Easily Accesible location...”

I'm a solo traveller staying there for just a night as i was there to watch a theatre @ the cultural center it took me abt 15mins to walk to the hotel as i arrived there in the early morning (my flight reached taiwan @ abt 6 in the morning..) upon reaching the hotel, i was glad that i was given a room though it was not time for checkin.. although the room given was abit small and may not be wat i've paid for but it was still acceptable for me(being alone & super tired after the flight & railway journey to chiayi).. the hotel was just mins away from the WenHua street night market... i would definately consider staying there again if i have the chance to return to Chiayi

Comfy room with all modern amenities in the heart of Chiayi ”

The hotel locates right in the heart of Chiayi with 10 min walking distance to night market and 5 mn walk to a nearby shopping center. The staffs were friendly and helpful in assisting us with making train reservation as well as booking for our car transportation to visit Alishan . The driver and guide of our group was Tom -the best with good English and professional service. He was referred to us by the hotel staff! Room were spacious and really comfortable. Even though Chiayi was a small town but this hotel offered the same if not better service as any big brand hotel in big city. Breakfast was just ok .

Best Value Hotel in Chiayi”

Checked in to this hotel after a horrible experience at another hotel in Chiayi. I wish I had stayed here from the beginning! Very friendly staff. Service was amazing. Large, clean room with a terrace. It's a bit far from the train station for walking but we managed to walk there in about 20 minutes, which was fine. It's a great location for the night market (only 5 min away) I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Chiayi.

Great option before Alishan Railway in morning”

This is a newer hotel in downtown Chiayi City. It is a 15 minute walk from the train station and is located close to the night market. A free shuttle is available to/from the train station. Call ahead to make reservations. I used this hotel as an overnight stay before taking the Alishan Railway the next morning. This was an excellent choice. There are some restaurants and coffee shops nearby and the Alishan Forest Railway Garage Park. For this size hotel, I thought the size of the breakfast buffet was amazing. It was the first time I saw iced coffee at a buffet. What they may have lacked in quality they made-up for it in quantity. There is also self-service washer and dryer available for the guests free of charge. Summary, this is an excellent hotel that make for a great overnight stay before taking the Alishan Railway.

Great experience ”

The location of this hotel is very good. The hotel is around 5mins walk to a shopping mall and a 24hrs convenience store. The night market is around 9 to 10mins walk. The bed is very comfortable and overall cleanliness are consider very good. The hotel also provide toothbrush, shaver and etc in the toilet which will be great if traveler forget to bring. Best of all is that they have a self-service laundry facility which is great. Breakfast was great. The selection of food are great. Lastly the staff are all very friendly and willing to serve. I will definitely choose this hotel when I’m back in Chiayi.

Free laundry facilities!”

We stayed here only one night on our way to Alishan. The hotel was about a 15 min walk from the bus stop on Wen Hua road. This road becomes a night market so it was good to see it in the day first. Hotel check in was easy, rooms spacious, good sized bathroom, and free laundry! This was a real bonus after traveling for a week already. There are 2 washing machines and 2 driers for use - for free. Breakfast was buffet-style and had mostly Chinese selections, with some toast and cereal. A good choice for a short stay in Chiayi.

Execellent service”

Stayed at Maison De Chine for a night and left with good memories of the services rendered by the hotel. The staff made us felt very welcomed and was very professional.

Very comfortable hotel”

Worth the value spent for this hotel. Wish we could stay longer. Quiet room and light was block out so well that we could sleep in. Free laundry service which was a bonus for those who are traveling for weeks. Very convenient location to night market and nearby shops. Good service from staffs! Recommended for those who are traveling to Chiayi!

Unexpected experience”

Well done, very great location to the city center WenHua night market and circle of ChiaYi city. During night time, walking to the night market and even day time, space are widely opened. Hotel facility is pretty standard because I have chose quite high level, expensive to treated my parents in law. Breakfast is just OK, Coffee is pretty awful. I would rather go 7-11 or family mart to get a cup of coffee. All staff are quite friendly, they all say hi to our family.

Great location, nice bikes”

Great location near several parks and central Chiayi. We took advantage of the free loaner bikes. Rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was great with a great view from the roof

Comfort & Convenience”

My experience staying at this hotel is one that is nothing less than pleasantness and comfort. The room is spacious and clean. International cable channels are available for viewing on the 37-inch LED TV. It is located within walking distance to many local food options, convenience stores like 7-Eleven and Watsons and a night market offering many merchandise for sale, not to mention the many other food stalls which sells many more local fare. Definitely value for money and I will recommend for anyone travelling to Chiayi and its surroundings for vacation.

Good”

we stay in 4people room. The rooms is good. Among Taichung, Taipei and kaoshiunng, Chiayi will be the place i will like to visit again. The people here is nice and helpful compare to taichung and taipei

Great hotel by the famous night Market”

Great hotel to be if you want to go to Alisan but wanted to have a break somewhere before heading up there. This hotel is by the famous Wenhua Night Market where the famous Smart Fish soup is. It is also walking distance from the Hinoki Village where all the shops are in this wooden Japanese style housing with garden and a pond. We booked a Japanese style room to try and although it is cool but it's hard on your back and knees to sit on the floor and lay on tatami floor with foam mattresses. It's cool to experience once though.

FRIENDLY & COMFORTABLE STAY”

Superior Queen Room (without window) as shown on website clean and comfortable. Good location and walking distance to plenty of food outlets and night market. Hotel staff provides good service and always willing to help. I would like to commend front desk staff, Lily did a good job and always ready to offer her service of help and recommendation. Hotel offers free laundry (self-service for using their washing machine & dryer) service.

Decent hotel for your money”

There are not much selection for 4-5 stars hotel in Chiayi city. This one is decent enough. The services was good and the location is convenient. Breakfast has many selection tailor to foreigners .

Great location downtown”

Very clean room with all necessary functionalities, tea/coffee maker, clean bathroom. May be a bit small for some, but was perfect for us! Also to note is the excellent internet connection. Having been to so many hotels that advertise high-speed internet in the rooms only to deliver a slow overloaded connection barely good enough to check email, this hotel seems to get it.

Sizeable room. good location”

located near the chiayi night market which was extremely convenient for us to grab a late night supper or to do any last minute shopping. room was of a decent size, decently clean and nicely touched up. staff were knowledgable and extremely helpful. do consider taking their hotel vehicle when travelling as it is reasonably priced.
