolT.T (actually we bringed the 2 pairs of swiming suit) But it was greatest trip in my first Taipei visit)

W Taipei is ideally located in shopping district. Good for shopping dining and is a good base to explore Taipei. Clean and friendly staff with high standard.
