Very satisfying stay”

The hotel was really beautiful with wonderful hot spring facilities and a swimming pool. I had my five months old baby with me so I didn't really use the outdoor facilities but I really enjoyed the hot spring in my hotel bathroom^^ It takes a little while to get use to the smell of sulphur though... The hotel wasn't very close to town (about 10-15 min drive) but the hotel provides hourly shuttle bus to and from the MRT stations. I recommend eating out if you can as hotel restaurants were quite pricy. Breakfast buffet was okay. Overall, the room was nice and the service was excellent. My family really enjoyed our stay at Spring City Resort.

Accessible by MTR and nice rooms”

We arrived by MTR and walked to the top of the hill to the resort. Then we found out there was a shuttle bus from the MTR but we would have missed the Beitou Hot Spring Museum and the thermal valley if we didn't walk so it was ok. The room was spacious and clean. Flip flops and spa robes were provided. We enjoyed the outdoor pools for the whole afternoon and it was very relaxing. We didn't buy a meal plan so for dinner we took the shuttle to the MTR and went to Shilin Night Market and it was great. We enjoyed the hot spring tub in our room in the morning before we left. I recommend this hotel and would return again myself.

One night relaxing stay”

After 3 nights in Taipei city checked into this hotel in Beitou area for one night. Staff very attentive and helpful (upgraded to a better room). Choice of 8 outdoor pools of various shapes, sizes and temperatures was very enjoyable but I guess could become crowded at peak times. Our room was not in main hotel building, but just across the road. Seems to have been recently upgraded with tatami matting on half the room - highlight was large bathroom with own hot spring tub. Ate in restaurant - not much atmosphere and when the stay close at 9:30 they literally mean closed - no last orders or lingering over coffee ! Ideal for what we wanted. Didn't even venture out from hotel as there is a free shuttle bus from Beitou and Xiebeitou MRT stations.

the stay in spring city resort is excellent. the room is comfortable and big. hot spring facilities right inside the hotel bathroom. otherwise there is a public hot spring area too with many different types of hot spring to choose and relax in. the hotel's chinese restaurant's quality of food is high and the price is reasonable. shuttle bus service to beitou station, would be better if the shuttle bus frequency is higher. otherwise is possible to walk down to beitou station but would take around a 15 to 29 mins stroll. overall, pleasant experience at this hotel. would recommend.

Very good services ”

It a good hot spring place and ver close to city. 30mins to tam shui for good night market and deli foods. The hotel shuttle bus is small. You have arrange booking if you want to. The view is very good. The services is good well. Deli of self restaurant and very good breadfast buffet. If you love hot spring. Spring City Resort must be the one!

Excellent”

Excellent service from arrival to departure. Upon arrival the girl at the front door insist on taking my luggage from the taxi. Felt bad as the luggage probably weighted as much as she does. Check in process was a breeze. The room we reserved is a standard double with a king size bed. It's clean with a large bathroom. There is no view from the room as some have complained. I didn't care as I did not go there for the view. The in room hot spring soaking tub is excellent as wife and I took advantage of it every night. We also tried the outdoor hot spring pool. There are several pools of different sizes and design with different temperatures to suit your needs. They do make everyone wear a shower cap, I guess to keep the pumps free of long hair. I didn't notice the mosquitoes until our last day. They fed on me as I sat on the edge of a pool next to some shrubs. The free breakfast is good with many selections. It is 80% Chinese and Japanese with a small selection of vegetarian dishes in a separate location. Do not expect a big western style breakfast spread. The hotel is quiet and semi-secluded on a hill away from traffic, tour bus and noise. There is hourly shuttle service to the metro station down the hill where there are shops, public hot springs and restaurants. If you miss the shuttle, a taxi ride downhill is under $4 US. Unlike mainland China, the taxi drivers do not complain or refuse your fare because of the distance. The front desk uses a taxi app with gives you the car number and how many minutes until it arrives. We took taxi everyday and our wait is 4-7 minutes. Overall this is a nice hotel to relax and enjoy the hot springs.

the room is comfortable and big. hot spring facilities in and outside hotel room. hotel's chinese restaurant's price is reasonable if you don't want to leave hotel to go out for dinner after dipping in the hot springs during the evening. hotel provides shuttle bus service to beitou station, but it would be better if the shuttle bus frequency is higher (since the shuttle bus is like a 16-20 seater van and there is like a 20-30 lag between each shuttle bus service). otherwise is possible to walk down to beitou station, but would take around a 15 to 20 mins stroll downhill. overall, pleasant experience at this hotel. would recommend for those interested in trying out hot springs.

Great warm experience”

Pros: great outdoor family bath free for guests with 8 different types of pools. Free shuttle to MRT stations of Beitou and Xinbeitou but not mentioned or informed in agoda. Cons: Breakfast could have been better. Hotel rooms look abit old. In-room bath for hot spring very small. Overall enjoyable experience. Worthwhile for those who wanna have a great white sulphur hot spring experience in Beitou.

Nice hotel with for private hot spring! ”

Reasonable price for a nice private hot spring room. Location is a few mins drive from xin beitou station. Staffs are friendly & always ready to book a cab for you. But food wasn't that great. Overall still worth the price paid.

Lovely hotel with helpful staff”

Location is definitely not the selling point of this hotel, but taxi can be available easily (get the reception to call for you). Located somewhere in the middle of a highland, it has a nice view of nature with a lovely room. Service was excellent, staff was very willing to assist you & share information around Beitou. Although I did not have a great experience with the shuttle bus service (bus left without me when I told him I'm rushing to buy medicine), but overall still quite fine with me. Dining and hot spring bath are slightly steep (a plate of rice at about TWD280 and hot spring bath at TWD488). Other than these, everything's great and I recommend to couple who wants to rest their feet and enjoy a relax day in Taipei.

hotel with good facility in hot spring”

i plan to have a one day hot spring trip and so i looked for a resort hotel in there. And heard that spring city resort is one of the well known resort hotel in there. i tried their hot spring facilities which are very good. It offers lots of different kind of hot spring. And i feel really relaxing after taking the hot spring. However, since i booked it very lately and do not have other choice in choosing the room type. I chose the japanese style room type. May b i do not feel like sleeping in Japanese room because it does not have any bed. So if next i ll be there for hot spring, i will definitely choose normal room type esp with bed. And one point i need to mention is the service. one of my guest has lost her necklace when she back hong kong. And then i call back the hotel, and the hotel staff are really nice and efficient in helping me to search if it is still available in the hotel. and luckily they found it and help me to delivery to my hong kong place.

Nice and comfortable hot spring resort”

Although the resort hotel is quite far away from Taipei city, it is still easy to find as the hotel offers free shuttle bus services just outside the railway station. The outdoor hot spring is quite spacious with around ten pools for different treatments, the environment is very good and is fit for leisure trips. The staff is very polite and willing to offer help to the guests.

Good hotel at mid hill ”

Located at the mid hill of the way to the Beitou Museum and Zen Gardens where you can catch good views of Beitou, so either catch hold of the the hotel's free shuttle service (limited time slots) or be ready for some hill trekking. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel has many different designs of outdoor hot springs bath which are free for hotel guests. There are also private room which you can rent but there is no need as my room come with its own private hot spring bath big enough for 2 and you can choose from cold, hot or hot spring water. Definitely worth visiting if you prefer to avoid the crowded public hot springs.

Highly Recommend for Honeymoon or Couple Vacation”

The staffs at the check-in is super nice and helpful, even though we arrived 1hr early then the allowed check-in time, she still let us get our room earlier to settle-down. The room is spacious and there is a large bathtub inside room for hot spring. They offer shuttle bus from hotel directly to two metro stations but need to book in advance. If returning to the hotel from metro station, I recommend to take taxi from (Sin Bai Tau) 新北頭 metro as only costs TWD75 and no need to wait for shuttle bus with heavy shopping items. The buffet breakfast offers the most variety compare to other hotels I stayed for this honeymoon trip. They have a large outdoor hotspring tubs and guests can wear swimsuit to use, nice to go out and use at night. Highly recommended this hotel for couple vacation or honeymoon trip.

High quality service, a place to relax yourselves”

It is the second time we've been to the hotel. The reasons are manifold. Firstly, the staff support is good and they are polite and helpful. Besides, the outdoor spring facilities do make us relax from stress. Further, the breakfast offer is nice. The room is clean and tidy. You can also enjoy hot spring at your own room. The location is not convenient but frequent and free shuttle bus service solve the problem.

4 of us had the Japanese tatami room. My son loves it and he can choose the spot he sleeps. The size of the room is not particular big, but enough for us. We went in mid August, and we opt to go to the outdoor hot spring after dinner, which was nice (opens until 10pm). There were 9 different pools, (in different shape and temperature). 3 of the pool has built in Jacuzzi, 2 with water fall style to relax your shoulder and 2 cool pool. The breakfast was wide varieties, with lots of taiwanese specialty food, Japanese noodles, a cooking station (with hot noodle soup or fried / scrumble eggs), a vegetarian corner, a fruit / cereal / salad corner, etc. Convenience to take mini bus back to hotel, the stop was just next to Xinbeitou Metro station.

Excellent and Comfortable Hotel”

The environment of this hotel is excellent and must spend more time to enjoy the hotel's environment and facilities. We like most is the bath room (i.e. each bath room has an individual hot spring which can enjoy individually with privacy). The out-door hot spring is also excellent as there are numerous and different functions of hot springs for guest to try. The fitness centre equipped with various fitness machines and an out-door swimming pool with good view! Dinning is above average and the service from the staff are warm with smile

It's great to have the room which is quiet. The breakfast was wide variety so I was almost had the Taiwanese food all I wanted to eat. Really enjoyed the stay at the Spring City Resort.

Exceptional”

Staff were exceptionally accommodating,helpful and consistently pleasant ,making sure guest’s needs were addressed accordingly. Location of the hotel were very much appreciated.. a touch of nature makes it more relaxing and a feeling of serenity is perfect to unwind and rejuvenate. Hot spring bath tub in your private room is awesome!

Beautiful hot springs”

Great stay! We were very lucky as the hot springs were pretty much all for ourselves. They've got 9 different pools, different styles and temperature. We also had the private hot spring in our room which was great. The best? The friendliness of the staff! Bring a swimming cap for the swimming pool or you won't be able to use it.
