Good location services food and staff”

Location is central and on a famous food and shopping street. Easy access by friends. Services were excellent by all staff. Nice elegant decor. We had a suite with plenty of room. Whole decor is in dark side, wish it is brighter but okay. Washlet in our room was broken for 2 days out of 3 days stay, finally fixed on last day. Breakfast is good. Reception-breakfast area is big, we used it to host 6 friends for an after dinner late night gathering which was perfect.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room was clean, and breakfast was very good. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Perfect location”

Convenient location and it’s like 10 mins to major spots such as Xinyi area, Zhongxiao Dunhua (with many eateries and chic cafès). The room looks exactly like the photos and staff are friendly. Fresh fruits are offered every day. If you are sensitive to noises this may not be ideal as you can hear the noise coming from showers. Breakfast options are all right.

There is no in-room air conditioning ”

I was originally booked for four nights but left after the first night because there is no in-room air conditioning. The hotel has a central system that dictates the temperature of each room. Our first night we were on a top floor and the room was a very warm 25 degrees and there was nothing we could do to change this. The next day they moved us down to a lower floor because they said it would be cooler but it was still 23 degrees and again there was nothing we could do to change that. Taipei is very humid and hot so air conditioning is a must for us not only for comfort but for a good sleep as well. To me it is incredibly misleading that an otherwise nice hotel would have a key facilities defect like this. The staff was very kind and the hotel itself is nice and in a good location, but the air conditioning issue makes this hotel a definite no-go.

Inconsistent staff services; dark facilities and rooms; can't control room temperature”

We found the room, hallways, and facilities not having sufficient lighting. Breakfast staff very inconsistent. They appear to be front desk staff taking double duties as servers. One day we had no menu to order foods, next day we had the option to order multiple items from the menu, then the next day the staff told us we can order only 1 item from the menu. We could see some of them running around like chicken without head, yet tables were not tended and empty buffet trays not refilled. Room was small, but sufficient for what we needed. About 8 minutes walking to nearest MRT station. But the walking path has very narrow sidewalk. Especially difficult when raining. Fitness room on 9th floor with just 2 treadmills. It's so dark that there's no way to see the writings on the controls after sunset. Hallways also very dark. Very small and old elevator. Room temp is centrally controlled by staff; guests can't do it. Our room got so warm and there was nothing they could do.

Average quality”

Front desk had pre-assigned room and the key was ready before my late check-in (arrived after midnight). Went back three times to find out that the key is for another room. The interior is quite old and dim lighting, it does not give me an elegant or classic feeling but a little creepy.

Clean and Quiet ”

This is the hotel you should stay if you are looking for a clean and quiet room in Taipei. Walking distance to MRT station and busy shopping area.

our favourite Hotel Chain”

This is definitely a designer's hotel, so much effort has been pt in into the design. We love Les Suite in Shanghai hence we did not hestitated booking Les Suite Da-An which is the very first hotel by the same chain. Love the lounge we can can have a drink & snack all day long, the setting is inviting just like your living room at home. We love how the place is converted to a breakfast area in the morning. We were lucky to have Micheal the cab driver cum tour guide that is always outside at this hotel, he took us to many places for good street foods. The room that we stayed in was not big but everything else is almost perfect. wifi is available throughout the hotel for free. We will give Les suite Ching Cheng a try the next time we go back to Taipei.

Nice hotel with awesome staff”

I stayed at the Les Suites Da-an for 6 days. Don't be dismayed when the taxi drops you off on a quiet lane at the entrance of this hotel. This one turned out to be a little gem. I was quickly won over by the friendly and helpful staff. Shopping malls, restaurants and entertainment are just around the corner. 5 star quality once you get into your room. Loved the huge bed and the shower pressure. Although, Da-an can improve on th lighting and the shower door that has trouble keeping water in.

Nice quite hotel in the middle of town”

Le Suite Da An is a lovely boutique hotel around the Xin Yi area in Taipei. It is about 5 mins walk to the nearest MRT station which sits below the Sogo Dept store. It is also within 5 minutes of the Eslite 24 Hour bookstore, so there is something to do even in the wee hours of the morning. Staff in the hotel are excellent and very responsive to your needs. The hotel even provides a mobile phone for you and they are just literally a call away when you need any help.

Fantastic Service and Freat Location”

This is my first stay at Les Suites Da An Hotel. I have to say that this is the friedliest Service Hotel I encounter at Taipei. The service staff are very friendly, polite and willing to help you if you have any request or question. The location is great. You can find lots of restaurant near by and shopping is also good. The only cons are the price of the hotel is a bit expensive and the room (I am staying in Superior Room) is a bit small. The furnitures in the room are a bit dated. Other than that it is a very nice hotel to stay.
